Reyog at the present time is generally acknowledged as cultural identity of Indonesian nation. The case is different with other Javanese traditions such as kentrung, ludruk, and ketoprak that has collapsed over time. This fact raises interesting questions of how Reyog could withstand against the onslaught of various cultures that come to attack it from time to time. This study used anthropological approach by utilizing the theory of Robert Redfield on the interaction of great tradition and little tradition. The results of this study indicate that although Reyog has interacted with various cultures, particularly Islam, it is able to reform and reformulate its tradition and find cultural attitudes flexible with various cultures that come with it. The cultural attitudes embody in stage-modernization, transformation of mythologies and reforms of the symbols of social values. Reyog sebagai seni pentas arak-arakan yang telah ada di Ponorogo semenjak pra-Islam masih berkembang hingga saat ini bahkan terus mengalami perkembangan ke luar daerah Ponorogo baik secara regional, nasional, dan internasional. Reyog pada masa sekarang secara umum diakui sebagai identitas budaya bangsa Indonesia. Kenyataan itu berbeda dengan tradisi Jawa lain yang telah runtuh dan tinggal dalam arkeologi sejarah budaya seperti kentrung, ludruk, dan ketoprak. Keadaan ini menimbulkan pertanyaan menarik tentang bagaimana Reyog bertahan dari gempuran berbagai budaya yang datang menyerangnya dari zaman ke zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologi dengan memanfaatkan teori Robert Redfield tentang pertemuan tradisi besar ( great tradition ) dan budaya kecil ( little tradition ). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Reyog bertemu dengan berbagai budaya, khususnya Islam, Reyog mampu mereformasi dan mereformulasi tradisinya sehingga ditemukan sikap budaya yang lentur dan cocok dengan berbagai budaya yang datang bersamanya. While in science and religion, tatsabbut is more important because the consequences could be dangerous. Therefore, Muslims as ummatan wasatan have been given by God the privilege to be the people whose religion and science have sanad. At the time of the salaf, tatsabbut with sanad was common through talaqqi and historical verification. In order to revive the culture of this tatsabbut, it needs a critical study on the sanad concept in a famous and wide spread of Nahj al-Balaghah book. The research questions are, how is the concept of sanad in the book Nahj al-Balagha? Does Nahj al-Balagha contain the belief of tasyayyu ‘Ghali (Rafidhah) and bara’ah (seperating themselves) from the prophet’s companions? This research used qualitative method, through a literature review and a descriptive documentary analysis. The finding shows that the book Nahj al-Balagha doesn not have sanad and its concept. Furthermore its content rejects and hates the companions of the Prophet and his wives. Tabayyun atau tatsabbut atau tahaqquq (verifikasi) dan taakkud (konfirmasi) dalam berita adalah penting agar kita tidak berbuat salah, zhalim dan menyesal. Sedangkan di dalam ilmu dan agama maka tatsabbut itu lebih penting lagi sebab akibatnya bisa lebih fatal. Oleh karena itu umat Islam yang dijadikan oleh Allah sebagai ummatan wasa t an diberi keistimewaan sebagai umat yang agama dan ilmunya ber- sanad . Di jaman salaf, tatsabbut dengan sanad sudah membudaya dalam talaqqi dan riwayat. Maka untuk menghidupkan kembali budaya tastabbut ini peneliti memandang perlu melakukan studi kritis terhadap konsep sanad yang ada dalam kitab Nahj al-Balaghah yang kesohor dan tersebar luas itu. Maka rumusan masalahnya adalah bagaimana konsep sanad dalam kitab Nahj al-Balaghah? Apakah Nahj Balaghah berisi akidah tasyayyu’ ghali (Rafidhah) dan bara’ah (berlepas diri) dari para sahabat Nabi? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, melalui kajian literatur atau kepustakaan dan analisis dokumen secara deskriptif. That Islam factual is a form of religious Muslims in the world who could be affected by the social and cultural background. Islam factual can occur differences between Muslims with each other. In this article the Islam factual become to be studied is Islam Indonesian. Questions to be answered is how the characters and the typology of Indonesian Islam? The conclusion that the discovery, that the character of Islam Indonesian is wasatiyah and typology is accommodating to the socio-culture in society. Then typology proposed by Clifford Geertz in this case was no longer relevant, particularly to describe Islam Java as an example. Furthermore, this contemporary era Islam Indonesian in part experienced a shift in orientation toward transnational Islam, namely that Islam salafi manhaj. This article is a literature review using materials research results related to the theme that became the object of study. Artikel ini berupaya menjelaskan terkait dengan Islam faktual sebagai keniscayaan yang terjadi kepada umat Islam. Bahwasanya Islam faktual merupakan bentuk keberagamaan umat muslim di dunia yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh latar sosial dan budaya masyarakat. Islam faktual dapat terjadi perbedaan di antara umat muslim yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Dalam artikel ini Islam faktual yang menjadi kajian adalah Islam Indonesia. Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab adalah bagaimana karakter dan tipologi Islam Indonesia? Kesimpulan yang ditemukannya, bahwa karakter Islam Indonesia adalah wasatiyah dan tipologinya adalah akomodatif dengan sosio-kultur di masyarakat. Kemudian tipologi yang dikemukakan oleh Clifford Geertz dalam hal ini sudah tidak relevan lagi, khususnya untuk menggambarkan Islam Jawa sebagai contoh Islam Indonesia. Selanjutnya era kontemporer ini Islam Indonesia sebagian kecil mengalami pergeseran orientasi ke arah Islam transnasional, yakni Islam yang bermanhaj salafi . This paper is written through literary review that is completed with observation from some mitoni traditions. The culture form of ideas, activities and artifact is applied in 'mitoni'. It is a celebration on seventh month of pregnancy age. The activities done in mitoni are 1) bathing, 2) 'brojolan' ritual, 3) clothing change ritual, 4) prayer, 5) gift. Islamic values that inspire economic activities in mitoni are 1) thanksgiving that encourages people to be productive, 2) 'tafaa’ul' through prayer to be selective in consuming goods, 3) helping each others to manage the production cost, 4) implied education as all the activities are based on knowledge, 5) visitation to make connection through service distribution, 6) almsgiving through the gift that will maximize the production value, 7) reciting the verses of al-Quran and their meaning, some of which related to prosperity, 8) economic creativity, through the use of various apparatus and foods, bearing production activities. Budaya sebagai hasil dari cipta, rasa dan karsa manusia, dalam Islam merupakan manifestasi dari ibadah. Makalah ini ditulis melalui kajian pustaka dilengkapi dengan observasi dari beberapa acara mitoni. Wujud budaya yang berupa gagasan, kegiatan dan artefak yang teraplikasi pada budaya 'mitoni' 'Mitoni' adalah perayaan tujuh bulan usia kehamilan. Rangkaian mitoni adalah 1) siraman, 2) upacara brojolan, 3) upacara pergantian busana, 4) doa dan 5) 'mberkat'. Through virtual ethnographic research with Analisis Media Siber level of technic, this article tries to trace the cultural artifacts of satire and values contained in the meme . Partisipasi pengguna dalam komunikasi online di media sosial juga merambah pada fenomena ajakan menikah di tengah masyarakat termasuk di dalamnya alasan-alasan yang terdengar klise yang muncul. Meme “Mengajak Nikah ke KUA” merupakan satire atau sindiran yang muncul dan terdistribusi melalui media sosial dan menjadi semacam cerminan dunia virtual yang berasal dari dunia nyata. This study uses religious anthropological approaches to explore various ideas and understanding of the research object. The results showed that this tradition is motivated by environmental condition of Banjar which is prone to fire, so as part of a tradition of starting reinforcements. It is carried out when people have seen some signs or warnings and dealt with specific situations. This tradition is done at night during dry season when fires frequently happened, with the aim of counteracting the danger of fire and for safety. In this tradition, the procession made certain that is believed to be a sort of intermediary or the cause so that it prevents from the fire. Starting with the implementation of the sunnat prayers, then reading the sura Yasin, paraded the holy book around the village, recite the lines of Burdah, reading segue Kamilah, and closed with praying for salvation. The description of religious valuesand propaganda contained in this tradition is strong evidence of the ability of the scholars earlier to acculturate the understanding and behavior of Banjar society before the arrival of Islam. MKB is one of the traditions that reflect the meeting between Islam and local culture. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kearifan lokal dan harmoni yang terdeskripsi dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari pada masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologis keagamaan untuk menggali berbagai pemikiran dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lingkungan masyarakat Banjar yang rawan terjadi kebakaran, sehingga sebagai bagian dari tradisi tolak bala, MKB dilaksanakan ketika masyarakat telah melihat sejumlah tanda (mendapat peringatan) dan berhadapan dan situasi tertentu. Tradisi ini dilakukan pada malam hari, ketika musim kemarau, seringnya terjadi kebakaran dengan tujuan menangkal bahaya kebakaran dan memohon keselematan. Dalam tradisi ini, dilakukan prosesi tertentu yang diyakini bisa menjadi semacam perantara (wasilah) atau berkat (penyebab), sehingga kebakaran tidak terjadi. Dimulai dengan pelaksanaan shalat sunnat hajat, diteruskan dengan membaca surah Yaasin, mengarak keliling kampung kitab Shahih Bukhari, melantunkan syair-syair Burdah, membaca Shalawat Kamilah, dan ditutup dengan pembacaan doa tolak bala serta doa keselamatan. Deskripsi nilai keagamaan dan dakwah yang terkandung dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari merupakan bukti kuat kemampuan para ulama terdahulu dalam mengakulturasi paham dan prilaku masyarakat Banjar sebelum kedatangan Islam. The wages are used as an alternative income by allocating them as a capital for other ‘business’ in solving economic household problems. Minangkabau implement matrilineal system which respect women called as b undo kanduang. A local proverb for the system is “limpapeh rumah nan gadang, amban puruak pagangan kunci, sumarak dalam nagari”. Discussions about women have not been finished yet. The highest reward toward women in Minangkabau custom is not well-implemented in the real life. The methodology used for this research is a descriptive method, to explain the problem, events, and any recent phenomenon. In Islamic thoughts, human activities are interpreted in two mainstreams of thoughts. Firstly, the interpretation that human is a free to will, that human activities are created by his self. Secondly, human actions are not created by man, but by God. For this group, a human is not strong enough to do anything, God controls everything. The first stream, in Islamic thought known as Qadariyah, while the second is called Jabariyah. Several people in the community of fish auction market of Bajoe agree on the opinions of Qadariyah and Jabariyah, while some others disagree.
