We begin with the notions of rhythm and poem as proposed by Meschonnic, as well as with the notions of syntactic accent and prosodic accent developed by Dessons. This theoretical path supports an analysis that is based on the reading of both the utterance and the enunciation, making it possible to listen to the rhythm of the essay.","PeriodicalId":31167,"journal":{"name":"Letras","volume":"6 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141686108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, some sections provide a greater condensation of these reflections. A hermeneutical analysis is presented of two sections of this book in which Marechal’s poetry is explained with clarity, order and condensation: the «Prólogo indispensable» and the episode of Ciro Bower (chapter I, book IV). In addition, the «Claves del Adán Buenosayres» are reviewed. This analysis is completed with comments about Marechal’s poetry taken from specialized literature.","PeriodicalId":31167,"journal":{"name":"Letras","volume":"17 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141684793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Adán Buenosayres (1948) es la gran puesta en escena como autor de Marechal. De acuerdo con el concepto de postura literaria (Meizoz), los textos literarios son empleados del mismo modo que entrevistas, iconografía, fotografías, reflexiones en torno a su propia obra, etc. con el fin de mostrar una determinada imagen del autor. Esta imagen o ethos fue elaborado por el propio Marechal en combinación con sus lectores y críticos. Así, se concluye que, desde Adán Buenosayres, se elaboró la imagen de un escritor genial e incomprendido, aislado, progresivamente desprendido de la tradición hispánica e interesado, sobre todo, en la construcción de una obra maestra de la literatura argentina.","PeriodicalId":31167,"journal":{"name":"Letras","volume":"208 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140775948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El libro, que contiene imágenes del fotógrafo vanguardista Horacio Coppola, fue encargado a Marechal por la Municipalidad de Buenos Aires con ocasión de su cuarto centenario (1536-1936). El trabajo comienza contextualizando el libro dentro del conjunto de la obra de Marechal, para luego explicar cómo el autor se debate entre celebrar el crecimiento de una ciudad que se proyecta hacia el futuro y lamentar la pérdida de un pasado irrecuperable, que queda demolido bajo la transformación de Buenos Aires en metrópolis moderna. Al analizar los distintos actores que participan en el proceso de composición del libro -el encargo de la intendencia, la escritura de Marechal, la fotografía de Coppola, el diseño del tipógrafo y del impresor, el suministro del archivo de coleccionistas- se explicitan las tensiones que atraviesan el libro y, en un sentido más amplio, el proyecto modernista de Buenos Aires a mediados de la década de 1930. La hipótesis es que Historia de la calle Corrientes es una cristalización, en forma de libro, del proyecto estético del clasicismo vanguardista que la intendencia de Buenos Aires buscaba plasmar en su renovación arquitectónica del centro de la ciudad.","PeriodicalId":31167,"journal":{"name":"Letras","volume":"42 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140756399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El análisis de las marcas, presentes y difusas en la novela, estudia las diferentes estratificaciones e inscripciones semánticas que construyen el cronotopo de la muerte, comprendido también como genotexto, en cuanto núcleo constante de sentido. Megafón se compromete con ese mundo caótico, ridículo y descompuesto, con sus miserias y su corrupción, para romper el cascarón de la tierra, desprender la epidermis anquilosada de la ciudad serpiente, demoler el desorden y purificar la creación. El protagonista interactúa con la “no” vida, el “no” ser y los nuevos infiernos de la Patria en los que se intercambian los gritos de los condenados por el desagüe de las tuberías y las risas estridentes de los demonios por el ruido del petróleo crudo que arde en los fogones del agua caliente. Ese mundo en desorden necesita un final para que reverdezca la creación.
