Jesus Christ directed the priesthood to teach all nations the spiritual life. Christ convinced the persecutor of the church, Saul, to preach the New Testament and teach spiritual life, showing the priesthood that it was possible to convince opponents of the church and Christianity. Voltaire said that scientific technological progress would weaken the influence of Christianity on humanity. His warning became prophetic. Priests do not sufficiently broadly and deeply and highly convince various segments of the population about the need to form an Orthodox worldview and lead a spiritual life, judging by the spiritual state of society and the culture of the world. The basis of spiritual life is Orthodox culture. Orthodox culture is a peaceful unifying force for all peoples. Orthodox culture should become a moral format for the worldview, behavior and attitude of citizens, as well as a form of unification of peoples and various segments of the population. This should be the goal of the priesthood and power in the formation of the cultural sovereignty of Russia and the culture of the world.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"67 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139638217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This advocated for increased sentencing for perpetrators whose crimes were motivated by or demonstrated hate against a person with a handicap or a perceived disability. Currently, this additional sentencing provision is the only legal option for prosecuting disability hate crime perpetrators. This thesis explores the experience and aftermath of hate crimes committed against England’s cognitively challenged senior victim group. The cognitively challenged elderly victim group is far more likely to face bias and violence; they have a greater likelihood of re-victimisation and suffer significant suffering as a result of hate crimes. To date, the voices of cognitively deficient elderly victims and survivors have been mostly absent from scholarly research and hate crime policies. As a result, the purpose of this article is to look into present policy barriers and how the cognitively challenged senior victim group might best receive support, justice, and interventions following discriminatory hate crimes. There has been little examination and discussion of intersectionality in disability studies and hate crime research. Common ideas fail to adequately reflect the multifaceted, overlapping, and complex experiences of danger and victimisation. This paper builds on studies on hate crimes against the cognitively deficient elderly victim group. It noted the challenge of categorising individual encounters as one type of hate crime. Victims and their relatives recognised that they were targeted for a variety of reasons, including their inability to care for themselves and their age. The study contends that the present strand-based approach to hate crime conceals a multitude of cross-identity characteristics that, when combined, might raise the danger of victimisation while decreasing a victim’s chance of reporting their experiences. To address vulnerability, safety, and hate crime against disabled people in England and Wales’ criminal justice, health, social care, and refuge systems, barriers to including the cognitively impaired senior victim group in the policy process are presented, allowing for targeted suggestions and changes on relevant issues.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"16 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139633348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Drawing primarily on existing papers in the fields of well-being and housing, it outlines the social impact of house ownership on both physical and mental health. Besides, selected elements like economy, society, ethnicity and employment are also considered to emphasize the associations with well-being. While relations are generally complicated, acceptable evidence exists to admit homeownership plays an important role in human well-being. Conclusions are drawn on the personal and theoretical aspects, highlighting the significance of cross-disciplinary collaboration in urban strategy. Further research is recommended to analyze how the homeownership improves the human condition, which could offer useful experiences to other countries.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"38 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139634814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With a focus on Ophelia and Queen Gertrude, often overshadowed by the titular character, the paper employs a multidimensional approach. It navigates historical and cultural contexts, examining the socio-cultural norms of Elizabethan England and the role of women in Shakespearean drama. The in-depth character analyses of Ophelia and Gertrude unveil their agency and constraints, exploring the impact of external forces on Ophelia’s agency and the Queen’s dilemma as both a mother and a queen. The exploration extends to the absence of prominent female characters in Fortinbras’ narrative, the significance of the play within a play, and a comparative analysis of female characters across Shakespeare’s plays. Reception and criticism are surveyed, from early moralistic interpretations to contemporary feminist readings, offering a historical trajectory of evolving perspectives. The paper concludes by summarizing key findings, emphasizing the profound impact of societal constraints on female agency, and suggesting avenues for future research.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"60 S3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139640180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At its core, politics represents the structured exercise of power within a society or among nations. Anarchy, on the other hand, refers to the absence of a central authority or a state of disorder, often challenging traditional political structures. Diplomacy serves as the bridge between these two seemingly opposing forces. In the international arena, diplomacy is the art of negotiating and maintaining peaceful relations among states, even in the absence of a global government. It is a critical tool used by political actors to navigate the complexities of an anarchic system. Diplomacy seeks to establish norms, treaties, and agreements that mitigate the chaos inherent in anarchy and foster stability. Conversely, the influence of politics and power struggles can both enable and hinder diplomatic efforts. Political interests can either promote cooperation through diplomacy or exacerbate conflict when competing powers collide. Anarchy, as a backdrop, magnifies the importance of effective diplomacy in preventing chaos and violence on the global stage. The interplay between politics, anarchy, and diplomacy underscores the necessity of skillful negotiation and strategic alliances in a world where power dynamics are ever-evolving. Understanding this interconnected web is crucial for addressing the challenges and opportunities that define contemporary international relations.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"35 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139190595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During this period, public case novels were different in their narrative structure and focus, which had a direct impact on the transformation and evolution of public case novels in various historical periods, providing a structural model and acceptance basis for the networked development of “Chinese detective novels” and “martial arts novels”. The rise of the online novel works in recent years has inherited and innovated various aspects of Ming and Qing court case novels. This article will analyze the critical inheritance relationship between the two based on the current situation of online literary works.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"440 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123615375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the case of the pandemic, public policies were exposed in the media and socio-digital networks as incompetent, ineffective and incapable of containing or mitigating COVID-19. Consequently, the corporate image was distorted according to the demands of public opinion. The objective of this work was to reveal the expectation of a Higher Education Institution in the face of the health crisis. An exploratory, cross-sectional and psychometric study was carried out with a selection of 100 students from a public university in central Mexico. The results show that the coupling between administrators, teachers and students determined the corporate image of the university. In relation to the literature reviewed, lines of study concerning the mediating factors of coupling are discussed.","PeriodicalId":322451,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126388705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
