Readiness to learn is a condition that must be owned by students because it will make it easier for students to accept and understand the material presented. Good learning readiness will also encourage students to be active in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of giving quizzes at the beginning of quiz-assisted learning in the discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in the buffer solution material. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep in class XI IPA 2 with a total of 30 students. Data collection is done by presenting a quiz at the beginning of each lesson, a final test as an evaluation, observing student activities, and observing the implementation of learning. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis. Learning is said to be effective if students’ learning outcomes are at an N-gain of 0.3 to 1.00. The results showed that the average value of normalized gain was 0.45 in the medium category. Therefore, the provision of quizzes at the beginning of learning is assisted by media quizzes on the discovery learning model that is effective in the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep on the subject matter of buffers.A quiz at the beginning of learning is very important to assess students’ learning readiness. As an established research field, it has a relatively short history, starting in the 1970s. Recently, research has shown that many chemistry education graduates are now working in various organizations and positions other than schools as chemistry teachers. Such organizations include; banking and managerial positions, humanitarian and hospitality positions, as well as communication and entertainment positions, just to mention a few. This reality in the field of Chemistry Education requires that students of Chemistry Education programmes at the tertiary institution level, be adequately guided towards their various career prospects. They need quality training not only in the technical skills required by the teaching profession but also soft skills such as communication skill, emotional intelligence, digital literacy skills, Socio-economic skills, scientific thinking skills, learning skills, writing skills and interpersonal skills among others. These skills are not only imperative to becoming professionals in their future career but to live a commendable life as transformative leaders in their organizations in the future. This included basic information related to security and safety curricula and their teaching to students of primary and higher studies in Iraqi universities and ways of communication between universities to improve the reality of teaching and training. These institutions possess a culture of safety and optimal training methods for trainers and students. The opinions of the residents varied, which indicates the disparity of university institutions in terms of performance and infrastructure to improve the reality of security and safety in their institutions. Among the observations, the survey adopted the terms “yes” and “no” to describe the situation, and this assessment is considered relative and inaccurate. For example, if we take the question, does your institution implement security standards and safety measures? The answer will be 90% yes, with a large discrepancy between these institutions in the fact that they possess these standards. However, it requires more accurate details in describing the required cases in the survey. We suggest that the Ministry of Higher Education’s decision-makers take the results of the survey into account to develop future plans and improve the reality of security and safety. Furthermore, it is required to address the negatives and enable universities to communicate with each other to exchange experiences. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengetahui: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran STAD pada mata pelajaran kimia materi kesetimbangan kimia dan (2) perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMA setelah diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dan konvensional. Untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data, Posttest Only Control Design digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran STAD rata-rata 93% dan pembelajaran konvensional 90%, (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model STAD (86,14%) lebih tinggi dari yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (71,14%), dan (3) terdapat perbedaan siswa yang diajar dengan model STAD (86,00%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (81,76%). This development adapts the 4D development model which includes Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The subjects in this study were 2 material experts, 2 media experts for the validity test, 2 chemistry teachers and 36 students of class X MIPA 2 SMAN 10 Makassar for the practicality and effectiveness test. The instruments used for validity are material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets. For practicality, namely the learning implementation observation sheet, teacher and student response questionnaires. While for effectiveness with learning outcomes test. The results showed: (1) The validity of the instrument includes the validation sheet of the observation sheet of the implementation of the device, the teacher response questionnaire and the response of the students used respectively have an average of 3.8 and 3.65. The validity of learning materials and media has an average of 3.6 and 3.6 and the consistency between validators is in a very high category (100%). (2) the practicality of augmented reality-based learning media based on the learning implementation observation sheet, teacher response questionnaire and student response questionnaire is 97.5%, 92.2% and 88.3% respectively which is included in the very practical category, (3) augmented reality-based learning media meets the effective criteria (≥85%) based on the learning outcomes test with a class completeness percentage of 88.9%. Based on these data, the augmented reality-based card-shaped media on atomic structure material using the 4D development model can be declared valid, practical, and effective. \u0000 \u0000Keywords: 4D, Augmented Reality, Cards \u0000 \u0000Abstrak \u0000Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media kartu berbasis augmented reality pada materi struktur atom yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi Define (Tahap Pendefinisian), Design (Tahap Perancangan), Development (Tahap Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Tahap Penyebarluasan). Subjek pada penelitian ini, ialah 2 orang ahli materi, 2 orang ahli media untuk uji kevalidan, 2 orang guru mata pelajaran kimia dan 36 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 SMAN 10 Makassar untuk uji kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk kevalidan yaitu lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media. Untuk kepraktisan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan peserta didik. Sedangkan untuk keefektifan dengan tes hasil belajar. Deskripsi tersebut didapatkan dari berbagai artikel untuk dilakukan identifikasi dan analisis secara sistematis. Studi bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil studi yang relevan tentang manfaat LKPD inkuiri dalam pembelajaran. LKPD diberikan kepada siswa saat berlangsungnya aktivitas belajar mengajar. Setelah dianalisis, didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat dengan bantuan LKPD inkuiri. Metode penelitian ini yakni meta analisis dengan cara mengumpulkan sejumlah data penelitian dari beberapa sumber artikel atau jurnal. Analisa dijalankan dengan membandingkan data pretest serta posttest sebanyak sepuluh penelitian tentang LKPD inkuiri. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari sepuluh penelitian tentang LKPD inkuiri didapat rerata peningkatan hasil belajar secara signifikan sebanyak 37,35%. Hasil uji T didapatkan T hitung (-9,987)<T table (2,845) yang berarti adanya keterbedaan berarti pada hasil belajar yang didapat siswa sebelum serta setelah penggunaan LKPD inkuiri. Prosedur yang digunakan penelitian adalah 4D oleh Thiagarajan dan pada uji terbatas dilakukan design penelitian onegroup pretestposstest. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lember validasi media untuk validitas, lembar angket respon peserta didik untuk uji kepraktisan, dan lembar tes hasil belajar untuk keefektifan E-LKPD. SMA Negeri 1 Puri memiliki nilai hasil belajar kimia yang sangat rendah yakni 20%. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru kimia diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran kimia dikelas sering menerapkan model ceramah, diskusi, mencatat materi yang dibacakan oleh guru sehingga peserta didik kurang terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Hal tersebut berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pelajaran kimia kurang memuaskan terutama pada materi minyak bumi. Selain itu, guru juga jarang menerapkan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mendukung peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik di era merdeka belajar. Hasil validasi produk terdiri atas 94% kelayakan isi, 93% kelayakan kebahasaan, dan 93% kelayakan penyajian dengan kriteria ketiganya sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan didapatkan 96% kelayakan isi, 98% kelayakan penyajian, dan 94% kelayakan kebahasaan dengan kriteria ketiganya sangat praktis. Analisis tes awal dapat diketahui bahwa ke empatbelas siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini hanya satu siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan pada indikator 1. Dari analisis tes akhir dapat diketahui bahwa dari keempatbelas siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian, 100% telah mencapai ketuntasan pada indikator 1 sedangkan pada indikator 2 ada 2 siswa yang belum tuntas artinya ada 86% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan pada indikator 2. Pada indikator 3 ada 3 siswa yang belum mencapai ketuntasan (78% siswa sudah mencapai ketuntasan). Metode penelitian berupa Research & Development (RnD) model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA N 1 Mojolaban. Teknik analisis data berupa hasil jawaban instrumen tes paket A dan B. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan permodelan rasch dan aplikasi Winsteps. Validitas tes paket A dan B melalui penilaian pakar didapatkan rata-rata skor sebesar 54 dari total skor 60 dan mencapai taraf validitas sangat baik. Desain instrumen tes paket A dan B yang dikembangkan dinyatakan reliabel dan valid dengan kondisi seluruh butir soal sesuai kriteria item fit, tidak ada yang bermasalah dan output interaksi antara responden dengan item sudah terdapat kesesuaian. Hasil tes kompetensi minimum tes paket A dan B memiliki proporsi ketercapaian tertinggi pada materi perhitungan pH sebesar 43% dan 36%. Profil metakognisi tes paket A paling besar dimiliki metakognisi level tinggi 61% sementara tes paket B paling besar dimiliki profil metakognisi level rendah dengan 42% dan level sedang 33%. Agustina, Munzil Munzil","doi":"10.26740/ujced.v12n1.p37-43","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26740/ujced.v12n1.p37-43","url":null,"abstract":"Siswa tunagrahita memiliki kemampuan fungsi intelektual atau kecerdasan di bawah rata-rata anak normal sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang abstrak seperti IPA, akan tetapi ada cara yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran dari berbagai aplikasi dalam meningkatkan materi sains untuk siswa tunagrahita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menggunakan database artikel online yaitu ERIC dan Google Scholar. Artikel yang direview sebanyak 10 artikel sesuai topik. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran bagi siswa tunagrahita sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pemahaman pada materi IPA. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan banyak berasal dari berbagai aplikasi seperti media yang menggabungkan sisi edukasi dan hiburan seperti menggunakan video, permainan (game), media visual seperti gambar dan lainnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa tunagrahita.
