Shang, Shengdun Zhao, Yajin Shen","doi":"10.1109/ICIEA.2008.4582620","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIEA.2008.4582620","url":null,"abstract":"Considering nonlinear magnetization characteristics of a switched reluctance motor (SRM), this paper presents a nonlinear model of SRM based on the integration of least square support vector machine (LSSVM) and adaptive genetic algorithm (AGA), known as LSSVM-AGA. The real-valued AGA is applied to optimize the parameters of LSSVM, and then the LSSVM using the optimal parameters forms a very efficient mapping structure for the nonlinear SRM. The hybrid method for modeling SRM is tested through sufficient sample data to verify its validation and feasibility. The sample data comprise flux linkage, current and rotor position, which obtained from the experimental SRM by the dc-excitation method. The forecasted data of the SRM model with LSSVM-AGA are compared with measured data, and error analyses are given to determine performances of the model. The manufacturing system is modelled as a new queueing system based on the failure rate of products, in which the products may have quality problems and need to be repaired in each service station. It is assumed that the product order arrives according to a Poisson process. In each service station, there is only one server (machines) with exponentially distributed processing time, in which the service rate (capacity) is controllable. The maintenance time of manufacturing and assembly operations is exponentially distributed. By using the total probability decomposition and Markov process method, the Queue Length Distribution, the recursion expression of the equilibrium distribution and the mean waiting time are obtained. The machine produces one type of product and upon each breakdown, an action is chosen between repairs and replace. If the machine is to be repaired, then an imperfect repair is undertaken. If not, the machine is replaced by a new identical one. The decision variables of the system are the repair/replacement and production policies. The objective of the control problem is to find decision variables that minimize the total incurred costs over an infinite planning horizon. A semi-Markov decision process (SMDP), is used to determine the optimal repair/replacement and production policies. A three phase induction machine can be used to generate single phase supply at constant voltage and frequency if the electrical load is maintained constant at its terminals. A prototype model of single phase self excited induction generator is developed such that the load on the SEIG remains constant despite change in the consumer load. The developed prototype model is cost effective, reliable, flexible and capable of network based application for remote configuration with TCP/IP stack. Unified Modeling Language has been a software modeling standard. Sequence diagrams of UML can not describe the polymorphism, which leads to lack sequence diagram metrics to guide the polymorphism methods test cases generation. An approach is proposed to formalize polymorphism sequence diagrams and generate test case. According to class constraints and Satisfying Set rules, the approach got the Class Sets of Polymorphism Methods. The approach transformed sequence diagrams into the Polymorphism Class Object Method Acyclic Graph. Utilizing the Depth First Search, the approach automatically generated sequence diagram test cases. The approach availability was verified by an example analysis. The results show that the approach can measure the polymorphic methods and generate sequence diagram test cases to test polymorphism methods. In this paper, we present a novel adaptive fuzzy median filter to the restoration of salt & pepper impulse noise-corrupted image, which is particularly effective at removing highly impulsive noise. First a fuzzy estimation phase is based on the calculation of the sum of eight direction gradient values (for each color component), then an extensive window is selected for the best tradeoff between noise suppression and detail preservation. The proposed filter has demonstrated preferable performance in suppressing different noise ratio of color image noise from 10% to 90% noise ratio. The standard recursive least squares (RLS) has the fast rate of convergence and is not sensitive to variations in the eigenvalue spread of the correlation matrix of the input vector, however, the tracking performance of RLS is limited in nonstationary condition. State space recursive least squares (SSRLS) technique allows the designers to choose an appropriate model to describe the information of system, so it can track the time-varying system. Considering the unbalance faults in power system, the complex voltage vector model formed by alphabeta - transformation is used as the frequency estimation model. On the other hand, the exponent-smoothing technique can reduce the errors caused by noise and oscillatory, so it is natural to use the exponent-smoothing technique to adjust the phase estimated by SSRLS. Strategy about fault processing of feeder automation system based on multi-agent is analyzed through experiments done in laboratory.
