The views of scientists on the term \"world financial architecture\" were considered, the institutional and economic aspect of this term was studied in the context of financial globalization. It was determined that the global economy is at the stage of significant financial and currency crises. This is accompanied by the weakness of the financial sector in emerging markets, the increase in the number of offshore financial centres, the limitation of the international institutions’ ability to provide financial support to developing countries, etc. Reasonably, the global financial architecture and the need for its transformational shifts directly depends on the trends in the world financial market and the stability of the world economy, which has been experiencing crisis phenomena in recent years. The global economy is experiencing persistently high inflation, the highest in last decade, amid heightened economic and geopolitical uncertainty and disruptions in energy and commodity markets caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine. An analysis of world commodity price trends is provided. It determines the high inflation of consumer prices, that is especially high in developing countries. It was determined that the national regulators of developed countries apply a stricter monetary policy and curtail measures to support the economy. It was concluded that the situation on the world commodity markets, high inflation, the increase in the cost of borrowing and the weaker growth of the leading economies significantly undermine the growth prospects of developing countries with emerging markets. This group of countries is in a more unfavourable condition than others and undermines the global stability of the world financial architecture. It is necessary to carry out stabilization measures if inflation indicators will grow not only in developing countries, but also in developed countries, whose destabilizing effect on the global economic system will be more impressive.","PeriodicalId":319498,"journal":{"name":"Vìsnik Marìupolʹsʹkogo deržavnogo unìversitetu. In this respect, we employ two methodologies highly relevant and wellestablished in the literature: (i) the relative distance method and (ii) the cluster analysis. The results of the empirical analysis indicate a major discrepancy between the Bucharest-Ilfov region and all the other seven development regions. During the analysis period, there are no significant changes in the positioning of the regions. Regional disparities were not reduced over the period considered, although there are European and national programs for this matter. The essence of the concepts «digitalization», «digital transformation», «digital technologies» is revealed, a conclusion is drawn about the ambiguity of the impact of digitalization on society and the economy. It was concluded that in modern economic conditions, digitalization of the labor market is part of the general process of digitalization of the economy, which is not singled out as a separate direction. The growth of the unemployment rate as the main risk of the digital transformation of the economy has been studied. In particular, there are estimates of global job losses due to digitalization, including by spheres of economic activity, types of work that can be automated using modern technologies in the near future. It is substantiated that in the modern world in the labor market there is a tendency to spread new labor relations, which were not typical for the industrial period recently. It is about the spread of new innovative forms of employment, in particular, remote employment. The peculiarities and constituent elements of remote employment (teleworking) are analyzed. It is substantiated that the introduction of innovative forms of employment contributes to the expansion of the population's opportunities to implement the main principle of employment in the market economy – the exclusive right to dispose of their own abilities to work. Attention is drawn to the fact that the development of the digital economy is being carried out at the state level in Ukraine, which has positive consequences for the labor market, in particular, the development of innovative employment. The obstacles to the development of innovative employment in Ukraine, as well as the main prerequisites for the spread of innovative forms of employment in the state, are highlighted. The formation of the global labor space as the basis for the world economy development is certified. The role of transnational corporations in the development of the world labor market is highlighted. It is established that the globalization of labor supply of the economy is a manifestation of the labor market transnationalization: transnational structures form a separate segment of the world labor market with its own patterns of labor movement, causing the phenomenon of labor flows transnationalization. It’s stated that segmentation of the world labor market indicates the peculiarities of demand for labor resources, their skills and the international labor division - the labor force in the world labor market is diverse and differs from the one which appears only in national markets, it is characterized by high mobility and adaptability employers. The concentration of human resources of the required quality, knowledge and experience within TNCs, as well as the global organization of management allow such companies to optimally locate structural units on a global scale. Taking advantage of the transnational structure, they can benefit from international differences in the business cycle, productivity, characteristics of demand, taxation, etc. It is emphasized that a special segment of the transnational labor space is highly qualified workers. It is substantiated that in the long run transnational corporations will play a crucial role in generating requirements for quality labor force indicators worldwide. The formation of the phenomenon of labor flows transnationalization is characterized, the emergence of the self-organization effect of these labor flows is stated. It was determined that the current state of global economic development contributes to the transformation of the production paradigm, and it also changes the traditional perception of the foreign economic strategies of the countries in the world. The traditional view of scientists on the policy of protectionism was considered. The consequences of protectionist measures for countries in the long term were highlighted. It was substantiated that in the new conditions of post-industrial development, the policy of protectionism acquires a new meaning. It is also determined that the process of digitization becomes especially relevant after the COVID-19 pandemic, as evidenced by the global trend of transforming the world economy on the basis of digital technologies. It was determined that these processes require the protection of digital services’ national providers and the activation of regulatory mechanisms in the context of global digitization. It was determined that a new type of protectionist measures in the context of digitization (digital protectionism) is implemented by establishing barriers or obstacles to digital trade while simultaneously promoting the formation of national digital companies in order for the country to acquire new comparative advantages. The measures of digital protectionism in the countries of Asia, the European Union, the USA, etc. have been analyzed. The relevance of digital protectionism for Ukraine is justified in order to increase the competitiveness of the country's economy by the comparative advantages’ development in modern technological industries in the conditions of the formation of a post-industrial type of economy.
