In the algorithm, the model probabilities, model-conditioned state estimation and its covariance are fused in fusion centre of this algorithm based on fuzzy weighted method after track association is finished, then the overall state estimation and its covariance can be obtained. The fused model probabilities is feed backed to all sonsors, so uniform and more accurate grid adaptation can be carried out. Validity and correctness of the algorithm is justified by computer simulation.","PeriodicalId":309902,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Multimedia and Signal Processing","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128913413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome such drawbacks, a SDCT method was proposed in the paper. First, several 3-D matrix operation methods were defined, and the transformation basic matrix was build. Then, the operation principle of 3-D SDCT was described in detail. Finally, the 3-D SDCT operational performance was described. The theoretical analysis shows that the SDCT makes 3-D DCT succinct to express, easy to comprehend and convenient to operate.","PeriodicalId":309902,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Multimedia and Signal Processing","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124552661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It applies LDPC codes to the productcoding scheme, and performs the decoding operationiteratively between the two component codes. Besides, to boostthe decoding performance, a linear extrinsic informationnormalization (EIN) method is also devised, which greatlyreduces the problem of belief propagation distortion ofextrinsic information after message interleaving. Altogether,the decoding performances of Turbo-LDPC codes are muchhigher than those of the original LDPC codes undercomparable computational complexities. Compared to blockturbo code combined with BCH codes, the proposed Turbo-LDPC code also has much better decoding performance as wellas lower computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":309902,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Multimedia and Signal Processing","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124583217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method operates by object recognition and awareness of interest by gaze tracking. Our research is novel in the following three ways compared to previous research. First, in order to track the gaze position accurately, we designed a wearable eyeglasses type device for capturing the eye image using a near-infrared (NIR) camera and illuminators. Second, in order to achieve object recognition in the frontal view, which represents the facial gaze position in the real world, an additional wide view camera is attached to the wearable device. Third, for the rapid feature extraction of the objects in the wide view camera, we use the speeded-up robust features (SURF) algorithm, which is robust to deformations such as image rotation, scale changes, and occlusions. The experimental results showed that we obtained a gaze tracking error of only 1.98 degrees and successful matching results of object recognition.","PeriodicalId":309902,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Multimedia and Signal Processing","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128529587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the traditional generalized Hough transform may not make the vote focus to one point when the image has a high-level noise. As a result, the object positioning is not very precise, or even wrong. It makes the Hough Transform can't be used in strong noisy image or complex object background on this condition. In this paper, we apply fuzzy set theory to generalized Hough transform and use a new method to process strong noisy image. The method regards the unfocused area not just as some simple point but a \"fuzzy voting point\"-a fuzzy area. Consequently, the fuzzy set theory can be used to describe the \"fuzzy voting point\". By constructing a new subjection function, we can calculate a cut set and use it as weight to optimize the position of the reference points. The experiments show that this method can get more accurate and robust object position than traditional method in shape detection from high-level noise image.","PeriodicalId":309902,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Multimedia and Signal Processing","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127442936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
