Tailings exploitation can be easier than trying to make an insitu collision, this is because generally the tailings are already on the surface or in shallow places, so the process of excavation / re-mining requires lower costs as done by the community around the mine so far. The purpose of this study is to provide information to tin ore mining activities regarding 1) Sn content and cassiterite mineral content in tin ore processing tailings. 2) Knowing efforts to improve the recovery of tin ore washing results with modifications to Pan America Jig. The study was conducted by conducting laboratory tests of tailings samples and washing tailings samples with a pan america jig that had been modified to the thickness of the bed. The average content of cassiterite (Sn) is 10.77%Sn. Efforts made to increase production results are changing bed thickness in accordance with SOPs. The simulation production result according to SOP is 359.2 kgSn/shift. The production increased by 88.72 kg from the previous production of 270.48 KgSn / Shift.
