The design of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The participants were the gradeeleven of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. The researcher used two classes, where one class (26 students)and the other one (36 students) was as the control group. The instrument for collecting the data washandphone. The research‘s results showed that both male and female characters use language featuresproposed by Lakoff (1975), such as, empty adjectives, hedge, intensifier, hypercorrect grammar, superpolite form, tag question, and emphatic stress, even though the characteristics of color words andquestion intonation have not been found in the characters‘ utterances. The difference between men andwomen‘s speeches is shown clearly through the characteristic of hypercorrect grammar in which malestudents used informal speeches in higher frequency than female students and male students intend tolexical hedges and filler in their conversation than female students and also super polite form malestudents seldom to use it or never used it in their conversation and female students used avoidance ofstrong swear words than male students never used it.. After the data hadbeen analyzed, the Alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and Null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It showsthat t-obtained value is higher than t-table (2.68>1.67). It means that PBL more significant affect on thestudents’ ability in writing descriptive text than without using PBL. Consequently the researchersuggests PBL method to the teacher in learning process especially in teaching writing descriptive text,because PBL is one of teaching method that make the students easier to write a text.","PeriodicalId":307860,"journal":{"name":"The Explora","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129189518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fundamental children’s right for education is offered to children with special needs by special schools.This article aims to explain the importance of inclusive education for children with special needs. This statement is based on the fact that children with special needs do not receive proper education like other normal children. This paper opens an understanding and insight into the rights of every citizen, especially children with special needs, to obtain a proper education. To achieve this goal, the author uses a literature study. The literature study in question is that the author reads and records the results of the study of this topic from various library sources such as books, journals, and other key reports. The results of the study show that many parents and the community think that the implementation of inclusive education is too urgent for children with special needs. Therefore, children with special needs often get less attention and do not get the same education rights as normal children.","PeriodicalId":307860,"journal":{"name":"The Explora","volume":"84 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131001393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
