The research subjects were students in the Islamic Religious Education program at Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN Samarinda East Kalimantan. The method used was a descriptive qualitative research approach. The technique used observation, interview, and questionnaire instruments. The subjects were 32 students of Islamic Religious Education Program at FTIK IAIN Samarinda. The data analysis was carried out with the model of Miles & Huberman, namely in three steps: data reduction, display and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate d that 1) students and lecturers are actively involved in the face-to-face learning process and online activities on the e-learning website. The results of this research are: 1) school culture becomes an important part in improving education quality. The development of holistic education in Muhammadiyah elementary school using cultural approach. Values, beliefs, and habits are built on the school community’s awareness and will, which is bottom-up in nature. The basis of realizing holistic education in school is the school culture. Positive school culture will make holistic education done well, on the contrary negative school culture will make holistic education difficult to obtained. The elements to Self-efficacy are mastery experience, vicarious experience, social persuasion, affecative physiological states. Creative thinking is ability to find new ideas originally that are surprising to define it, and also valuable in sensitivity, and the factors are fluency, flexibility, originality, sensitivity, and elaboration. Learning at class need self-efficacy and creative thinking based, the both have relation that influence. Researcher will reveal it at writing skill learning. This study aims at investigating the relationship between self-efficacy and creative thinking of university students at writing skill learning. The method uses quantitative with correlation of two variables with paired sample test. The subject of the study is 53 third semester students of Arabic Language Education Department of Arabic Literature Faculty of State University of Malang Indonesia at writing skill class . Its coefficient correlation is 0,799 and p-value 0,000. The result of this study indicates significant correlation between self-efficacy and creative thinking at writing skill learning. The Fact, self-efficacy increased so creative thinking increased much and otherwise. Thus the role of the family in providing education to children is very urgent to be applied in today's society which experiences moral decadence. The concept of religious values in children developed is the values of rabbaniyah and values of insanity. The steps of family involvement in internalizing ethical values in children are carried out through the stages of value transformation, value transactions, value internalization, and transcendalization of benefits by developing aspects of knowing, doing, and being. The element of knowledge is done by giving insight to children about religious values. The point of doing is made by guiding children. The aspect of being is done by providing an example to children. The three processes are not only carried out in schools but also carried out in the family with the guidance of parents. The results showed that the lecturer chose internet authentic material regarding Islamic character values, and he administered an online readability test to gain a reading passage that fits students' abilities. The study was conducted on the third semester students of the 2018/2019 school year with a total sample of 44 students, which were divided into two groups: 22 students for the experimental group and 22 students for the control group. The research approach uses quantitative research with a 2x2 factorial experimental method. Data collecting technique used tests for writing instruments and critical thinking instruments. The data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA. It will not be called education if the student is not in it. To succeed in education (learning), many conditions must be considered; one of which is ethics or manners. In the context of Islamic education, ethics or manners for a student is very important. It is difficult for a student to succeed in education if he is not ethical or civilized.  Even if he succeeded in education or in learning, then his knowledge was not a blessing or not useful for others or a cause of destruction for himself. This paper aims to describe the ethics of a student who is learning according to the perspective of a religious figure so that he is successful in his learning. This paper used documentary techniques. The data of this paper obtained from the recordings of lectures delivered by Kiai Haji Muhammad Zaini during his lifetime and juxtaposed with the book read by him. The convergent parallel of mixed methods was used to explore these issues by involving 52 EFL students of IAIN Samarinda who enrolled the academic essay writing course. The three research instruments; essay writing test, open-ended questionnaire and interview were used in the data collection. The findings of this study revealed that the Indonesian EFL students’ writing ability was good that categorized with the mean score 77.83. However, some of them encounter problems in writing aspects including content, organization, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics. Their reasons in experiencing these problems are not only limited knowledge of writing aspects and comparison and contrast essay itself, but also they had own personal reasons; lack of writing practice, writing dislike, writing anxiety, negative writing perception, low writing motivation, insufficient time given in writing test, and also inadequate teaching writing process taught by their lecturers. Indeed, the teaching writing improvement that involved EFL students and lecturers should be well-integrated in order to alleviate the students’ essay writing problems related to their reasons and to improve their writing ability. However, teacher’s lack of knowledge about questioning taxonomy could become a failure in leading students’ learning. This study investigates questioning strategies, the taxonomy of questions-type, and their application by teacher in advanced prose class, to scaffold students’ learning. Classroom observations, field notes and videotape recording, were employed to collect the data. Findings indicate that among four types of questioning strategies, redirecting was the most frequently used to initiate students’ responses and to probe more into students’ understanding. Other findings show that low-cognitive questions were common. Of those, knowledge-based questions were the most frequently used to confirm students’ understanding of the materials they learnt, but, the higher-level questions were rarely used. It was also found that teacher employed questioning strategies ineffectively to manage the class; insufficient time responded to a complex level of questions; the number of questions created confusion. The data were collected for 6 months starting from compiling proposal in March 2018 to August 2018 in the IAIN Tulungagung campus in the sense of data collection, report preparation, group meetings and most other activities carried out in the Tulungagung and Kediri areas. It involves people who have relevant information about the research theme, they are 46 students from the fourth semester in English majors who answered the pre-observation questionnaire, and post questionnaires but 46 interviewees, consisting of thirty-one women and sixteen men, were interviewed. The data was analysed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The finding revealed that the experienced students of using edmodo affected their readiness to take a part in English Phonology teaching using edmodo as a learning medium.
