This research is motivated by the efforts to develop the quality of Islamic education institutions, so that they could compete with other organizations. Education marketing services are intended to create a conducive and stable marketing condition, so as to have a positive impact on the parties involved in the marketing process (both the school as the producer and the community as consumers). Based on the results of the study, which was conducted at the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Yogyakarta, it was found that Islamic education institutions also implement various strategies in marketing their educational services. Employing a qualitative approach, the data of this research is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results show that financial resources of Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan are obtained from zakat through BAZNAS Center and through the allocation of costs in Rumpin that has increased from year to year. The improved allocation of costs were caused by the increasing need for services requested by the service recipients (mustahik). The result of the cost improvement is the increasing quality of education and  services. This research investigates leadership typology of Nyai Nur Latifah in Ma’had ‘Aly Nurul Jadid Probolinggo in maintaining Kitab Kuning studies. Employing phenomenological approach of qualitative study, this research collect the data through observation, indepth interview, and documentation. This research uses Kurt Lewin model of action research method which consists of planning, acting and fact finding on the result of the action. The results of this study indicate that there are several efforts to meet the conditions that have been determined by the Minister of Religious Regulation 71/2015 on the establishment of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran. The contributing factors of the succesful strategic planning are the results of the present and expected future conditions analysis, the results of Ma'had Aly SWOT analysis, the Master Plan Development Document (RIP)of Ma'had Aly Pondok Quran, Strategic Plan Cycles and Strategic Plan Matrix of the Ma'had Aly performance. The research used 60 out of 145 lecturers as the population selected using simple random sampling. The research is conducted by using a method of causal with path analysis. The result of the research showed that: (1). there is a direct positive effect of training on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (2) there is a direct effect quality assurance on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (3) there is a direct effect of pedagogic competence on lecturers’ job effectiveness; (4) there is a direct effect of self-efficacy on lecturers’ job effectiveness. This research includes the total population of 283 students of grade VIII. Therefore, based on Slovin formula, there are 74 students involved as the research samples. The data is analysed using quantitative method namely doubled linear regression. Meanwhile, the testing stages include classical assumption (Multicolinearity, heteroskedatisidas, and normality testing). In classical assumption test, multicolinearity free regression model appears while heteroskedatisidas does not occur. It is mormally distributed. Therefore, based on the classical assumption, the doubled linear regression can be utilized in this research. The result shows that the regression is Y = 9.961 + (-0.065) X1+ 0.152 X2 + 0.074 X3+ 0.459 X4 + 0.000 X5, and Fcount = 4,283 sig 0,002 < 0,05. As the consequence, most Islamic education faces problems and gives rise to negative cycles of unsolved problems. Numbers of research results have suggested that the schools could turn the negative cycles into the positive one, or to transform the Islamic education from low quality of education into good quality schools. It necessitates an ideal leadership through a transformative leadership model. In order to build such leadership, this study aims to nbe an important part to profoundly describe the social values ​​of the kiai leadership as the core values ​​of a transformative leadership using Pierre Bourdieu's social practice theory of social action, between (Habitus x Capital) + Ranah = Practice. Using the above perspective, the internalization of the values ​​referred to be social capital for the kiai to give birth to the model of transformative leadership. Because essentially the above value system is a holistic expression of the role and social actions of kiai that comes from al-Qur'an and al-Hadith as a belief and a basic value in the midst of society to make changes. This is a library research with the primary source taken from the Qur’an Surah Al-Ashr: 1-3, the secondary sources were taken from other verses that is related in the Qur'an, related hadith of the Prophet Muhammad and the books of tafsir, while the tertiary sources are taken from books or writings that have relevance to the problem of research. This qualitative research uses Tahlili interpretation approach with inductive and interpretative method. The results of this study shows that the success of an organization without corruption built on three principles of behaviors, they are to build a work ethic commitment to organize effectively and efficiently based on faith, to run the organization professionally, open to accept and provide truth-based criticism and patience. The research is conducted at MIN 5 Majalengka regency, as many as 5 (five) respondent are interviewed during the research.
