This study used a quantitative approach. The research population was 997 students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang in the class of 2019 and the sampling based on the Slovin formula was 286 students. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of failure fear on academic procrastination. Achievement motivation and self-control had no effect on academic procrastination. Partially, failure fear had no effect on self-control. Partially, achievement motivation had a positive and significant effect on self-control, and self-control was unable to mediate the effect of failure fear and achievement motivation on academic procrastination. Suggestions given from this study include that students are advised to reduce the habit of behaving in academic procrastination starting from the smallest things, and improve their self-control skills so they can behave positively and can make the right decisions.","PeriodicalId":30810,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42030260","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There have been several studies examining tax education, but research on technology-based tax education is still difficult to find. Using an online survey distributed in August – September 2021, data were collected from 106 participants who have or are currently taking online tax brevet. The data is then processed by the PLS-SEM method. This study found that technology and course had a significant effect on student satisfaction, on the other hand, teacher, communication, Covid-19 impact, and sudden change did not have a significant effect. On student involvement, it was found that only motivation had a significant effect, while self-efficacy and anxiety had no significant effect. In this study, student involvement was also indicated to have a significant effect on student satisfaction and learning outcomes. Student satisfaction itself also has an influence on student decisions in the future to continue using online tax brevet technology. To maintain the future preferences of students, tax brevet organizers can increase student motivation with a more interactive learning system.","PeriodicalId":30810,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49540339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research was a survey with a quantitative approach. Purposive sampling was employed and considered only for students who learned English language lessons at eight classes in the Business Administration Department, Politeknik Negeri Bali. Questionnaires focused on the Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), and Behavior Intention (BI) of UTAUT theory. The result of the study indicated that internet technology was prevalent to be used by the students and there was a keen exploration of the English materials in a multimodal perspective that is a combination of technology-based learning materials with various modes, involving audiovisual, pictures, realia, in different formats. The usefulness of the device and the ease of technology used contribute to the use of mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) in learning the English language. The result also revealed the entrepreneur candidates tended to choose MALL with multimodal immersion as a fruitful combination to escalate their English language skills. Policies, subject matter expertise, appropriate pedagogies, and relevant use of technology support are suggested to explore the usefulness of MALL for students in Polytechnic education.","PeriodicalId":30810,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42041392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the 4.0 era, secondary schools need to prepare students to make wise decisions in terms of choosing a college major that suits their future career goals. This research was a quantitative method with data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires to 263 class XII students of SMAN 1 Sambas. Data on graduates who worked not according to the study program showed an increase from 2017 to 2021, namely 60% to 80%. From the results of factor analysis, 7 variables formed 2 factors, namely internal environmental factors with a coefficient value of 61.06% consisting of parents, peers, personality, self-potential, and external environmental factors with a coefficient value of 12.51% consisting of opportunities for work, social environment, and future expectations. Internal environmental factors with a coefficient of 61.06% were the dominant factors that affected student interest in choosing college majors. Thus, the seven variables affected student interest in choosing majors in higher education in the 4.0 era.","PeriodicalId":30810,"journal":{"name":"Dinamika Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43185513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
