However, there is still much to investigate and learn about organizational models and cultures in SMEs in Ecuador. (Saavedra & Saavedra, 2012) \u0000 \u0000Design/methodology/approach: A cross-sectional design with a qualitative approach was implemented. An empirical study is carried out where the intellectual capital of the SMEs is evaluated through human capital as a dependent variable, and three variables as independent: Values and attitudes, skills and abilities, through the application of a structured questionnaire through an interview with 378 businessmen. of the manufacturing, commerce and services sector of Ambato and Riobamba in Ecuador. It began with the descriptive analysis of the composition of the sample and the statistical results are evidenced through an analysis of means. \u0000 \u0000Findings: The results showed that according to the composition of the sample by company size, microenterprises have between 1 and 9 employees, small companies manage between 10 and 49 workers and medium-sized companies between 50 and 199 employees, being representative, such as drivers. of the economy in Ecuador. One problem is the relevant presence of microenterprises, which generally maintain low-quality jobs and minimum wages. \u0000 \u0000Research, Practical & Social implications: We suggest valuing human capital in SMEs . This research establishes a sense of belonging and commitment, which allows you to socialize with the client and develop your creativity. Likewise, the feeling of belonging establishes that the worker feels an integral part of the company, trusting the administrators, having freedom and autonomy to plan their work and avoiding high turnover, ensuring their permanence in the company. This value allows SMEs to develop and workers to increase their productivity by working in an appropriate environment. \u0000 \u0000Originality/value: The results showed that the SMEs businessman considers it relevant to hire an experienced worker who maintains personal development by involving his family, the company carries out social, cultural activities and specialized training that contributes to improving the development of the company, allowing the hiring of personnel with a graduate degree or specialization. technical, offering training with specific skills for the development of the company.

The categorization of 48 industries according to the Fama-French model has been defined as the industry in this study. The main explanatory variable for this research strategy is the Economic Policy Uncertainty or the EPU. Economic policy uncertainty is measured based on the given index by Baker, Bloom, and David index. Baker, Bloom, and Davis, or BBD, perceive that there are different manners by which the economic policy uncertainty can be evolved. For instance, economic policy uncertainty can be influenced by what different types of discussions related to economic policies are going to be undertaken. BBD has tried looking into the landscape regarding the economic policy uncertainty overall through the eyes of newspapers based in the USA. In addition, there has been textual analysis by Baker, Bloom, and Davis or BBD over different types of digital archives for the top 10 U.S. newspapers for obtaining the count of articles on a monthly basis for every newspaper so that they can be able to focus on the specific economic policy uncertainty.\u0000 \u0000Methodology: Positivist research philosophy has been implicated in conducting this research study. From the research approach perspective, the deductive research approach has been implemented. In addition, a quantitative research strategy has been used for modeling purposes and explanation. Furthermore, an experimental research design has been incorporated into this research strategy. The required data set has been gathered from secondary sources, including the WRDS and BBD databases. Industry return has been calculated based on industry market capitalization. From a modeling perspective, a baseline time series regression model has been incorporated. In this research conduction, there has been an analysis of 10 U.S. industries. The time span is from 2000 to 2020. In addition, there has been an analysis of different policy uncertainties based on the decomposition of EPU.\u0000 \u0000Results & Conclusion: First, the impact of the economic policy uncertainty in the combined form on the industry-level betas has been analyzed. In this case, the entire time scale of 19 years has been divided into three classes: the financial turmoil period from 2001 to 2006, the financial turmoil period from 2007 to 2010, and finally, the financial turmoil period from 2011 to 2020. It has been pointed out that overall, there has been a statistically significant positive impact of economic policy uncertainty on industry level-betas mostly on all industries. In addition, when there has been a decomposition of the economic policy uncertainty index, a statistically si

As discoveries increase and deepen, there must also be an effort to understand the frontiers of scientific knowledge, its most noticeable and studied aspects, and those attributes that have only now been perceived. It is, therefore, necessary to periodically take stock of what science knows about the phenomenon to understand where it is headed and which paths have already been taken. Therefore, the need to take inventory of the current state of knowledge about Industry 4.0 was the theoretical justification for this study. \u0000 \u0000Theoretical framework: The theoretical architecture of this study consisted of the transformations that the industrial revolutionary stages caused in production systems, firstly, and then for the entire society. It involves aspects from various areas of scientific knowledge to understand the different perceptions contained in the scientific literature on the phenomenon of Industry 4.0. \u0000 \u0000Design/Methodology/Approach: The conceptual bibliographic method was used to generate answers to three guiding questions: What are the main approaches to Industry 4.0? What are its main attributes? What is its irradiation logic? All conceptual definitions in scientific studies published in English and Portuguese available in the Google Scholar database from 2019 to 2020 were analyzed, with a total of 19 studies. The semantic analysis technique was used to identify the approaches and attributes, which were then organized by semantic proximity, constituting the semantic groupings on which the results were generated and interpreted. \u0000 \u0000Findings: The results showed the existence of eight groups of approaches (procedures, evolution, time, grouping, transformation, layer, organization, and model) and twelve groups of attributes (industrialization, transformation technologies, information technologies, integrated system, processes, society, quality, knowledge, planning, market, value chain, and automation). These discoveries made it possible to understand that Industry 4.0 has a driving force: knowledge, which spreads similarly in waves until it reaches the entire society and is not limited only to the interior of factories and economic organizations. \u0000 \u0000Research, Practical, and Social Implications: Two implications of these findings stand out. The first is the dynamic nature of implementing Industry 4.0 in organizations, whether economic or not, which is done more quickly if knowledge and technologies are available or more slowly when expertise and technologies are fragile or non-existent. The second is teleological since the purpose of Industry 4.0 and all industrial revolutions is to continually improve production processes, even though these benefits often generate unwanted externalities, such as environmental impacts. This means that the progress of knowledge and its developments cannot be
