In for-profit organizations, stakeholders are including its shareholders, employees, managers, customers and so on. Not-for-profit organizations and for-profit business have different purposes of existing, and they also have different methods of development. For-profit-organizations are aimed to make interests for its shareholders, and interests are the power of development, however, these not-for-profit organizations are mean to help other people, and it has no intension of making profits. Understanding how stakeholder management differs between for-profit businesses and not-for-profit organizations, can provide better suggestions to its managers, and improve its working performance. This essay illustrated the existing issue of not-for-profit organizations, which is the poor service quality when comparing to the for-profit business, and this essay also present the roots of this weakness, which are the demands are much more than supplies, many not-for-profit organizations are in the situation of monopoly (Bruce, 1995), staffs are lack of service ability, and the psychology factor. Based on these causes, this essay provides solutions and suggestions in respectively.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125586653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper Cobb-Douglas production function, 6×6 bordered Hessian matrix, and 6×6 Jacobian are operated to make the study meaningful and interesting. Every firm wants to achieve a maximum profit, but achievement of profit maximization is not an easy process. A firm must be watchdog in every step of production, inventory, distribution, and management for attaining optimum result. In the twenty first century global economy faces serious complexities due to political unrest and war among the nations, also for abnormal natural calamities due to global warming. Therefore, efficient and wise decisions are necessary for the sustainability of the industrial firms.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128224531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper discusses government countermeasures and measures in natural disaster emergency management, public health emergency management and information intervention management, and summarises and analyses them. In July 2021, a significant rainstorm and flooding disaster occurred in Zhengzhou, causing substantial damage to the area and attracting national attention. However, the development of emergency management and intelligence intervention in emergencies has gradually become chaotic, with problems such as “slow updates”, “one-sided reporting” and “low quality”; this has put massive pressure on the handling of intelligence information and online public opinion. Therefore, it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to explore the management of information interventions in emergency management of emergencies. Taking the “Zhengzhou 7.20” incident as the object of study, this paper uses literature analysis and case study methods to explore the shortcomings of the Zhengzhou municipal government in emergency management and information intervention, as well as the serious social losses and negative social impacts caused by the incident. The paper uses crisis theory, life cycle theory, coordination theory and membrane technology to analyse the emergency management and information intervention in this emergency. In response to the problems encountered in the Zhengzhou incident and the reasons for the shortcomings of information intervention in emergency management, corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for improvement are put forward. Moreover, suggestions and model diagrams are given on how to build a perfect information system, hoping to provide some reference values for better-solving emergency events in the future.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123860106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relationship between these two terminologies has witnessed a mayhem in recent past. Some of the scholars believe that focusing on standardization can lead to lack of innovation whereby some of them believe that standardization and innovation should complement each other to get fruitful outcome. This paper examines the various aspects pertaining to standardization. From the intensive literature review, we have found that standardization forms the basis and facilitator for innovation. Hence organizations need to understand that standards are to be followed for achieving innovation. Future studies can be done to know about the level of awareness what organizations have on standardization and innovation.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131513178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research thesis aims to employ bibliometric analysis to provide a comprehensive examination of global contributions and contemporary keyword trends in the field of SCM technology within the EU. Using the Web of Science database, a systematic search was conducted, resulting in a total of 3,173 relevant articles. Bibliometric Analysis and VOSviewer (VOS) were employed to analyze the research landscape. The analysis shows that although this topic is based on the European Union, the scientific productivity and influence on the topic from China, Britain and the United States are higher than that of many EU countries. The European Journal of Operational Research emerged as the most influential journal in terms of both productivity and impact. Affiliations primarily consisted of universities, with a significant contribution from five universities showing consistent growth in research productivity. The results of Network visualization and Thematic Map analysis results of keywords show that technology-based red keyword clustering is very important for the research in this field, including demand response, microgrids, algorithms, price, policies, simulation and so on. This analysis highlights the importance of technology-related topics in the supply chain of EU retailers.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129781459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research design was descriptive survey. The instruments used in collecting data were questionnaire and personal interview. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the analysis showed that microfinance banks services impacted the development of small scale enterprises. It was found that microfinance banks do not carry out adequate awareness campaign programme in order to increase patronage. It was found that most small scale entrepreneurs who procure loans from microfinance banks hardly put it to use in growing their businesses. It was recommended that microfinance banks should create adequate public awareness campaigns especially utilizing the electronic media. Also, microfinance banks should review the requirement for granting loans to small scale enterprises. The study recommended that microfinance banks should have task force or teams to monitor how the loan granted to any small scale entrepreneur are being utilized.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130230017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Acquiring resources is the process of securing team members, equipment, materials or other resources required to deliver the project. Resources are people, equipment, materials, money, or anything else that the University of Bamenda needs in order to carry out all of the activities that have been planned. The University of Bamenda is public entity and therefore it follows the procurement code of Cameroon, which can bring in delays in the process due to administrative procedures. In this study we used the primary data collection technique particularly the use of interview though with limitations in the sample size. The study used descriptive statistics such as frequency tables, bar charts and pie charts in presenting the data. The study concluded that the University of Bamenda uses the public contracts procurement code to acquire material resources which are financed either by the MINESUP or by the University funds. Resources such as human are acquired by recruitment and financial resources acquired through the payment of fees (tuition and medical).","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"77 8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128090432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the research question, the author conducts a literature review of the development of the UK film industry, the impact of social media and film criticism on the film industry. To evaluate film reviews, sentiment analysis, which can efficiently convert text into structured data, is utilized in the project. In the methodology and the case study, the method of constructing the VADER model and the SVM model with the process including data processing, modelling, result correctness verification, and model evaluation are expounded and shown. Finally, the correctness of the two models is verified and the model output is visualized for analysis. The conclusion of the project is as follows: (1) Responding to the inquiry: In action films, the plot is the aspect that the audience pays the most attention to, but first the actors and music, and finally the director. (2) When compared to the experimental findings of Wang et al. (2020a), the project came to different conclusions, presumably as a result of the project’s limited access to movies and the change in the data processing approach. (3) Given that the two models employed in this research did well in the evaluation, they can be effectively applied to help production firms raise the caliber of action movies. (4) The models in the research can be easily developed and used to other domains because film review analysis can be compared with film reviews from other industries. However, some restrictions are also brought up, which offers suggestions for further work.","PeriodicalId":310548,"journal":{"name":"Frontiers in Management Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131366028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
