Timah Tbk. There is less tin in the field, causing tailings to have the opportunity to be reprocessed. Tailings that always increase from each tin washing using a pan america jig result in the accumulation of tailings around the mine. Generally, when washing tin using pan america jigs will not achieve 100% recovery so that the associated minerals and even the main minerals are still left behind and wasted with tailings. Tailings exploitation can be easier than trying to make an insitu collision, this is because generally the tailings are already on the surface or in shallow places, so the process of excavation / re-mining requires lower costs as done by the community around the mine so far. The purpose of this study is to provide information to tin ore mining activities regarding 1) Sn content and cassiterite mineral content in tin ore processing tailings. 2) Knowing efforts to improve the recovery of tin ore washing results with modifications to Pan America Jig. The study was conducted by conducting laboratory tests of tailings samples and washing tailings samples with a pan america jig that had been modified to the thickness of the bed. The average content of cassiterite (Sn) is 10.77%Sn. Efforts made to increase production results are changing bed thickness in accordance with SOPs. The simulation production result according to SOP is 359.2 kgSn/shift. The production increased by 88.72 kg from the previous production of 270.48 KgSn / Shift. If reprocessing of tailings continues, the company will experience profits.","PeriodicalId":31905,"journal":{"name":"Sainstek Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78979017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In contrast, risk analysis requires some mathematical tools to be able to estimate risk based on understanding and availability. In practice, the assets, for which the risk will be calculated, are dependent on one another, resulting in inevitable complexity. We propose a framework that addresses these three situations with a process flow diagram. Simplicity is obtained from a conceptual model based on data flow diagrams which are widely used in information system design. This conceptual model can be translated into several risk models at once: graph, Boolean algebra, Boole’s algebra, and set theory. The complexity of asset dependencies is overcome when translating the conceptual model to the risk model. Solutions were shown in case studies of information systems for COVID-19 personal protective equipment in Indonesia, which require the construction of a simple information system, support multiple risk models, and take into account asset dependencies. The multi-risk model enables implementation proofing by testing the risk models used in each other.","PeriodicalId":31905,"journal":{"name":"Sainstek Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85146264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Computer simulations offer significant advantages for designing learning environments that address these difficulties. One of the best and most popular computer simulations is Physics Education Technology (PhET), which help student with simulation during inquiry-based learning. A quantitative method with the pre-and post-test design was applied to explore student conceptual understanding and concept acquisition about gravity and orbits. The study population consisted of 35 students taking basic physics courses, which was small enough that the entire population was used. A worksheet was designed based on simulation and concepts, with minimum guidance from a teacher. Conceptual understanding data was collected through three stages of testing: pre-test before learning, formative tests just after guided inquiry-based learning, and post-test at the end. The data from all the tests were analyzed descriptively to provide an overview of students’ conceptual understanding. N-Gain was also calculated. Then the condition in which students’ concept acquisition was categorized as loss, hold, and increase was measured. The average pre-test score was very low (32.26), but it increased significantly in the formative test (74.27) and post-test (74.73). The N-Gain values varied significantly among students, with an average categorized as medium (0.63). There were 18 students with high N-Gain, 8 students with medium N-Gain, and 5 students with low N-Gain. Based on formative and post-test data, we concluded that both gain and loss can occur in learning. Concept acquisition can give us more information about conceptual understanding.","PeriodicalId":31905,"journal":{"name":"Sainstek Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76702414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
