A very long time in power and covering a vast territory made the Ottoman the center of Islamic civilization for a very long time. The education, culture, and civilization of the Ottoman were built on the madrasa system established from the time of the Seljuks and the scientific knowledge that was widespread in Anatolia through the madrasas. This madrasa system had previously been found in Egypt and Damascus. The development of education is also related to the development of hadith studies in the Ottoman, especially the study of Sahih al-Bukhari. This study aims to determine the development of the study of Sahih al-Bukhari in the Ottoman period. This study using literary research showed that the first Commentary written on Sahih al-Bukhari in the Ottoman was a work called al-Kawsar al-Jari written by Molla Gurani in the fifteenth century. In addition, a total of six commentaries were written, one in the late fifteenth century and the other in the sixteenth century. In the seventeenth century, many hadith scholars from Islamic scientific centers began to come to Istanbul, especially after Egypt entered the rule of the Ottoman Turks. In the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, seven studies were carried out on Sahih al-Bukhari. Especially the study of special qualities in the nineteenth century which is pleasing in terms of the science of hadith. The most important indicator is the study of the methodology and commentary of hadith which appears together with the educational activities of scholars who have a high level of accumulation of hadith.[Dinamika Pensyarahan Shahih al-Bukhari dalam Dunia Akademik Turki Usmani. Turki Usmani adalah salah satu pusat kekuasan Islam selama hampir tujuh abad. Waktu berkuasa yang sangat lama dan meliputi cakupan wilayah kekuasaan yang luas membuat Turki Usmani menjadi pusat peradaban Islam dalam masa yang sangat lama. Pendidikan, budaya, dan peradaban Utsmaniyah dibangun di atas sistem madrasah yang didirikan oleh Seljuk dan pengetahuan ilmiah yang tersebar luas di Anatolia melalui madrasah. Sistem madrasah ini sebelumnya telah banyak ditemukan di Mesir dan Damaskus. Perkembangan pendidikan tersebut juga berkaitan dengan perkembangan studi hadis di Turki Usmani, khususnya studi atas Shahih al-Bukhari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan studi terhadap Shahih al-Bukhari di Turki Usmani. Studi dengan metode kepustakaan ini menunjukkan bahwa komentar pertama yang ditulis tentang Shahih al-Bukhari di Ottoman adalah karya bernama al-Kawsar al-Jari yang ditulis oleh Molla Gurani pada abad kelima belas. The hadith studies (read: sunnah), its position and history requires research from ‘ulama, muhaddisun, ushuli because its considered tohave “historical problems” as questioned by orientalis scholars, not without reason for the historicity of the sunna, its invitation of many scholars to research the “historical traces” about tadwin al-ahadis (read: codification) in the late second and early third centuries hijriyah with this related historiography which recorded quite “uniquely” in theses of “chronology and theorization”. But long after so \"silence\" in \"rewriting\" or \"re-explanation\" and its peak consedered came to \"final\" what everithing from the past (read: turats), and after modernism seemed to be clashed by “Islamic reformism”with \"tajdid\" as stated by Muhammad Rashid Rida. This paper will trace his thoughts, and find out his dilectic (read: Rida) about the hadith which’s said that definitively so different, is that right? Of course, this research makes notes (al-Nuqtat) about this. Although the “historical” method in reading sunnah of the early period, was not clearly raised by Rida, but his thoroughness in history made it difficult to accept riwayat (read: be careful), of course with this \"historical\" method and approach to parse some of the results of hadith discussion in \"tajdid’\" context which carried by Rida as a Reformist figure (read: reformer).[Hadits antara Pembaruan (Studi Analitis tentang Status Sunnah menurut Muhammad Rashid Ridha). Both Muslim academics and orientalists have debated the legitimacy of the hadith for a long time. Jonathan AC Brown is a western Muslim scholar who contributes to rationally explaining the study of hadith so that it is easily accepted by beginners; his work demonstrates his commitment to the study of Islamic studies. This study follows a library research approach in which Jonathan Brown's book \"Hadith: Muhammad's Legacy in the Medieval and Modern World\" is utilized as the primary reference source, which is then supplemented with scholarly publications and journals on Jonathan Brown. The author used the descriptive analysis technique. According to the findings of this study, a hadith is a report about the Prophet consisting of the main text that describes his words or actions, the way of transmission (isnad) that serves to convey, and finally the giver. The authority of Muhammad is that of a Prophet who functions as a teacher, leader, and role model, as well as someone who has knowledge of the future. However, because the Prophet was an ordinary person, he did not have full authority in some matters.[Hadis dan Otoritas Nabi Muhammad: Pemahaman Jonathan A.C. Brown. During this period, the hadith codification went through a complicated process. The clerics who wrote hadith books had a standard in collecting, processing, and disseminating hadith. It has similarities with current knowledge management process theory, i.e., create, capture, classify, store, share, and apply. This study examines the knowledge management of hadith codification using the SECI model by Nonaka & Takeuchi. SECI contains four stages, there are Socialization, Externalization, Combination, and Internalization. The authors classify the process of hadith codification into the SECI model. In socialization, it will describe the process of hadith transfer from the Prophet Muhammad to his companions. The externalization stage explains the efforts of the companions to make the hadith into an explicit form. Afterward, the hadith codification process in the 3rd century Hijri is described at the combination stage. The last is internalization which explains the implementation and recreation of hadith into a new form of documentation. The method used is descriptive. Data were collected using historical-comparative research methods from the documents as the main sources and interviews as additional sources. The results of this study are rigorous methods used in the hadith codification in the context of knowledge management. Other findings are the values of the hadith codification process that can be applied in an organization.[Manajemen Pengetahuan dalam Kodifikasi Hadis. Kodifikasi hadis telah dilakukan sejak zaman Nabi Muhammad dan didokumentasikan secara sistematis pada abad ke-3 Hijriah. Selama periode ini, kodifikasi hadis melalui proses yang rumit. Para ulama yang menulis kitab hadis memiliki standar dalam mengumpulkan, mengolah, dan menyebarluaskan hadis. Ini memiliki kesamaan dengan teori proses manajemen pengetahuan saat ini, yaitu membuat, menangkap, mengklasifikasikan, menyimpan, berbagi, dan menerapkan. Islamic Intellectual treasures such as hadith and its explanation, exegesis, books, scholar and their intellectual products showed us how ancient Arabic patriarchal pattern existed. On the other hand, modernity led civilization to the values of equity, equality, human right and democracy against inequity, inequality, monarchy and individual cult. Problems of inequity appeared much on women discourse in Islamic tradition. Thousands of hadiths were identified recorded by men in patriarchal culture. It made gender issues in Islamic tradition are still sensitive. This article tries to reconstruct the discourse in one of the popular hadiths in marriage in order to explore the possibility of studying the meaning of a more moderate hadith. By using Juynboll's common link, the author finds the hadith narrowed to one name, namely A'masy which is then categorized as a common link in this study. In addition to having implications for the emergence of certain names as common links, this study also reviews further implications regarding the relevance of broader studies in hadith studies; urgent efforts to be made in order to place hadith as a source of more contextual and moderate religious discourse.[Tinjauan Pemahaman Agama Terhadap Hadis Pernikahan. Wacana intelektual tentang perempuan khususnya perkawinan dalam tradisi Islam didominasi oleh perspektif patriarki. Kekayaan Intelektual Islam seperti hadits dan penjelasannya, tafsir, kitab-kitab, ulama dan produk intelektualnya menunjukkan kepada kita bagaimana pola patriarki Arab kuno ada. Di sisi lain, modernitas membawa peradaban pada nilai-nilai kesetaraan, kesetaraan, hak asasi manusia dan demokrasi melawan ketidakadilan, ketidaksetaraan, monarki dan kultus individu. Masalah ketidakadilan banyak muncul pada wacana perempuan dalam tradisi Islam. Ribuan hadis diidentifikasi dicatat oleh laki-laki dalam budaya patriarki. This research is a literature study that focuses research on social media. This research study uses a qualitative approach by applying literature study methods. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is hadith against the phenomenon of social media as a means of communication in the digital era. The results showed that Tirmidhi Hadith Number 2432 contains the importance of good social interaction. Understanding hadith encourages good interaction with social media phenomena. As a means of communication in the digital age, social media has a good and bad influence on social change. Namun, riwayatnya masih dimasukan oleh Imam Bukhārī yang dikenal sangat selektif memasukan riwayat seorang rawi kedalam kitab Shahīh-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas seorang rawi yang dipandang daif oleh para ulama, dan menemukan alasan dimasukannya riwayat rawi tersebut dalam kitab Shahīh Bukhārī disertai dengan kehujjahan hadis-hadisnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah historis dan deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penerapan ilmu Jarh ta’dil, dengan melewati tahapan orientasi, eksplorasi, dan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Umar bin ‘Ali dipandang sebagai seorang rawi yang berada pada tingkatan ta’dil ketiga dan Jarh kedua. Adapun ketadlīsannya, beliau dikelompokkan kedalam tingkatan tadlīs keempat, yang ditolak oleh para ulama untuk dijadikan hujjah kecuali jika diriwayatkan dengan sigat sima’. Didalam Shahīh Bukhārī ditemukan terdapat lima haris yang beliau riwayatkan dan semuanya bisa diterima diterima dikarenakan; pertama, hadis-hadisnya diriwayatkan dengan menggunakan lafaz sima’ yang jelas. Kedua, riwayatnya hanya sebagai tābi’ dan bukan menjadi hadis pokok; ketiga, terdapat tabi’ yang memperkuat riwayatnya dan keempat hanya merupakan hadis mauqūf.[Mudallis Narrators in Shahih Bukhari: Study of al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil on 'Umar bin 'Ali bin 'Atha' bin Muqaddam. 'Umar bin 'Ali bin' Athā` bin Muqaddam is a narrator who is considered to have done tadlīs heavy in narrating his hadiths by the scholars of Jarh ta'dil. However, his narration was still included by Imam Bukhārī who was known to be very selective in inserting the narration of a narrator into his Shahīh. This study aims to determine the quality of a narrator who is considered weak by the scholars, and find the reason for the inclusion of the narrator's narration in the book of Shahīh Bukhārī is accompanied by the argumentation of his hadiths. The method used in this study is historical and descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. This research is focused on the application of the science of Jarh ta'dil, by going through the stages of orientation, exploration, and analysis. The results show that Umar bin 'Ali is seen as a narrator who is at the level of the ta'dil thirdand the Jarh second. As fortadlīshis, he is grouped into thelevel of tadlīs fourth, which is rejected by the scholars to be used as an argument unless it is narrated with sigat sima '. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode pemahaman hadis perspektif gender dari keduanya. Melalui analisa komparasi, penelitian ini hendak menunjukkan perbedaan dan persamaan metode keduanya dalam memahami hadis dengan perspektif gender. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode komparasi dengan analisis Gender. Metode ini digunakan untuk melihat sejauhmana hadis dapat dipahami dan diaplikasikan dengan menggunakan analisis gender, sekaligus untuk memahami secara komprehensif perbedaan dan persamaan dari kedua tokoh. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa keduanya menggunakan prinsip-prinsip gender secara mendasar seperti kesetaran, kemanusiaan dan keadilan dalam memahami hadis. Keduanya juga menjadikan Maqashid al-Shariah sebagai basis penafsiran, dimana makna hadis harus sejalan dengan Prinsip yang terdapat dalam Maqashid al-Syariah. Namun KH. Husein Muhammad dan Abdul Mustaqim memiliki latarbelakang pendidikan akademik yang berbeda, dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa metode yang dipaparkan Abdul Mustaqim lebih sistematis dan metodis serta memudahkan pembaca untuk memahami langkah-langkah metodiknya dalam memahami hadis perspektif Gender.[Understanding Hadith on Gender Perspective: A Comparative Study of KH. Husein Muhammad and Abdul Mustaqim. The study of Gender-hadith has received attention from various Muslim scientists in the world. In Indonesia, KH. Husein Muhammad and Abdul Mustaqim are figures who actively narrate gender equality by relevating it with religious texts. Both of them have different educational backgrounds, thus encouraging researchers to do a comparative study of their thought. This study aimed to determine the method of understanding the hadith from the gender perspective of both. This research aims to show the differences and similarities of two methods in understanding the hadith from a gender perspective through a comparative analysis. The method used is a comparative method with gender analysis. This method is used to see the extent to which the hadith can be understood and applied by using gender analysis, as well as to comprehensively understand the differences and similarities of the two figures. In this research, it can be concluded that both of them use basic gender principles such as equality, humanity and justice in understanding hadith. Media sosial bukan lagi menjadi sarana untuk menyebarkan informasi yang berguna menambah wawasan masyarakat, tapi juga menjadi sarana untuk menyebarkan fitnah, ujaran kebencian, dan hoax. Maka dari itu, penulis mencoba mengontekstualisasikan pemahaman dari hadis al-Ifki. Penulis menggunakan Hermeneutika yang digagas oleh Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, di mana dalam metodologinya terdapat tiga prinsip yang harus dilakukan, yaitu mencari, dalalah, maghza, dan, maskut ‘anhu. Hasil dari aplikasi menggunakan Hermeneutika Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd adalah bahwa dalam bermedia sosial perlu bagi pengguna untuk memberikan informasi yang baik, sebab hal tersebut akan dinilai sedekah. Pengguna media sosial juga perlu untuk menghargai perasaan orang lain ketika akan memosting sesuatu. Selain itu, jika tidak dapat melakukan hal yang bersifat positif bagi media sosial, maka lebih baik diam.[Contextualization of Understanding Hadith al-Ifki on Social Media Interaction: An Application of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's Hermeneutics. This article discusses the understanding of hadith al-ifki which tells about the slander alleged by Aisyah. The hadith contains several issues that can be drawn into the current era of social media, where there are many shifts in its use. Social media is no longer a means to disseminate useful information to broaden the public's knowledge, but also a means to spread slander, hate speech, and hoaxes. Therefore, the author tries to contextualize the understanding of the hadith al-ifki. The author uses Hermeneutics which was initiated by Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, where in the methodology there are three principles that must be carried out, namely seeking, dalalah, maghza, and, maskut 'anhu. The result of the application using Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's Hermeneutics is that in social media it is necessary for users to provide good information, because this will be considered as alms. Salah satu pemikir yang masif mengkritik kitab tersebut adalah Zakaria Ouzon, dimana pemikirannya dituangkan dalam sebuah karya yang berjudul Jinayah al-Bukhari. Namun, adalah Marwan al-Kurdi melalui karyanya Al-Jinayah ‘ala al-Bukhari yang kemudian memberikan kritik balasan terhadap karya Ouzon tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemikiran al-Kurdi dalam karyanya Al-Jinayah ‘ala al-Bukhari serta perbedaannya dengan Ouzon yang melakukan kritik terhadap Sahih al-Bukhari. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi dalam menganalisis, penelitian ini menemukan beberapa perbedaan mendasar yang menyebabkan keduanya sangat berbeda dalam memandang hadis. Pada tingkat ontologi, keduanya memiliki definisi dan pemahaman yang berbeda terhadap beberapa konsep penting dalam studi hadis. Keduanya juga berbeda pada tataran epistemologis, di mana Ouzon lebih mengutamakan rasionalitas daripada nas, yang berkebalikan dengan al-Kurdi. Sedangkan di level aksiologi, Ouzon bertujuan agar manusia menggunakan akal sehatnya untuk tidak tunduk pada teks yang dianggap sakral namun diskriminatif. Di sisi lain, kritik al-Kurdi bukan sekedar meluruskan kesalahan-kesalahan Ouzon. Lebih dari itu, dia berharap hadis tidak terus berkurang jumlahnya karena selalu menjadi bahan kritik para pemikir modern.[The Study of Al-Jinayah ‘ala al-Bukhari: Philosophical-Critical Analysis of al-Kurdi Criticim’s on Ouzon. Although known as the most correct book after the Qur'an, and is the most valid hadith book, Shahih al-Bukhari is not free from criticism. One of the thinkers who is massive in criticizing the Book is Zakaria Ouzon, who writen his thoughts in a work entitled Jinayah al-Bukhari. And, it was Marwan al-Kurdi through his al-Jinayah ‘ala al-Bukhari who later gave a counter criticism of Ouzon's work. This study aims to see the thoughts of al-Kurdi in his work al-Jinayah ‘ala al-Bukhari and the difference with Ouzon who criticized Shahih al-Bukhari. By applying the ontology, epistemology, and axiology approaches in analyzing, this study found several fundamental differences that caused the two to be very different in looking at the traditions. At the level of ontology, both have different definitions and understandings of some important concepts in the study of hadith. Both are also different at the epistemological level, where Ouzon prefers rationality to naṣ, which is the opposite of al-Kurdi. And at the level of axiology, Ouzon aims that humans use their mind to not submit to religious texts, even that are sacred, but are discriminatory. On the other hand, al-Kurdi's criticism is not just correcting Ouzon's mistakes.
