It has recently been shown that MMSE-FBP can achieve higher sum capacity than zero-forcing and MMSE precoders, however, it still leaves a gap to the MIMO BC sum capacity. We propose two new schemes involving dynamic power allocation among users. These new schemes build on top of the MMSE-FBP structure and are able to achieve the MIMO BC sum capacity. It is shown how this approach permits a receiver to dynamically choose between frequency-domain equalization (FDE) and time-domain equalization (TDE). Also, we consider and compare The adaptive modulation system using conventional turbo coded V-BLAST technique that is simply combined V-BLAST scheme with turbo coding scheme and that is decoded by the ML(maximum likelihood) decoding algorithm. In addition, we apply MIMO (multiple input multiple output) schemes to the systems for more performance improvement. The result indicates that the proposed systems achieve a better throughput performance than the conventional systems in the whole SNR range. And in terms of the throughput performance, the suggested system is close proximity to the conventional system using the ML decoding algorithm. In addition, the simulation result shows that the maximum throughput improvement in each MIMO scheme is respectively about 350 kbps, 460 kbps, and 740 kbps. It is essential that providing continuous services of multimedia streaming data when a mobile subscriber station (MSS) is across a boundary of a serving area to another one. Although the IEEE 802.16e standard is proposed to tackle this difficult problem, the disruption time (DT) of handover is still too long to overcome the maximum delay time of real-time services. To deal with this problem, this paper proposes a pre-coordination mechanism (PCM) for supporting fast handover in WiMAX networks. This goal is achieved by measuring the distance between the BS and the MSS and predicting the time of handover occurs, and thus pre-allocating available resources for handover usages. Simulation results show that the enhanced DT of handover can achieve approximately to 11 milliseconds. To support various code rates with reasonable hardware a row-splitting/combining method is employed in conjunction with shortening. In row-splitting approach, a parity check matrix of a high rate mother LDPC code, saying rate 4/5, is designed first and then successively row-split the mother matrix to obtain lower rate codes. Shortening provides us another degree of freedom for rate and frame length flexibility for concatenation with MIMO system. The accuracy of standard GPS is low due to position measurement errors. This paper presents a frequency domain modeling approach to model GPS errors and increase GPS positioning accuracy. This approach models GPS errors using shaping filter. External sensors are employed to reduce GPS errors. These networks comprise of somewhat static multi-radio Mesh Routers, which essentially provide connectivity between the mobile single-radio mesh clients. Special routing protocols are employed, which facilitate routing between the mesh routers as well as between the mesh routers and the mobile clients. AODV is a well known routing protocol that can discover routes on-the-fly in a mobile environment. The protocol is highly scalable and can support thousands of nodes making it an ideal protocol for wireless mesh networks. However, as the protocol was actually developed for single-radio nodes, it frequently lacks the ability to exploit the potential offered by the mesh routers and, hence, sub-optimal routing takes place in a mesh environment. This paper gives an overview of four variants of the AODV routing protocol that can potentially be used for mesh formation.
