The attenuator is executed on a crystal of gallium arsenide with dimensions 2.6 times 1.6 mm2 and provides in a strip of frequencies 5 - 6 GHz signal amplitude control in a band 0 - 31 dB with a step 1 dB and initial losses - 6 dB. Research of a channel resistance of the transistor made on two types of epitaxial structures is carried out.","PeriodicalId":328074,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Crimean Conference - Microwave & Telecommunication Technology","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129148875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the scope of authors interests a Planning Tool for Wireless Networks (IEEE 802.11a, b, g and 802.16) is situated. Site Finder, a Wireless Planning Tool is integrated within the CANDY Framework [1-3] and aimed to optimization of constellation of Access Points and Base Stations on PHY-layer under use of built-in project data visualization and documenting features. The obtained wireless networks solutions can be easily coupled with wired part of the designed CN as well as provide the further phases of integrated design workflow (cable system route tracing, load evaluation, performance and costs analysis).","PeriodicalId":328074,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Crimean Conference - Microwave & Telecommunication Technology","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125682586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But sometimes the spectrum contains many stripes of radiation named as zebra-pattern, the origin of which is not clear. The great number of hypotheses of its origin is published but all of them do not take into account the change of signal during its propagation through a corona. The presented analysis showed that the effects of propagation can form the dynamic spectrum containing zebra-patterns. The properties of designed spectrum coincide with basic properties of the observed spectrum. It is found out that a ldquospikerdquo structure of strips is a natural property of radio wave interference and its existence indicates the interference nature of formation of a zebra-pattern. Consequently the zebra pattern can be formed not in a source of emission, but can arise up as a result of radio wave propagation through the inhomogeneous refractive coronal medium.","PeriodicalId":328074,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Crimean Conference - Microwave & Telecommunication Technology","volume":"291 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132138090","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, efficient remains a challenge, since existing design tools only provide limited and hardly integrated support. The CANDY project was launched in 2003 with the aim to improve this situation by proposing an integrated design methodology with extensive tool support for all network design sub-tasks. This paper illustrates the CANDY network design methodology by giving an overview of the integrated design approach and presenting two advanced algorithms for design of wireless local area networks.","PeriodicalId":328074,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Crimean Conference - Microwave & Telecommunication Technology","volume":"33 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125710604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
