People with neck pain could be associated with an alteration and deficit of the proprioception of the muscle and neck joint that play a significant role in joint position, postural stability, and motor control of the head and neck. Objective: The purpose of this systematic review is to find out the effectiveness of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in mechanical neck pain. Method: The systematic review access to journal databases such as: PubMed Central (PMC) NCBI, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), ProQuest, Google Scholar, MEDLINE, and the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register in the Cochrane Library. Results: The initial search in 6 databases found a total of 30 articles. Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria 4 articles were used in this systematic review. The application of the muscle energy techniques was applied ranging from 1 time to 8 weeks of intervention. From the 4 reviewed studies concluded that proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation was effective in improving neck range of motion and function in mechanical neck pain. Conclusion: Based on the results of this systematic review it can be concluded that proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is effective in improving pain, pain threshold, range of motion, and functional performance in individual with neck pain. The appropriate articles are still limited to 4 studies, but have good to strong qualities. Method: Experimental research with a group pre-post test design. The number of research samples is 20 people and divided into two groups. Group 1 received Progressive Resistance Exercise (PRE) and standard physiotherapy exercises, while Group 2 received Prorioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and standard physiotherapy exercise, measuring functional ability with WOMAC Test after Total Knee Replacement (TKR).Results: Paired t-test in the two groups with a significance value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05) and independent t-test results in the two groups with a significance value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05) so that the results in the two groups there was a significant increase. Beberapa metode yang dapat menurunkan gejala yang ditimbulkan diantaranya mobilization with movement (MWM), hold relax exercise (HRE) dan active resistance exercise (ARE) dengan mengurangi rasa nyeri dan disabilitas pada sendi bahu serta meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada area bahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan kombinasi MWM dan HRE lebih baik daripada kombinasi MWM dan ARE dalam menurunkan disabilitas bahu pada pasien frozen shoulder idiopatik. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan pre test and post test two group design. Pelaksanaan di klinik Fisioterapi Denpasar pada bulan Januari sampai Februari 2020. Sampel berjumlah 18 orang terdiri dari 11 orang perempuan dan 7 orang laki-laki yang dibagi secara acak dalam 2 Kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok I diberikan kombinasi MWM dan HRE dan Kelompok II diberikan kombinasi MWM dan ARE. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SPADI. Hasil penelitian yaitu kombinasi MWM dan HRE dapat menurunkan disabilitas pada frozen shoulder idiopatik dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05 dengan nilai 74,18 menjadi 50,16, kombinasi MWM dan ARE dapat menurunkan disabilitas pada frozen shoulder idiopatik dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05 dengan nilai 72,61 menjadi 57,86. The efficiency of the jump or explosive power of the lower limb can support the Sport and Fitness Journal E-ISSN: 2654-9182 Volume 9, No.1, Januari 2021: 29-33 30 player to score. Aim: to prove that the combination of static stretching and plyometric training is better than the combination of static stretching and strength training in increasing vertical jumps performance in volleyball players. Method: This was experimental study with randomized pre-test and post-test two group design. Participants for this study was collegiate volleyball player of STIKES Ngudia Husada Madura. Eighteen collegiate participate in this study and randomly divided into 2 groups with each group consist of 9 people. Group I was given a combination of static stretching and strength training while Group II was given a combination of static stretching and plyometric training. The treatment done 3 times a week for 6 weeks with evaluation using the sargent jump test (SJT). Result: Statistical analysis using paired-samples t-test in Group I revealed a mean score before intervention 38.78 ± 3.52 cm and after the intervention is 48.89 ± 6.09 cm with p value = 0.001. While in Group II mean scores before intervention 37, 11 ± 4.01 cm and after the intervention 54.11 ± 2.66 cm with p value <0.001. These results indicate that in each group there was a significant increase in vertical jump performance. Hypothesis different test between Group I and Group II using the independent-samples t-test obtained p value = 0.021. At the time of the menstrual phase is usually accompanied by pain, this complaint is called dysmenorrhea. Pain that is felt can interfere with daily activities. There are several methods that can be given to reduce pain that is felt during menstruation. Among them are abdominal stretching, core strengthening, and pilates exercise methods that aim to reduce pain and increase muscle strength around the abdomen to the pelvis. This study aims to determine which is more effective between the abdominal stretching and core strengthening excercise methods than the abdominal stretching and pilates exercises method in reducing the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea.This study uses an experimental design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The study was conducted at Dwijendra High School Denpasar, Bali with a sample of 28 people who had a primary dysmenorrhea category with moderate to severe pain degrees, divided into 2 treatment groups. Group I was given abdominal stretching and core strengthening exercise, group II was given abdominal stretching and pilates exercises. The measuring instrument used in this study was the Visual Analytical Scale (VAS). Distribution in this study used Wilcoxon and man whitney analysis because the data are not normally distributed.The results in this study used the abdominal stretching and core strengthening exercise reduce the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea with a significant value of p = 0.001 with a median VAS value of 6.29 to 4.79, the abdominal stretching and pilates excercise reduce the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea with a significant value of p = 0.001 with a median VAS value of 5.93 to 4.29. Agility is very important for soccer players to be able to break through and avoid opponent’s obstacles and reduce the risk injury. Agility training is very appropriate for soccer players age 10-12 years with shuttle run training combined with stabilization training in the form of core stability or glutes control. Purpose: to determine whether the combination of shuttle run and core stability is as good as the combination of shuttle run and glutes control in increasing the agility of soccer players in SSB Bali United. Method: This research is an experiment research design with pre and post test group design. The research sample was 22 people, divided into two group. Group I has given a combination of shuttle run and core stability, while Group II has given a combination of shuttle run and glutes control. The frequency of exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Measurement of agility measured a Illinois agility run test. Agility increases if the value after is shorter than the value before training. Result: This study showed that group I increase agility with a significant value of p = 0,01 with agility value of 19.87 ± 0.94 seconds to 15.49 ± 0.78 seconds. Likewise the group II increase with a significant value of p = 0,01 with agility value of 19.50 ± 0.86 second to 15.70 ± 0.75 seconds. Results of the independent t-test there was not difference between group I and Group II, with value before p = 0.358 and after p = 0.531. Tujuan pada penelitian untuk membuktikan pemberian latihan tambahan zig-zag run lebih baik daripada shuttle run dalam meningkatkan kelincahan pemain di Akademi Futsal Opel Lamongan. Penelitian dengan jenis quasi experiment menggunakan pretest and posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 18 pemain di Akademi Futsal Opel Lamongan dan terbagi dalam tiga kelompok perlakuan yang berbeda. Kelompok I diberikan penambahan latihan zig-zag run Kelompok II diberikan penambahan latihan shuttle run dan Kelompok III Kelompok Kontrol dengan hanya mendapatkan latihan dari akademi. Frekuensi latihan 3 kali seminggu selama 7 minggu dengan waktu penambahan latihan 8 menit setiap pertemuan. Pengukuran tingkat kelincahan menggunakan Illinois Agility Run Test. Hasil penelitian pada ketiga kelompok didapatkan rerata kelincahan sebelum zig-zag run adalah 18,34±0,66 detik dan selisih sebelum dan sesudah 3,43±0,20 detik. Rerata kelincahan shuttle run 17,79±0,83 detik dan selisih 2,55±0,31 detik. Rerata kelincahan Kelompok Kontrol 17,89±1,68 detik dan selisih 1,37±0,67 detik. Uji beda rerata peningkatan kelincahan pada Kelompok I, II dan III menggunakan one way ANOVA pada data selisih pre dan posttest ketiga kelompok menunjukkan bahwa p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) antara Kelompok I dengan III, p = 0,002 (p < 0,05) antara Kelompok II dengan III, dan p = 0,023 (p < 0,05) pada Kelompok I dengan II. The application of functional exercise therapy in water has been proven to be effective in increasing the strength of the thigh muscle contractions which are very important in improving the range of motion and function of the patient’s knee joint. This study aims to prove that functional exercises in water are more effective in increasing the strength of the isometric contraction of the thigh muscles compared to exercises on hospital physical therapy’s room. Method: This is an experimental study with a type of randomized pre-posttest control group design, involving 38 post-ACL reconstruction patients as participants. The patients’ age was in the range of 20-50 years, which is divided into two groups by random allocation. Group 1 was given a conventional functional therapy (in a type of functional therapy held at the physical therapy or clinic room, and as a control group), while group 2 was given water functional therapy. The frequency of treatment was 2 times a week for 6 weeks, for 60 minutes at each training session. The strength of the thigh muscles isometric contraction was measured using a sphygmomanometer. Result: As baseline data, the mean of thigh muscles’ isometric contraction strength of Group 1 was 117.37 ± 7.14, and after being given conventional functional therapy was increased to be 133.42 ± 12.47. Whereas in Group 2 the isometric contraction strength of the thigh muscles before the intervention was 121.32 ± 6.83 and after being given functional therapy in water increased to be 140.79 ± 14.55. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference in the isometric contraction’ strength of thigh muscle between before and after intervention in groups I and II with p-value = 0.000. However, the strength of the isometric contraction of the thigh muscles after the intervention between Groups 1 and 2 was no significant difference in statistical tests with p-value = 0.158. Conclusion: The functional therapy in water and conventional functional therapy can significantly increase the strength of thigh muscles’ isometric contraction. ROC and PTT exercises are exercises to increase the strength of the abdominal muscles. The purpose of this study is to prove that ROC training is more effective than PTT training in increasing abdominal muscle strength of male athletes in extracurricular pencak silat at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. This type of true experimental research with randomized pre-test and post-test with control groups design. The subjects of the study were 32 male students in extracurricular pencak silat at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta and were divided into two groups. Group 1 was given ROC training and Group 2 was given PTT training, frequency of the exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Measurement of abdominal muscle strength can be measured using a sit-up test for 30 seconds. The results of the study in both groups obtained the mean abdominal muscle strength before ROC training 19.1 ± 3.7 per 30 seconds, whereas after training 24.9 ± 4.4 per 30 seconds. The mean abdominal muscle strength before PTT training was 18.1 ± 3.2 per 30 seconds, whereas after PTT training it became 20.3 ± 3.5 per 30 seconds. Average different test for abdominal muscle strength in group 1 and group 2 using independent t-test showed that p = 0.00 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that the interventions in group 1 and group 2 are equally good in providing a significant effect on abdominal muscle strength which the ROC intervention further increases the abdominal strength of male athletes in extracurricular of pencak silat at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta. The suggestion in this research is that the trainers are expected to provide training correctly and use evaluation monitoring methods to improve athlete achievement. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan Senam Jantung Sehat dan Senam Lansia terhadap peningkatan ketahanan kardiovaskuler dan kapasitas vital paru pada lansia. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized pre-test dan post-test control group design, 2 kelompok masing-masing 12 orang lansia. Kelompok 1 dengan perlakukan Senam Jantung Sehat, dan kelompok 2 perlakuan senam lansia. Pelatihan diberikan 3 kali dalam seminggu selama 6 minggu. Alat ukurnya adalah tes jalan 2 menit di tempat untuk ketahanan kardiovaskuler dan pengukuran kapasitas vital paru dengan spirometri. Hasil: Independen t-test ketahanan kardiovaskuler didapatkan nilai p= 0.075(p>0,05).
