This was the challenge of an action at the Nilza TavaresDias library of the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company of the State of Minas Gerais (EMATER-MG), in Brazil, deactivated in 2018. Since 2020, the inventory work for the proper disposal of the collection was started. For this purpose, it was necessary to develop the work methodology, as its base for recording and physical restructuring of the library for the activities’development. Contani, Meissane Andressa da Costa Leão","doi":"10.21747/21836671/pag19a3","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21747/21836671/pag19a3","url":null,"abstract":"In view of the recurring disasters,that put archival collections at risk,and the complex nature of addressing this issue, especially given the limited financial resources allocated to these sectors, we propose a method to assist managers of archival institutions or sectors in prioritizing actions to prevent the loss of documentary heritage and institutional memory. We utilized the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) multicriteria method in conjunction with the integrated Fine-Mosler model to develop this method. The proposed approach is exemplified through the central archives of two public agencies. Carvalho","doi":"10.21747/21836671/pag19a2","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21747/21836671/pag19a2","url":null,"abstract":"A study of the organic-functional structure of the Superior Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP), since its integration into the Polytechnic Institute of Porto until today, for which a brief historical framework was conducted and the survey of its organic structure in order to confirm whether the document production in ISCAP is organized according to archival criteria, through the analysis of production, preservation and disposal of information by the institution, focusing on its Management Bodies and its Services. It results from an exploratory and bibliographic research. As a result, it isfoundedthe possibility and potential of Interactive Epistemography as an ethical and universal practice to represent and organize information items based on the participation of the information retrieval systemuser, both as classifier and user. It focuses on the perspective of informational items classified from people with different worldviews to the detriment of a small portion of scientific authorities. The work routine of the niche is also observed in order to verify the existence of a symbiotic relationship with Librarianship. With this, it is proposed as a main objective to investigate how editorial iconography is established to the librarian's profile, highlighting, in turn, the contributions of librarianship praxis to the development of the iconographic market. The study has an exploratory character, a quantitative-qualitative approach and the procedures adopted were the bibliographic research and the application of a survey. The research presented the dynamics belonging to thesphere of editorial iconography and identified congruence with the activities equivalent to the practices developed by the librarian's know-how. Castro","doi":"10.21747/21836671/pag17a9","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21747/21836671/pag17a9","url":null,"abstract":"Considering the narratives of the printed newspapers and the career path of Edson Nery da Fonseca, the study here outlined presents the stage of narratives in newspapers about professionalevents in the field of librarianry in the life of the librarian and teacher. The pages of the Brazilian newspapers, as well as some opinion columns he wrote, are taken for evidence. From the methodological point of view, the study arises from an interpretative, exploratory and documentary perspective based on bibliography. For this research, it becomes notoriousthat newspapers guide our look as a documentary source used to analyze parts of professional events in the life of the respective writer, poet andteacher. The results indicate fragments of newspapers, which in our view are news that deserve to be highlighted by Edson Nery da Fonseca's memorablecontribution to the Brazilian librarianship, but that by looking at newspapers, one can evaluate these highlights about other news that mark his professional path. On this, we highlight how newspapers can be used in various points of the narrated protagonism. It is concluded that Edson Nery da Fonseca was ahead of his time. Loving with books, lover of librarianship. Allow ourselves to also say \"controversial\". As well as a prolific author, Ranganathan was a charismatic figure, and the knowledge of his life contributes to a better understanding of the committed, thorough, and meticulous character of his work. Records Management in the theoretical field of Archival Science has become one of the main supports for document organization, facilitating the preservation of produced documents, rationalizing their storage, and making access to archival information more efficient. In this perspective, the objective was to observe how the theme of Records Management is presented in university programs in Archival Science in Brazil. Research was carried out with a basic nature, a quali-quantitative approach, with emphasis on quantitative data collected inthe Political Projects of Programs, having the support of the documental and bibliographic research method to understand how Records Management and its theoretical and practical approaches are being taught in university programs.
