Combining survey and in-depth interview techniques with qualitative content analysis, the author concludes that traditional TV advertising in the digital environment multiplies in terms of content, which is especially noticeable in the sphere of marketing communications. Young people increasingly apply different media technologies, switching from one device to another or using them simultaneously. The hypothesis that is being proven in this paper is: The consequences of the escalation of the Ukrainian crisis irreversibly transform the geopolitical environment and thus induce the formation of a New World Order. The aim of the research is to look at the trends in the transformation of the geopolitical environment and, accordingly, to analyze the potential scenarios for the development of international relations. Adam Smith's \"invisible hand\" turned out to be nothing but a myth which served the purpose of maintaining the monopoly. In pursuit of alternative interpretations, we have decided that this paper should investigate the scale of crisis in the world and how major powers respond to it, as seen through Kondratiev long wave theory. Initially, we present the basic theoretical presumptions, to which we added modern sociological interpretations. This section is followed by explanations of socio-technological factors which are crucial for the intervals of long waves. Radovanović","doi":"10.5937/socpreg56-39829","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5937/socpreg56-39829","url":null,"abstract":"The current acceptance of value orientations by adolescents, changes in acceptance over time, and the connection with changes in social relations are undoubtedly of special interest to researchers, as well as certain segments of society. In this article, the results of the acceptance of the same value orientations at seven points in time, published in the works of different authors starting from 1972 as the first year in which data were available, were compared with the results of their acceptance at the eighth point, i.e., in 2018. The 2018 results were obtained by the author of this article, on a random sample of 832 secondary school students in Belgrade, with the same value orientations as in the previous seven papers: utilitarianism, hedonism, altruism, and activism. The number and type of value orientations are limited by the need to have the same ones throughout the time interval so that comparison is possible. The aim of the paper was: a) to determine the degree of desirability of these value orientations at the time of the research, and b) to determine the desirability changes and possible connection with social changes in the period from 1972 to 2018 (period of 46 years) by comparing the desirability of these value orientations in the same period. The data in previous surveys, before 2018, allowed comparison only in the mean values and calculation of the significance of the differences in them. The results obtained in that way showed the relative stability over time of the hedonic value orientation, a significant increase in the utilitarian value orientation and a significant decrease in the activist and altruistic value orientations. Bajić","doi":"10.5937/socpreg56-37644","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5937/socpreg56-37644","url":null,"abstract":"The research is aimed at showing the ways in which the media image of the European migrant crisis changed on the front pages of Serbia's dailies from 2015, when this crisis hit the headlines, until the end of 2020, when it subdued substantially, but continued to find its place occasionally on the front pages. The lack of discussion in public space is observed, so that the tone of the narrative is adjusted to the opinion of the ruling structures. Simplification and stigmatization are specific for tabloids that, under the guise of market competition, resort to sensationalism, problematic news and unconfirmed information, while serious press rather tends to promote the human aspect of the crisis, with a more profound analysis of the context. Since spring 2016, the writing about this topic has become less intense, but also a slight qualitative change in the narratives in which the emphasis is laid on the possibility of migrants' longer stay in this territory as well. In addition, the pros and cons of monetary remittances are summarized and analyzed. This paper is focused on operational-level editors at the SBC and their perception of the functions and principles of PSB, as well as the implementation of such roles and principles through various forms of programming content. Empirical research, conducted by means of the focus group method, has shown that editors play a significant role in creating content and that they are fully aware of the roles of PSB. However, they are not entirely familiar with its principles. The first one is dedicated to the specific features of the emergence of this concept in the initial period 1983-1992 and the first developmental period 1992-2000. A special emphasis is laid on the theoretical distinction and domination of the concept of sustainable development in relation to the then existing forms, such as ecological modernization. The second part of the paper continues the identification of the developmental stages within the scope of the Millennium Goals 2000-2015, with a central critical focus on the achieved results. The third part of the paper covers the current stage of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) envisaged for the period 2015-2030, and particularly points to the quantitative faults and inconsistencies in the methodology of evaluation, as well as measurement of the fulfilment of the goals themselves.
