A estrutura orgânico-funcional do Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto (ISCAP) desde a sua integração no Instituto Politécnico do Porto: estudo de caso

A study of the organic-functional structure of the Superior Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP), since its integration into the Polytechnic Institute of Porto until today, for which a brief historical framework was conducted and the survey of its organic structure in order to confirm whether the document production in ISCAP is organized according to archival criteria, through the analysis of production, preservation and disposal of information by the institution, focusing on its Management Bodies and its Services. The quadripolar method was used, within the scope of Information Science, based on four poles: the epistemological pole, which constitutes the scientific paradigm, a superior instance imbricated in the theoretical and institutional apparatus, origin of scientific and informational knowledge; the theoretical pole, where the hypothesis, the study objectives, literature review, active documents, regulations, statutes and organizational charts are included; the technical pole, which covers all the technical procedures to be carried out for the study: documentary research, data collection techniques, interview script, questionnaire development, document research; and the morphological pole, where the content analysis of textual documents, quantitative and qualitative treatment of interview and questionnaire data, conclusions and proposed improvements are included.
