In developing an Islamic studies curriculum, it is necessary to have an integrated concept between goals, materials, strategies, and evaluation. Curriculum development also needs to pay attention to supervision and cooperation with the Ministry of Religion and partnerships with religious leaders. The focus of Islamic studies based on religious moderation in HEIs is the Islamic religious education course. This literature research used primary data from books on the HEIs curriculum and learning Islam in HEIs. Meanwhile, secondary data sources came from books and articles related to the Islamic studies curriculum in HEIs. The findings revealed that for the measurable construction of Islamic studies curriculum in HEIs, it should fulfill at least three aspects: (1) normative curriculum construction, (2) current facts curriculum construction, and (3) curriculum reconstruction (rearrangement). This research further contributes to HEIs in compiling Islamic studies curricula to create students with a moderate attitude. Numerous factors can affect student learning outcomes in memorizing the Qur’ân. This study, therefore, aims to examine the effect of memorization background on students' learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'ân, the effect of learning motivation on students' learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'ân, the effect of self-efficacy on students' learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'ân, the effect of Arabic language skills on students' learning outcomes of memorizing Al-Qur'ân, and simultaneously test the effect of the memorization background, learning motivation, self-efficacy, and Arabic language skills on students' learning outcomes of memorizing Al-Qur'ân. The research used a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The research population was all students in grades VII, VIII, and IX of MTs Yanbû' Al-Qur'ân Kudus, totaling 495 students. Meanwhile, using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique, the research sample of 120 students was obtained. The data were collected using a questionnaire, test, and documentation. The data collected were then analyzed by simple and multiple linear regression analysis utilizing the SPPS version 24.0 application. The data analysis results revealed that the determinants affecting the learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'an indicated that individually, (1) the memorization background had a significant effect of 6.0% on the learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'an; learning motivation had a significant effect of 15.0% on the learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'an; self-efficacy had a significant effect of 14.0% on the learning outcomes of memorizing the Qur'an. Meanwhile, students' Arabic skills had no significant effect of 0.01% on the learning outcomes of memorizing Al-Qur'ân. (2) Together, memorization background, learning motivation, self-efficacy, and Arabic language skills had an effect of 20.9% on the learning outcomes of memorizing Al-Qur'an. The population in this study was all Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in Central Java. The sampling technique in this study was systematic sampling. It was conducted by taking each subject in the population until the number of the desired sample was met. The technique of analysis employed the structural equation model. Based on the analysis results, the requirements criteria were Chi-Square 165.472 (DF= 81, p=0.000), CMIN/DF=2.043, GFI= 0.947, AGFI= 0.922, TLI= 0.940, and RMSEA= 0.051. Then, the proposed model could be said to be fit or fulfilled. Thus, it can be stated that the proposed model design was not significantly different from the empirical data. Under the study results, the determination coefficient (R²) of the social media use intention (R²) was 0.03, meaning that only 3% could be explained or predicted through the variables of attitude toward using social media, subjective norms, and self-efficacy. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) of social media use behavior was 0.29, indicating that 29% could be explained or predicted through the variables of social media use attitudes, subjective norms, self-efficacy, and intentions.","PeriodicalId":31776,"journal":{"name":"Edukasia Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80485657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the study method can reveal the results of the study on the thoughts of Mohammad Talbi. First, it touches on the range of modern Islamic issues and religious issues in general in the context of intra-Islamic relations and the relationship between Islam and other religions, particularly the relationship between Muslims and Christians. Second, building a paradigm of peace among adherents of the \"Ibrahim faith\" and building awareness that we and followers of other religions are one big family, namely the Ibrahim family (Millah Ibrahim) who can create a world of peace and harmony in diversity. This group still exists and continues to conduct cadres in several areas of this country. This study, therefore, aims to reveal the strategy carried out by the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation (YLP) in Lamongan in providing guidance to former terrorists and breaking the chain of radical ideology in Indonesia. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews and direct observations with former terrorist actors through qualitative methods. This study succeeded in finding that in the process, YLP convincingly applied the values of multicultural Islamic education oriented to changing the ideology and personality of former terrorists. On the other hand, in the process, education for ex-terrorists was conducted based on an extraordinary paradigm, namely divinity (rabbaniyah), humanity (insaniyah), and nationality (wathaniyah). Islamic education was also conducted using a rational, psychosocial, and life skills approach. This research also contributes to building an Islamic education model designed explicitly for ex-terrorists with three orientations at once: ideological change, self-change, and encouraging them to socialize again with the broader community.","PeriodicalId":31776,"journal":{"name":"Edukasia Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79843517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is to investigate the quality of students' literacy of Kitab Kuning through the Sorogan method. To collect the data, observation was conducted in twenty Pesantren in West Java and in-depth interviews with Kiai, santri, alumni, and some local societies around the pesantren. The data collected was then analyzed with a descriptive narrative. This study found that the level of santri’s literacy to understand Kitab Kuning decreased. It was aligned with the change of teaching methods from the Sorogan to the classical method.
