Public colleges and universities are the main force of higher education in China. The country's vigorous promotion of the “Belt and Road” strategy has brought challenges for the internationalization of public universities. With this strategy, companies need more talents who are not only having solid academic background but also are good at foreign languages, analytical skills, inter-cultural communication and other skills. Universities aim at supplying the market with talents serving the local economy; therefore, they must enable themselves to cultivate exceptional graduates. However, many Chinese universities face a number of difficulties possibly eroding the quality of teaching and administrative management such as insufficient teaching force with cross-cultural aspects and insufficient fund. {"title":"Efficiency of Relational Development Intervention Program for Children with Autism","authors":"Na Wang, Yuhua Wang, Huimin Han","doi":"10.2991/erss-18.2019.163","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2991/erss-18.2019.163","url":null,"abstract":"Background: Relational Development Intervention (RDI) program is widely used for the treatment of children with autism. However, its effectiveness in different countries under local hospital conditions is various. This study assessed the efficiency of a modified RDI program that was adapted in Qiqihar Hospital in China. Methods: forty-two children with autism at the Mental Health Center of Qiqihar Medical University were divided into both a test group and a control group, according to the matching principals of their ages and IQ scores evaluated by ABC and C-WISC forms. General treatments of language and speech training, sensory integration training and group training were used in both groups. In addition, the RDI program that has been adapted to local conditions was applied to the test group. The autism treatment evaluation scale (ATEC) form was used to assess clinical syndromes after 3 and 6-month treatments. Results: At the end of 3 month of training, the total scores, language factor scores and the social factor scores, but not the sensory scores and behavior scores on ATEC in the test group were statistically lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). At the end of 6 month training, all scores on ATEC in the test group were significantly lower than those in the control groups (p < 0.05), and all scores in the test group at the end of 6 month were also statistically lower than those at the end of 3 month (p < 0.05). Therefore, it is of crucial importance to propose a sound evaluation system to measure the impact of national vulnerabilities and climate change. In this paper, we focus on how to develop a comprehensive national vulnerability assessment system that takes into ac-count climate change. Based on analysis from Fragile States Index, we build the NVAS (National Vulnerability Assessment System) which includes SA (Social aspects), EA (Economic aspects) and PA (Political aspects) and we divide the four dimensions of judging national vulnerabilities. Each contains three first class indicators and different quantities of second-class indicators. We choose temperature and precipitation as indicators of climate change. The widespread use of information recognition methods, especially the Ecards’ swiping technology provides an important support for the collection of students’ data. In this paper, the data of dormitory access, library access, breakfast consumption, published paper and course grades are combined to describe the characteristics of graduate students. Then academic graduate students are clustered into seven categories, from which data portraits for \"straight A student\" and \"top researcher\" are obtained. The colleges are divided into three categories according to the nature of their students’ paper, thus we can explore the differences of students’ behavior in different colleges.
