Replication is a technique applied in various cloud systems, which increases the performance of a system by improving its availability and therefore minimizes the response time to services. In this paper, some existing replication strategies are surveyed and inspected for various parameters such as availability, consumption of storage space, response time, etc. This study aims to verify whether these techniques meet the expectations of a replication strategy. We also propose a comparative study of the different approaches presented in this article. According to this study, we can conclude that there is no universal strategy of data replication in the cloud computing. It is an area where too many approaches can be experienced.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115924026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, early detection of these lesions may allow to avoid the occurrence of cancer and provide a possibility for doctors to carry out effective interventions. In this work, a non-invasive automated technique for detecting laryngeal leukoplakia is examined. For reliable detection, we have used perceptual wavelet packet transform (PWPT) to extract the relevant information from the speech signal. In this study, the performance of four Supervised Machine Learning classifiers (SVM, KNN, DT, and NB) is evaluated according to three indicators: accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. The results obtained in this study are very encouraging. For the classification of female voices, the best performances of the system were obtained with both KNN and SVM classifiers. As for male voices, SVM and DT techniques outperform the rest of the techniques. This study demonstrates that premalignant lesions can be reliably detected, which can aid in the detection of laryngeal cancer at an earlier stage.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126741935","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis is performed on the classical Generalized Assignment Problem (GAP). To this end, we have used the general-purpose MIP solver. However, the experimentation is done on a widely used GAP benchmark of large and complex instances. The two methods have been evaluated from the standpoint of solution quality and the time required to find it.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131292385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To meet the growing demand of accurate traffic prediction, the study of relationship between road segments is necessary before prediction calculation. Correlation theory has been well developed to provide a better interpretation of dependency for understanding how Time series are related in multivariate model(MV). Pearson Coefficients based Cross-Correlation calculation is proposed to detect dependency between traffic segments in large scale road network modeled by MVTS, at this stage, dependency extraction allows to limit the use of only data collected from points related to a target point to be predicted, For our study we use a 6th road ring as most crowded area of Beijing. An interpretation of results are provided as Scatter-plot.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126085933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recommender systems have been an effective strategy to deal with this challenge. In social learning environments, recommendation systems are used much more to locate the most suitable resources for learners, finding the right resources can help learners in their learning process. The proposed approach is based on the similarity calculation between a learner and his/her friends of the same frequent subnetwork by using Learner model. To approve this approach we developed a system that personalized to the requirements of learners.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127966924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Derived from the Network Virtualization (NV) concept, the VNE process involves assigning virtual resources from a given Virtual Network (VN) into the fittest physical resources from a substrate network. The integration of software-defined networking (SDN) technologies in the cloud are becoming a driven practise due to its centralized design that allows advanced resource management via several cloud policies. In this paper, we propose a systematic VNE policy based on a two-staged Load Balancing (LB) plan. Our approach covers firstly the Virtual Network Requests (VNRs) assignment onto multiple Data Center Networks (DCNs). Then, the servers in each DCN are classified in which they host the most compatible virtual resources. The effectiveness of our approach is finally validated by a set of numerical experiments.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114236645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sensors and actuators in WSANs are equipped with quartz clocks. These are synchronized with a reference clock using time synchronization protocols. Indeed, Synchronizing the clocks is essential for coordinating the sensors and actuators’ operations. In this paper, we propose a new time synchronization protocol for WSANs. This latter combines the advantage of two approved protocols, namely SANSync and FCSA, which considerably improve time synchronization accuracy. Additionally, the proposed protocol can use multiple reference clocks simultaneously to synchronize the clocks. This makes it more robust and efficient. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol exceeds the performance of FCSA and SANSync in all the simulated networks, especially when the network diameter is large.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116913844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This success is due to the use of new technologies of artificial intelligence, which are machine learning and deep learning, these new technologies depend strongly with the use of large and structured databases. In lung cancer field, most of databases have a manual annotation but they are not structured in the form of images and masks, while this structure is necessary in the training of deep learning models especially in the task of pulmonary nodule segmentation. We present in this paper the necessary steps to have a structured database, then we apply classical segmentation techniques in order to compare the resulting masks with those of our database.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121741710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The classification is the most demanding task for automatic decision making. This paper presents the development of ahybrid system for classifying medical data, based on the combination of learning methods with Case-Based Reasoning (CBR). The importance of this work lies in the design and implementation of an automatic classifier such as decision trees (C4.5,REPTree, LMT) and Random Forests (RF) to model the Retrieval phase of a CBR system, thus aiding inthe diagnosis or initial screening of the disease. The performance of the hybrid CBR system designed with C4.5 is compared to those designed with REPTree, Logistic Model Tree (LMT) and Random Forest (RF) for a set of dynamic and static activities. The system is trained and tested on four medicaldatasets, namely Wisconsin Breast Cancer, Thyroid, Hepatitis and Breast pathologies. Simulation results show that the proposed CBRRF and CBR-LMT methods outperform CBR-C4.5 and CBR-REPTree by achieving overall accuracy during cross-dataset evaluation of 97%, 96%, 83%, and 94%on Wisconsin Breast Cancer, Thyroid, Hepatitis, and Breast pathologies, respectively, and achievebetween0.10-0.14 root mean square error.","PeriodicalId":321454,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Networking and Advanced Systems (ICNAS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130962607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
