The migration of data processing from local node, achieved by decoupling the node hardware from the required processing capabilities, is only possible through implementations of network softwarization. The softwarization which brings, new services that are executed remotely has led to security challenges, yet to be resolved, due to the increasing amount of data being continually exchanged between the sensor node-hub and the remote servers. In this regard we introduce a novel genetic algorithm for data security with a powerful security architecture that performs one-time key, single block enciphering instead of a block chaining or weak stream enciphering. The algorithm architecture produces variable (stealthy) keys and data that adopts white noise statistical behavior, therefore, having high immunity to cryptanalysis. The algorithm combines gene fusion and Horizontal Gene Transfer inspired from the spread of antibiotic resistance in bacteria. A Salt extracted from the data block hash-value adds the stealthy-key feature to the cipher. The 1E safety class of NPP’s load can be supplied from various independent electrical sources namely: main power system (electrical grid), generator (house load operation), auxiliary power system and emergency power system (e.g. Diesel generator). In this paper, the quantitative and qualitative reliability assessment of electrical power supply system model of an NPP are performed using fault tree analysis (FTA) method and importance factors. The quantitative reliability assessment is based on the calculation of the failure probability obtained by the fault tree. Furthermore, the following importance factors: Fussel-Vesely (FV), Risk Reduction Worth (RRW) and Risk Achievement Worth (RAW) are used to identify the most important components in the system. In addition, the Minimal Cut Set (MCS) method is used as a tool for qualitative reliability assessment. The obtained results provide an insight on the reliability level of the power supply system as well as its important components. Firstly, a convolutional neural network is trained to extract multi-scale features of the image. And a point-based deep neural network is trained to extract the multi-scale features of the point cloud. Secondly, the point cloud data is projected to the image plane. The probability maps of image and point cloud in the image plane are obtained by their corresponding multi-scale features, respectively. Thirdly, a Markov-based up-sampling method is used to get a dense height image from a sparse one which is from the point cloud data. A fully connected condition random field model based on the outputs of the two networks and the height image is constructed on the image plane. Finally, the fusion model is effectively solved by the mean-field approximate algorithm. Experiments on KITTI Road dataset show that the proposed model can effectively fuse the image and the point cloud data. One of the best characteristics of these methods is their modular design – the ability to change the connectivity patterns of layers, try different activation functions, inject different statistical approaches such as normalization and dropout in the network, and many other actions – in every aspect of deep learning networks. While the majority of deep learning applications simply use cross-entropy, L1, and L2 losses, subjective loss function can actually result in impressive performance improvement. In addition, architecting the last layer of DNNs – referred to as the prediction layer – according to the needs of the application increases the discriminative power of the DNNs. This paper aims to investigate how particular choices of loss functions and prediction layer architecture affect deep neural networks and their learning dynamics, as well as the robustness of various effects. Furthermore a real-life application to measure customer loyalty called Deep Net Promoter Score (DeepNPS) from online product reviews is also proposed. Nowadays a naval ship is being considered as part of larger systemsof-systems, and could even be possibly a kind of systemof-systems itself. Through interactions anticipation within others existing and future contributing systems, that will possibly include some sub-systems to be integrated on board, and more surely crews to operate them, the design of next generation surface and submarine combat ships has to cope with the systemsof-systems issues. The question to be raised is thereby: How methods and tools that support graphical user interface definition and development process are facing the systems-of-systems issues? This article aims to first list the existing and emerging solutions for Graphical User Interface design in the frame of combat ship: (i) from a crew-centered approach point of view, (ii) for specification and modelling, in the frame of system engineering; (iii) for specification, prototyping and (iv) for development and testing. The array consists of several elementary digital actuators to carry out planar conveyance tasks. Each elementary actuator of this array is based on an electromagnetic principle and has an ability to achieve six discrete positions in a 2D plane. A semi-analytical model has been developed to compute the electromagnetic and magnetic forces, which helps to design an actuator prototype. The homogenous behaviour of all elementary actuators of the array has particularly been studied using the model. An array prototype has then been realized using laser cutting and rapid prototyping technique. This prototype is based on a honeycomb architecture and composed of seven elementary actuators. Experiments has been conducted to characterize the actuator array performances. The pulse duration needed to switch the actuators and the energy consumption has been calculated.
