In-house experiments were performed to obtain: (i) charging/discharging curves with different C-rates and (ii) open-circuit voltage characteristic. The results were used to analyze battery coulombic and energy efficiencies, which lead to methodology for accurately assessing one-way energy efficiencies. Utilization of accurate one-way efficiencies potentially improves a variety of battery models and algorithms for state-of-charge estimation. The aim is to reduce the system losses and estimate the temperature of the branch conductors, since taking temperature into account will result in losses increasing when compared with the Newton-Raphson method. To accomplish this, the particles were the nodal voltages of the system, in which it differs from other applications of the PSO algorithms in power systems. The proposal was applied to the IEEE-30 and IEEE-118 bus systems. The current model implements a channel-level variable quantization network to dynamically allocate and withdraw the bitrates from significant and negligible channels. Its main specific is the usage of the variable quantization controller that consists of such components: channel importance module that dynamically learns the importance of channels during the training, and splitting-merging module, which allocates different bitrates of the channels. Quantizer implements the Gaussian mixture model manner. The paper is a continuation of several similar research done before that first provided an idea and architecture of the model. The main goals of the proposed work are to do a deeper analysis of the system, verify and improve the model effectiveness. The analysis of convergence of the received equations with expressions of the international standard IEC 60287-1-1 is resulted. It is shown that for the high frequency zone the expressions of the IEC 60287-1-1 standard describing the dependence of the active resistance on the frequency give a significant error. A simplified approximation dependence is proposed for the high-frequency zone, which makes it possible to determine the dependence of the active resistance on the frequency without the use of Bessel equations. The obtained equations can be used to determine additional power losses in the active supports of electrical networks, windings of electric machines, high-frequency transformers from higher harmonics of currents at different nonlinear loads. Since this difficult challenge is a problem with NP computational complexity, the difficulty of developing solutions in classical ways has been tried to be solved by using optimization algorithms. In this study, all possible configurations that can be used for all linear feedback shift register structures up to eight degrees have been determined using the binary bat optimization algorithm. Statistical properties of random sequences generated using these configurations have been tested using the chi-square test. All the resulting configurations are shared as a public dataset. Due to traditional microprocessor cannot provide timings for high-resolution VGA interface it is often implemented as a part of FPGA-based image processing flow. The main problem is that FPGA-based project need to be covered with an adequate set of tests which allow verifying the functionality the whole image processing flow even without availability of real FPGA IC and/or monitor. This, in turn, remains difficult without the visualization of resulted image. A hardware verification technique of digital VGA generator synthesized on the FPGA basis that uses of an unsynthesized subset of the System Verilog language has been proposed in this paper. A full-featured object-oriented package for BMP-files processing is developed and its integration inside the FPGA-project is shown. The dependences of the voltage conversion ratio, control pulses duration, and operating frequency of the converter under variation of resonant circuit parameters and control pulses duty cycle are obtained by dint of numeric simulation. The dependences of these characteristics under variation of load impedance and control duty cycle are also obtained. They have many critical health, economic and social impacts. In this paper, we assess prediction of temporal monthly of Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) over four dust sources within the global dust belt using three different algorithms. The three models are long-short term memory (LSTM), Convolutional neural networks-long-short term memory (CNN-LSTM) and Convolutional long-short term memory (ConvLSTM). Classical Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm for time series predication is compared to the three neural networks models. Grid search is used to find the optimal internal weights for the proposed neural network algorithms. The four dust sources are Eastern Libyan Desert, Saudi Arabia Peninsula, Indian subcontinent and China. Monthly temporal (2005-2021) AOD product from Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications, Version 2 (MERRA-2) reanalysis is selected for training and validation periods. The presented models for AOD predication show efficient performance and cheap solution from computational point of view.
