Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat kualitas spermatozoa sapi Simmental pada pengencer tris kuning telur yang berasal dari tiga jenis unggas dengan variasi waktu equilibrasi. Semen ditampung menggunakan vagina buatan dari 2 ekor sapi Simmental dari BIB Tuah Sakato, Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat. Penampungan dilakukan pagi hari, 1 x seminggu selama 10 minggu. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor. Faktor pertama Jenis kuning telur yang digunakan (Puyuh, Ayam, dan Itik) dan faktor kedua adalah waktu equilibrasi (2, 3 dan 4 jam). Titik optimum ditentukan dengan uji regresi. Parameter diukur setelah thawing meliputi motilitas, viabilitas, abnormalitas, membrane plasma utuh dan recovery rate. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan kuning telur asal ternak ayam menghasilkan motilitas 65.33%, viabilitas 67.7%, abnormalitas 15%, MPU 50% dan nilai recovery rate 87.11%, kuning telur itik menghasilkan motilitas 67%, viabilitas 72%, abnormalitas 12%, MPU 54%, dan recovery rate 89.5% dan kuning telur puyuh menghasilkan motilitas 65.00%, viabilitas 70.67%, abnormalitas 13.33%, MPU 51.33% dan nilai recovery rate 86.67%. Kesimpulan penggunaan telur itik dalam pengencer tris pada spermatozoa sapi Simmental dengan waktu equilibrasi 2 jam lebih baik dari waktu equilibrasi 3 dan 4 jam. (The quality of Simmental cattle sperm in TRIS diluent with different egg yolks and equilibration times) ABSTRAK. Aim of this research was to conduct the quality of sperm Simmental bull in egg yolk tris diluent from three types of poultry with variations in the equilibration time. Semen is collected using an artificial vagina from 2 Simmental cows from BIB Tuah Sakato, Payakumbuh, West Sumatra. The semen is carried out in the morning, once a week for 10 weeks. The experiment was design with two factor Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor was the type of egg yolk used and the second factor was the equilibration time. The optimum point is determined by regression. Parameters measured after thawing included motility, viability, abnormalities, intact plasma membrane and recovery rate. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kualitas fisik (warna, aroma, tekstur,) serta sifat fisik (kerapatan, berat jenis, kadar air) wafer dengan perbedaan komposisi substrat (substitusi daun indigofera/DI dengan silase daun pepaya/SDP) dan kemasan berbeda. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) berfaktor (4x4), 3 ulangan digunakan pada penelitian ini. Faktor H merupakan komposisi substrat (substitusi DI dengan SDP) yaitu, H1= SDP 0% + DI 30%; H2= SDP 2% + DI 28%; H3= SDP 4% + DI 26%; H4 = SDP 6% + DI 24%; faktor N adalah jenis kemasan, N0 = tanpa dikemas; N1= plastik; N2= kertas; N3= karung goni. Kualitas fisik (warna, aroma, tekstur) dan sifat fisik (kadar air, berat jenis, kerapatan) wafer merupakan parameter yang diukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interaksi (P0,01) antara komposisi substrat dan jenis kemasan memengaruhi aroma dan tekstur wafer. Komposisi substrat (P0,01) sangat nyata memengaruhi berat jenis dan aroma wafer. Jenis kemasan (P0,01) sangat nyata memengaruhi kualitas fisik (aroma, warna, tekstur) dan sifat fisik (kadar air). Substitusi 28% DI dengan 2% SDP pada wafer yang dikemas dengan karung goni menghasilkan tekstur wafer terbaik (tidak berlendir, tekstur padat dan kasar dan skor 3,44) dan substitusi 24% DI dengan 6% SDP yang dikemas dengan karung goni menghasilkan aroma wafer terbaik (skor 3,46 aroma khas wafer). (Effect of substitution of indigofera leaves with papaya leaf silage and different types of packaging on the quality and physical properties of wafers) ABSTRACT. The aims of this study to determine the quality of physical (aroma, color, texture) and the properties of physical (compactness, density, moisture content) of wafers with substrate composition (substitution of indigofera leaves/IL with papaya leaf silage/PLS) and different packaging. The study used a factored completely randomized design (CRD) (4x4) with 3 replications. The H factor is the composition of the substrate (substitution of IL with PLS), namely, H1= PLS 0% + IL 30% H2= PLS 2% + IL 28%; H3= PLS 4% + IL 26%; H4 = PLS 6% + IL 24%; factor N is the type of packaging, N0 = no packaging; N1= plastic; N2= paper; N3 = gunny sack. Parameters measured were quality of physical (color, texture, aroma) and properties of physical (specific gravity, density and moisture content) of wafers. The results showed that the interaction between the type of packaging and the composition of the substrate (P0.01) affected the texture and aroma of wafers. Composition of substrate significantly (P0.01) affected the density and aroma of wafers. The type of packaging significantly (P0.01) affected the physical quality (aroma, color, texture) and physical properties (moisture content). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara ukuran tubuh linier dengan bobot badan domba Texel dan Awassi. Materi penelitian adalah 35 ekor domba yang terdiri dari 20 ekor domba Texel betina umur 1-1,5 tahun dan 15 ekor domba Awassi betina umur 2 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dengan melakukan pengukuran ukuran linear tubuh dan penimbangan bobot badan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah lingkar dada (LD), panjang badan (PB), tinggi pundak (TP), dan bobot badan (BB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara LD dan PB dengan BB pada domba Texel (P0,01). Sementara itu, TP memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan BB pada domba Texel (P0,05). Nilai korelasi dari yang tertinggi sampai yang terendah yaitu 0,82; 0,64; 0,48. Pada domba Awassi terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara LD dan TP dengan BB domba Awassi (P0,01). Sedangkan PB memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan BB domba Awassi (P0,05). Nilai korelasi dari yang tertinggi sampai yang terendah yaitu 0,89; 0,63; 0.73. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa ukuran linear tubuh pada domba Texel dan Awassi seperti LD, PB, dan TP memiliki hubungan positif dengan BB. (Relationship between linear body measurements and body weight of Texel sheep and Awassi sheep) ABSTRAK. The aim of this research was to find the relationship between linear body measurements and body weight of Texel and Awassi sheep. The research material was 35 sheep consisting of 20 female Texel sheep aged 1-1,5 years and 15 female Awassi sheep aged 2 years. The method used in this research is observation by measuring body linear size and weighing body weight. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The variables observed in this study were chest girth (CG), body length (BL), shoulder height (TP), and body weight (BW).The results showed that the very significant relationship between CG and BL with BW in Texel ewes (P0.01). Meanwhile, BH had a significant relationship with BW in Texel ewes (P0,05). The correlation values from the highest to the lowest, which is 0,82; 0,64; 0,48. In Awassi sheep there is a very significant relationship between CG and TP with BW Awassi ewes (P0,01). Meanwhile, TP had a significant relationship with the BW of Awassi ewes (P0.05). The correlation value from the highest to the lowest, which is 0.89; 0.63; 0.73. Bunting semu pada kelinci dapat terjadi karena adanya induksi secara hormonal dan stimulasi fisik yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan pada morfologi saluran reproduksi. Salah satu metode induksi bunting semu adalah melalui injeksi GnRH. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi perubahan terhadap anatomi dan histologi saluran reproduksi pada kelinci lokal bunting semu yang diinduksi dengan penyuntikan GnRH. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan sembilan ekor kelinci betina lokal, berumur 1-2 tahun dengan bobot badan 1,8-2,2 kg. Kelinci yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok perlakuan (n=3) yakni K1, K2, dan K3. Kelompok K1 (kontrol negatif), diinjeksi dengan 0,1 ml NaCl fisiologis tanpa perkawinan; K2 (kontrol positif), kelinci diinduksi dengan 100 IU PMSG, tiga hari kemudian dikawinkan dan diinjeksi 75 IU hCG; dan K3, kelinci diinduksi dengan penyuntikan 5 µg GnRH secara intravena. Pada hari ke-8 setelah perlakuan seluruh kelinci disembelih lalu saluran reproduksi diambil untuk pengamatan morfologi dan morfometri oviduk, kornua uteri, serviks uteri dan vagina lalu diproses secara histoteknik dan diwarnai dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin dan eosin untuk pengamatan histologi dan histomorfometri. Panjang oviduk, kornua, dan vagina kelinci memperlihatkan perbedaan yang nyata (P0,05) antar K1 dan K2 dengan K3. Ketebalan lapisan muskularis ampula, lamina propia isthmus, lamina muskularis isthmus, tunika serosa isthmus memperlihatkan perbedaan yang nyata (P0,05) antara K1 dan K2 dengan K3. Tebal lapisan endometrium kornua uterus K2 berbeda sangat nyata (P0,05) dengan K3, namun tidak berbeda nyata (P0,05) dibandingkan K1. Lapisan serosa serviks uteri K1 dan K2 berbeda sangat nyata (P0,05) dengan K3. Histomorfometri vagina kelinci menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata (P0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa induksi GnRH tidak menyebabkan perubahan morfologi dan morfometri saluran reproduksi kelinci lokal pada hari ke-8 setelah induksi. Pseudopregnancy in rabbits can occur due to hormonal induction and physical stimulation that can cause changes in the morphology of the reproductive tract. One method of hormonal induction is GnRH injection. This study aimed to determine the anatomical and histological changes of the reproductive tract in pseudo pregnant local rabbits induced by injection of GnRH. Kebutuhan domestik daging sapi dan kerbau sebagian besar disuplai dari ternak lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah karakterisasi produktivitas sapi Bali, sapi PO, dan kerbau serta nilai ternak di pasar tradisional berdasarkan kondisi ternak hidup, karkas dan non karkas serta komponen karkas dan non karkas. Penelitian ini menggunakan 17 ekor sapi lokal dan kerbau jantan, meliputi sapi Bali 6 ekor, sapi PO 6 ekor, dan kerbau 5 ekor dengan umur I2-I4. Data dianalisis menggunakan analysis of covariance dengan prosedur general linear model dan least square mean. Peubah yang diamati meliputi bobot potong, bobot dan persentase karkas, bobot komponen karkas, bobot dan persentase non karkas, bobot komponen non karkas, serta nilai ternak di pasar tradisional di daerah Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ternak lokal dengan produktivitas karkas dan daging tertinggi yaitu sapi Bali, diikuti sapi PO dan kerbau. Persentase karkas sapi Bali 50,39%, sapi PO 49,96%, dan kerbau 46,41%. Sapi Bali memiliki persentase total daging tertinggi yaitu 72,23%, diikuti sapi PO 69,54%, dan kerbau 67,61%. Namun, kerbau memiliki hasil non karkas tertinggi, diikuti sapi PO dan sapi Bali. Berdasarkan bobot karkas dan komponen karkas, sapi Bali memiliki nilai ternak tertinggi, sedangkan sapi PO memiliki nilai ternak yang tinggi pada non karkas. Sapi Bali dan sapi PO memiliki nilai ternak lebih tinggi dari kerbau. Sapi dan kerbau akan mempunyai nilai tambah tertinggi pada saat diolah menjadi komponen karkas dan komponen non karkas. (Productivity and economic value of local cattle and buffalo in traditional markets) ABSTRAK. Domestic beef and buffalo supply mainly comes from local livestock. The purpose of this study was to compare the productivity of Bali cattle, PO cattle, and buffaloes, and their economic values for traditional markets based on live weight, carcass weight, and carcass and non-carcass component weights. This study used 17 heads of local bull and male buffaloes, comprising 6 Bali cattle, 6 PO cattle and 5 local buffaloes aged I2-I4. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance, with the general linear model and least square mean procedures. Parameters observed included slaughter weight, weight and percentages of carcass, carcass components, non-carcass, non-carcass components, and their prices according to Bogor traditional market. The results showed that the local cattle with the highest productivity and meat yield were Bali cattle, followed by PO cattle and buffalo. The carcass percentage of Bali cattle were 50.39%, PO cattle were 49.96%, and buffalo were 46.41%. Bali cattle produced the highest meat yield 72.23%, followed by PO cattle 69.54%, and buffalo 67.61%. However, buffalo had the highest non-carcass productivity, followed by PO and Bali cattle. Based on carcass and its component weights, Bali cattle had the highest economic value, whereas PO cattle had the highest value on non-carcass weights. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan tepung ceker ayam dengan persentase berbeda pada ransum terhadap produktivitas kambing Peranakan Etawa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dengan 3 kelompok kambing yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan berat badan. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 (kontrol tanpa penambahan tepung ceker ayam), R1(penambahan tepung ceker ayam sebanyak 2,5%), R2 (penambahan tepung ceker ayam sebanyak 5%), R3 (penambahan tepung ceker ayam sebanyak 7,5%) dan R4 (penambahan tepung ceker ayam sebanyak 10%). Parameter pada penelitian ini meliputi produksi susu, pertambahan bobot badan, volume ambing, dan konsumsi pakan. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap pemeliharaan, dan tahap pengambilan data. Data yang telah diperoleh di analisis dengan metode analisis sidik ragam (Anova). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penambahan tepung ceker ayam pada perlakuan R2(5%) meningkatkan konsumsi pakan dan berpengaruh terhadap produksi susu dan juga kelompok dari pertambahan berat badan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap volume ambing. (Effect of addition chicken claw flour with different percentage on rations to productivity of PE goats) ABSTRAK. This research was conducted to examine the effect of adding chicken claw flour with different proportions on the productivity of Etawa crossbreed goats. The research used in this study was a randomized block design consisting of 5 treatments and 3 groups of design based on body weight. The treatments consisted of R0 (control without adding chicken claw flour), R1 (addition of chicken claw flour as much as 2.5%), R2 (addition of chicken claw flour as much as 5%), R3 (addition of chicken claw flour as much as 7.5 %) and R4 (addition of chicken claw flour by 10%). Parameters in this study include milk production, body weight gain, udder volume, and feed consumption. The research stages start from the preparation stage, the maintenance stage, and the data collection stage. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using the method of analysis of variance (Anova). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Purposive sampling dengan menggunakan data recording keturunan 7 pejantan sapi (684, Adikara/160726, 685, Kelesap/160725, Muntahai/16011001, Banteng/934, 386) untuk bobot badan (BB), tinggi badan (TB), panjang badan (PB) dan lingkar dada (LD) kelahiran tahun 2014-2020. Analisis data dengan koreksi umur 1 tahun ke 365 hari, nilai heritabilitas, nilai pemuliaan, dan korelasi rangking nilai pemuliaan. Hasil analisis nilai heritabilitas bobot badan dan ukuran tubuh sapi Madura umur 1 tahun tergolong kategori sedang hingga tinggi yaitu 0,57 (BB), 0,48 (TB), 0,83 (PB), dan 0,61 (LD). Sebanyak 42,85% bobot badan dan panjang badan pejantan sapi memiliki nilai pemuliaan positif, sedangkan pada tinggi badan dan lingkar dada memiliki nilai pemuliaan positif sebesar 28,57%. Korelasi rangking nilai pemuliaan bobot badan dengan ukuran tubuh sapi Madura umur 1 tahun tergolong kategori tinggi yaitu 0,86 (BB-TB), 0,68 (BB-PB) dan 0,86 (BB- LD). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pejantan sapi di UPT Pembibitan dan Kesehatan Hewan Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki nilai pemuliaan positif pada bobot badan dan ukuran tubuh adalah pejantan Ke lesap/160725 dan Adikara/160726 sehingga pejantan tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai tetua dalam program seleksi untuk meningkatkan mutu genetik dan menghasilkan sapi unggul. (Evaluation of sire breeding values on Madura cattle based on body weight and body measurement of their offspring at one-year-age) ABSTRAK. This study aimed to evaluate Madura cattle by using the method of estimating breeding value based on body weight and body measurement. The sampling was carried out by Purposive sampling using data recording offspring the 7 cattle (684, Adikara/160726, 685, Kelesap/160725, Muntahai/16011001, Banteng/934, 386) for Body Weight (BW), Withers Height (WH), Body Length (BL), and Chest Girth (CG) of born in 2014-2020. The data were analyzed by correction of 1 year to 365 days of age, heritability value, breeding value, and correlation ranking of breeding values. The results of the analysis of heritability values of body weight and body measurement of Madura cattle at 1 year of age rating on medium to high category were 0,57 (BW), 0,48 (WH), 0,83 (BL), and 0,61 (CG). A total of 42,85% body weight and body length of cattle at 1 year age have a positive value, while the body height and chest girth has a positive breeding value of 28,57%. The purpose of this study was to examine replacement rice bran (RB) with the mixture of Aloe vera flour (AVF) + sunflower seed flour (SFS) within the fermented feed of which with the addition of other feed ingredients used to replace 25% of the commercial diet on carcass yields, internal organs, and abdominal fat of broilers. The study was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry, the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. The study used 100 chicks strain Cobb applied in a Completely Randomized Design with sub-samplings consisting of 5 treatments, 4 replicates, and 2 sub-samples. The treatments were 100% CP511 (control+) and 4 FF-based diets: FF3% RB (control-), FF3% AVF, FF3% SFS, and FF3% AVF + 3% SFS. The results of this study showed that replacing rice bran with AVS and SFS either exclusively or in combination in equal amount 3% each did not significantly affect (P0.05) the percentages of the carcass, cut-ups, internal organs, and abdominal fat of broilers. In conclusion, either Aloe vera or sunflower seed flour could be incorporated 3% each in a single source or in combination to replace rice bran within the fermented feed. without adverse effects on carcass yields and internal organs as well as abdominal fats of broilers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati pengaruh penggantian dedak padi (DP) dengan campuran tepung lidah buaya (TLB) dan biji bunga matahari (TBM) dalam bahan pakan fermentasi yang tersusun dan beberapa bahan pakan lain yang digunakan untuk menggantikan 25% ransum komersil terhadap berat dan persentase karkas, organ dalam, dan lemak abdomen ayam broiler. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP), Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian menggunakan 100 ekor anak ayam broiler strain Cobb. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap sub sampel terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, 4 ulangan, dan 2 sub sampel. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan TLB yang dicampur dengan TBM masing-masing sebanyak 3% tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap berat dan persentase karkas, organ dalam, dan lemak abdomen ayam broiler. Penelitian menggunakan 25 ekor dengan metode IB dosis tunggal dan 25 ekor dengan metode IB dosis ganda. IB menggunakan semen beku sapi Madura yang diproduksi oleh Balai Besar Inseminasi Buatan (BBIB) Singosari, Malang. Teknik deposisi semen adalah 4+ (deep insemination) yaitu pada posisi cornua uteri selanjutnya dilakukan IB dosis tunggal (jam ke-8 setelah menunjukkan tanda-tanda berahi) dan IB dosis ganda (jam ke-2 dan ke-8 setelah menunjukkan tanda-tanda berahi). Akseptor diinjeksi dengan Bio ATP+ merek “Rheinbio” 10 ml per ekor dan pemberian pakan konsentrat merek “Novo NC62” 1 kg per ekor per hari selama tujuh hari setelah IB. Variabel penelitian meliputi Non Return Rate (NRR), Conception Rate (CR), dan Service Per Conception (S/C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IB dosis tunggal menghasilkan nilai NRR 1 sebesar 92%, NRR 2 sebesar 80%, CR sebesar 60%, dan S/C sebesar 1,71. Sedangkan pada IB dosis ganda menghasilkan nilai NRR 1 sebesar 92%, NRR 2 sebesar 84%, CR sebesar 68%, dan S/C sebesar 1,53. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah nilai NRR, CR, dan S/C pada sapi Madura dengan IB dosis ganda lebih baik daripada dengan IB dosis tunggal, dan IB dosis ganda dapat meningkatkan conception rate pada sapi Madura. (The success different of artificial insemination using single and double dosage method of Madura cows) ABSTRAK. This study aims to evaluate the success of AI using methods single and double dosage plus in Madura cows. The study used 25 Madura cow using the AI method single dosage and 25 Madura cow using the AI method double dosage. AI uses frozen semen from Madura cows produced by the Singosari Center for Artificial Insemination. The semen deposition technique is 4+ (deep insemination) in the cornua uteri position then AI implemented with a single dosage (8th hours after showing signs of estrus) and double dosage (2nd and 8th hours after showing signs of estrus). The acceptors were injected with 10 ml of \"Rheinbio'' brand Bio ATP+ per cow and 1 kg of concentrate \"Novo NC62\" brand per cow per day was given for seven days after IB. Research variables include Non Return Rate (NRR), Conception Rate (CR), and Service Per Conception (S/C). The results showed that AI of single dosage had value NRR 1 of 92%, NRR 2 of 80%, CR of 60%, and S/C of 1.71. While AI of double dosage had value NRR 1 of 92%, NRR 2 of 84%, CR of 68%, and S/C of 1.53. Knowledge of farmers about estrus detection is one of the factors that affect fixed-time artificial insemination (AI). This study aims to evaluate the success rate of AI using Y sexing frozen semen based on the estrus character of cattle. Forty-five Limousin Crossed Cows involved in this research with a Body Condition Score of 3-5 (1-9 scale), 1.8-7 years old. Y sexing frozen semen is produced by the Singosari Center for Artificial Insemination using Percoll's Gradient Density Centrifugation method. Observation of estrus character was done before insemination with the deep insemination technique of AI. Artificial insemination was carried out using double doses at the 2nd and 8th hours after estrus. Rheinbio vitamins as BioATP+ are injected after AI. The results showed that the Conception Rate and Pregnancy Rate based on the estrus character was higher as indicated by the red colour of the vulva was 17.78% and 22.22%; very swollen vulva was 20% and 22.22%; abundant cervical mucus was 15.56% and 17.78%, and vaginal temperatures ranging from 38.0-38.5oC was 13.33% and 20%. In conclusion, the low percentage of pregnancy in this study was caused by various factors, mainly the genetic quality, early embryonic efficacy, maintenance management especially feed, and there were cows that experienced reproductive disorders. (Evaluasi keberhasilan inseminasi buatan menggunakan semen beku sexing berdasarkan karakter estrus yang berbeda) ABSTRAK. Pengetahuan peternak mengenai deteksi estrus merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan waktu inseminasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keberhasilan IB menggunakan semen sexing Y berdasarkan karakter estrus ternak. Akseptor yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 45 ekor Sapi Persilangan Limousin dengan BCS 3-5 dan umur berkisar antara 1,8-7 tahun. Semen beku sexing Y merupakan hasil produksi Balai Besar Inseminasi Buatan (BBIB) Singosari menggunakan metode Sentrifugasi Densitas Gradien Percoll (SGDP). Pengamatan karakter estrus dilakukan sebelum inseminasi. Inseminasi Buatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan double dosis pada jam ke-2 dan jam ke-8 dengan teknik deep insemination. Vitamin Rheinbio sebagai BioATP+ diinjeksikan setelah IB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan kebuntingan ditinjau dari nilai conception rate (CR) dan pregnancy rate (PR) berdasarkan karakter estrus ternak lebih tinggi ditunjukkan pada kondisi warna vulva merah merata yaitu 17,78% dan 22,22%; vulva yang sangat bengkak yaitu 20% dan 22,22%; banyak mengeluarkan lendir servik yaitu 15,56% dan 17,78%, serta suhu vagina yang berkisar antara 38,0-38,5oC yaitu 13,33% dan 20%.
