At the beginning of the 20th century, religious students from the archipelago visited these cities to perform the pilgrimage and continued their studies. While researchers have uncovered the role and network of Indonesian ulama, not all ulama groups have been successfully uncovered. This article examines the role of the Mandailing ulama, particularly those with the surname Nasution, in preserving religious sciences in the Tapanuli Residency in the early 20th century. The ulama discussed in this study include Sheikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Mandily (Nasution), Sheikh Muhammad Ja’far Nasution, and Sheikh Musthafa Husein Nasution. This is a literature study with a historical approach. Kuntowijoyo’s historical research model serves as a reference in writing this article, and al-Ghazâlî’s opinion about the classification of knowledge is the main theory used to analyze research topics. This article argues that the Mandailing ulama, particularly those with the surname Nasution, actively preserved religious sciences in the Tapanuli Residency after studying at Masjidilharam in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. They later became the primary agents of teaching religious sciences according to the Sunni Islamic tradition in their respective areas. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Researchers conducted interviews with Islamic Education Studies teachers and some students at Public Junior High School 1 Bima. The results showed that in promoting religious moderation in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Islamic Education Studies teachers at Public Junior High School 1 Bima used several religious attitudes, they are as follow: justice (‘adalah) attitude, tolerance (tasamuh) attitude, balance (tawazun) attitude, diversity (tanawwu’) attitude and exemplary (uswah) attitude.\u0000Keywords: Religious Moderation, Islamic Education Studies, the COVID-19 Pandemic\u0000Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas bagaimana moderasi beragama dipromosikan lewat pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di tengah pandemi COVID-19 di Bima. This is done because there is still low educational interaction in the classroom when learning takes place. Hence, students tend to be passive and lack the courage to express opinions or ask questions, which has implications for the achievement of students' daily assessment results below the KKM standard. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in class VIII-D in SKI subjects by applying the Question Students Have learning strategy. This research was conducted on students of class VIII-D Negeri 2 East Lombok totalling 30 students. This research is action research with two cycles through 4 stages; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased after learning action was carried out using the Question Students Have learning strategy. The results of the analysis are presented as follows. In cycle I, students only achieved an average score of 72.33, with a classical completeness percentage of 66.67% of all students. In cycle II the average student learning outcomes were 77.27, with a classical completeness percentage of 90%. That means that students' learning completeness classically increased by 29.97% from cycle I and 56.99% compared to the pre-test scores before the action.\u0000Keywords: Learning Outcomes; skiing; Question Students Have\u0000Abstrak: Penggunaan strategi Question Students Have pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, khususnya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dilakukan karena masih rendahnya interaksi edukatif di dalam kelas saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Sehingga, siswa cenderung pasif dan kurang berani mengemukakan pendapat atau bertanya, yang berimplikasi pada pencapaian hasil penilaian harian siswa di bawah standar KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-D pada mata pelajaran SKI dengan penerapan strategi pembelajaran Question Students Have. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VIII-D Negeri 2 Lombok Timur berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan 2 siklus melalui 4 tahapan; perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan tindakan pembelajaran dengan Strategi pembelajaram Question Students Have. Hasil analisis dikemukakan sebagai berikut. Siklus I, siswa hanya mencapai nilai rat-rata 72,33 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 66,67% dari keseluruhan siswa. Pada siklus II hasil belajar rata-rata siswa 77,27 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90%. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, with this study taking place at MAN 1 Sumbawa. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research conducted at MAN 1 Sumbawa, the implementation of HOST-based PAI learning using the TPACK approach at MAN 1 Sumbawa has been carried out properly and effectively. The teachers have tried to hone students' abilities, especially on the 4C abilities (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity) and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). The inhibiting factor for implementing HOTS-based PAI learning through the TPACK approach at MAN 1 Sumbawa is the difficulty in connecting learning strategies, materials, and technology. Inadequate access to technology, poor internet access and limited learning facilities such as LCDs. The supporting factors are qualified and competent teachers who understand TPACK in applying PAI learning to produce quality and competent students following the objectives of PAI learning.\u0000Keywords: TPACK, HOTS, Learning, PAI\u0000Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran PAI berbasis HOTS dengan menggunakan pendekatan TPACK pada MAN 1 Sumbawa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dalam penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di MAN 1 Sumbawa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di MAN 1 Sumbawa, bahwa penerapan pembelajaran PAI berbasis HOST dengan menggunakan pendekataan TPACK di MAN 1 Sumbawa, telah terlaksana dengan baik dan efektif. Para guru telah berupaya mengasah kemampuan siswa terutama pada kemampuan 4C (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity) dan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill). Adapun faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan pembelajaran PAI berbasis HOTS dengan menggunakan pendekatan TPACK di MAN 1 Sumbawa yakni dalam menghubungkan strategi pembelajaran, materi, dan teknologi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran masih terhambat pada akses penghubung teknologi yakni akses internet masih kurang bagus serta media pembelajaran seperti LCD yang masih kurang. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis begins with formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, developing measuring devices, collecting data and only then analyzing data. The results of this study in the validation of research instruments with the components of substance, construction, practicality, and linguistic assessment as a whole were obtained at 92.86%. The results of the analysis of the teacher's questionnaire on Basic Competency, content, suitability of student characteristics, and learning activities as a whole obtained a percentage of 91.00%. The results of the analysis of student questionnaires on aspects of objectives, content, learning activities, overall evaluation obtained a percentage of 93.93%. besides that there was an increase in learning outcomes of 53.37%, from the pretest and posttest data. The conclusion in this study is that from the observations and analyzes that have been carried out, it shows that the use of software-based distance learning can be carried out according to the pattern of basic competencies and material according to the conditions of students. In addition, the quality of student learning can be improved by using software-based distancing learning.\u0000Keywords: PHET, PHET software, Islamic Religious Education, pandemic era.\u0000Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan pengembangan pembelajaran virtual berbasis software untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di masa pandemi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dimulai dengan merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengembangkan alat ukur, mengumpulkan data dan baru kemudian menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian ini pada validasi instrumen penelitian dengan komponen substansi, konstruksi, kepraktisan, dan penilaian kebahasaan secara keseluruhan diperoleh sebesar 92,86%. Hasil analisis angket guru terhadap Kompetensi Dasar, isi, kesesuaian karakteristik siswa, dan kegiatan pembelajaran secara keseluruhan diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,00%. Hasil analisis angket siswa pada aspek tujuan, isi, kegiatan pembelajaran, evaluasi keseluruhan diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,93%. selain itu terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 53,37%, dari data pretest dan posttest. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah dari observasi dan analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis software dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan pola KD dan materi sesuai dengan kondisi peserta didik. This research is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research. The data collection was carried out in three ways: observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles-Huberman stage: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. The study results show that the patterns and methods of character education at the Islamic boarding school Hikmatusysyarief NW Salut include them. First, the khalaf pattern, from this khalaf pattern formed the character of students who are creative, fond of reading, honest, peace-loving, communicative, and democratic. The second is the boarding school (dormitory) pattern; from this pattern, the students' character is formed who are religious, honest, tolerant, communicative, care for the environment, care for the social, and love peace. Then the third pattern is the semi-military pattern. This pattern forms the character of students who are responsible, disciplined, independent, and hardworking. The pattern used is completely under the control of the Hikmatusysyarief Islamic boarding school assistants for almost 24 hours. The application of this pattern is intended so that after they graduate, they can live within the norms that have been agreed upon by the community where they live, as well as in the world of work.\u0000Keywords: Pattern, Character Education, Islamic Boarding School, Hikmatusysyarief Islamic Boarding School\u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan karakter santri di pondok pesantren Hikmatusysyarief NW Salut. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara analisis data mengikuti tahap Miles-Hubermen yaitu reduksi data, kemudian display data, dan yang terakhir penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola dan metode pendidikan karakter dipondok pesantren Hikmatusysyarief NW Salut diantaranya. Pertama, adalah pola khalaf, dari pola khalaf ini terbentuk karakter santri yang kreatif, gemar membaca, jujur cinta damai, komunikatif, dan demokratis. Yang kedua pola boarding school (asrama), dari pola ini terbentuk karakter santri yang religius, jujur, toleran, komunikatif, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial dan cinta damai. Kemudian pola yang ketiga adalah pola semi militer dari pola ini terbentuk karakter santri yang bertanggung jawab, disiplin, mandiri, dan  pekerja keras. Pola yang digunakan ini sepenuhnya dalam kendali para asatiz ponpes Hikmatusysyarief hampir selama 24 jam. The type of research in this research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data analysis method used is an interactive qualitative data analysis model from Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate four types of soft skills developed in PAI learning at Praya 1 State Vocational School: personality, communication skills, collaborative skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving. The strategies used in developing soft skills are: using a student-centred learning approach (Student Centered Learning), the method used in developing student personalities, using the teacher as a role model/example and role model for their students, advising and guiding students, and giving punishment if the previous method is ignored. Use presentation and discussion methods to develop communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Meanwhile, the cooperative learning method is to develop the skills of working with students.\u0000Keywords: Learning Strategy, Development of Soft Skills\u0000Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja jenis-jenis soft skills yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Negeri 1 Praya dan Strategi dalam mengembangkan soft skills tersebut dalam pembelajaran PAI. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi data reduction, data display, dan conclution drawing/verification. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis-jenis soft skills yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Negeri 1 Praya ada empat yaitu kepribadian, keterampilan komunikasi, keterampilan bekerja sama, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Adapaun strategi yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan soft skills yaitu: menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (Student Centered Learning), metode yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan kepribadian siswa adalah guru senagai role model/contoh dan teladan bagi siswanya, menasehati dan membimbing siswa, serta memberikan hukuman jika metode sebelumnya tidak diindahkan. Untuk mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi dan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah adalah dengan menggunakan metode presentasi dan diskusi. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode conten analyisis. Metode ini membahas mendalam isi suatu informasi tertulis atau tercetak dalam media massa maupun elektronik., dengan pendekatan pengamatan terhadap implementasi kebijakan pemerintah daerah Provinsi Jakarta terkait kebijakan PSBB. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa implementasi perencanaan komunikasi berjalan dengan baik. Keberhasilan implementasi menurut Merilee S. Grindle, dipengaruhi oleh dua variabel besar, yakni isi kebijakan (content of policy) dan lingkungan implementasi (context of implementation). Variabel tersebut mencakup sejauh mana kepentingan kelompok sasaran, jenis manfaat yang diterima oleh kelompok sasaran, perubahan yang diinginkan, ketepatan letak sebuah program, penyebutan implementornya dengan rinci, dan sumberdaya yang memadai. Grindle menambahkan bahwa proses implementasi baru akan dimulai apabila tujuan dan sasaran telah ditetapkan, program kegiatan telah tersusun dan dana telah siap dan telah disalurkan untuk mencapai sasaran. Kebijakan PSBB yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta telah melewati beberapa tahap terlebih dahulu untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran yang telah ditetapkan beserta program-program kegiatannya. Puncak kejayaan peradaban Islam (The golden Age) pada saat itu dapat di capai tidak terlepas dari peran aktivitas dakwah yang sangat komprehensif dilakukan baik secara top-down maupun bottom-up sehingga menyentuh  berbagai sisi kehidupan umat manusia. Sinergisitas antara penguasa dan umat Islam pada Daulah Abbasiyah mampu melahirkan banyak ilmu multidisiplin, bukan saja bidang keislaman, tetapi juga melahirkan beragam ilmu pengetahuan yang baru, seperti ilmu kedokteran, ilmu filsafat, ilmu kimia, ilmu ekonomi dan ilmu-ilmu lainnya. Khalifah sebagai pemegang kekuasaan tertinggi  langsung sebagai pendakwah serta mendukung aktivitas dakwah dalam pengembangan keilmuan, ini terbukti dengan banyak dibangunnya sarana dan prasarana penunjang seperti Masjid, madrasah, perputakaan dan juga rumah sakit. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of research conducted by researchers from data obtained in the field, that the factors that influence students to choose the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Studies are influenced by internal factors and external factors. The internal factors that influence the motivation of students to choose the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Program are the aspiration to become a journalist, broadcaster and public speaking believer, wanting to deepen their religious knowledge and develop their interests and talents from within, and external factors that influence the motivation of students to choose the Study Program.
