Kolganova","doi":"10.1109/IFOST.2012.6357548","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/IFOST.2012.6357548","url":null,"abstract":"The possibility is shown to synthesize a nanodispersed powder in the system “carbon-nitrogen” in a hypervelocity electrical discharge plasma jet generated by a coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator (CMPA). The plasma shot is provided in the pressurized chamber filled with the gaseous nitrogen. Up to 1 gram of black powdered product is synthesized for one working cycle having a duration about 100 ms. As a metal support the porous Ni-Al plates manufactured by self-propagating high temperature synthesis were used. The effect of synthesis conditions and composition of green mixture on the phase composition, microstructure, porosity, gas permeability and other properties of the Ni-Al samples were investigated. Solid oxide fuel cells with the structure of “Ni-ZrO<sub>2</sub>:Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> anode” / “ZrO<sub>2</sub>:Y<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> electrolyte” / “La<sub>0.8</sub>Mn<sub>0.2</sub>SrO<sub>3</sub> cathode” were formed on the surface of porous Ni-Al supports by the methods of high-temperature sintering and magnetron sputtering. The phase-shifting method is based on obtaining several interferograms when the phase of reference wave is changed to known values. Accuracy of existing decoding algorithms depends on a setting of values of inserted phase shifts. However, it is difficult to determine an exact value of the phase shift in practice because of errors of devices performing a phase shift. In this paper an algorithm based on the step phase-shifting without a priori knowledge of phase shift is considered. The preparation process and characterizations of NiO coated aluminum borate whiskers were investigated. The results show that during the heating process of the xerogel coated aluminum borate whiskers, one endothermic peak appears at 100 °C and three exothermic peaks appear in the range of 150-350 °C according to the differential thermal analysis. And no weight loss occurs after 350 °C according to the thermogravimetry analysis. After the xerogel coated aluminum borate whiskers are calcined at 500 °C, the surface of each whisker is uniformly coated by a layer of NiO film and the NiO coated whiskers can be easily dispersed in water through an ultrasonic apparatus. Nowadays we have two separate programs: one for computation and one for visualization. We continue to collect statistical data, investigate behavior of the system under different conditions.
