The profitability and sustainability of the textile sector is very important for the economic growth of Pakistan. Working capital has a major role in the performance of any business entity. In this article the authors have tried to find out the impact of working capital management on the performance of textile sector companies. For the above said purpose, the data of 30 textile sector companies listed at Karachi Stock Exchange having maximum market share were analyzed. All the manufacturing firms generally face problems with their collection and payments schedule. The results have indicated that sales growth, receivables turnover, payables turnover, inventory turnover, gross working capital turnover, current assets turnover, and financial debt ratio have a significant impact on the profitability of the textile companies of Pakistan. The study also concludes that firms in Pakistan are following conservative working capital management policy due to shortage of funds; thus, the firms need to concentrate on the collection policies. There is a great need for the efficient policies for the management of working capital. In this article the types of MFIs operating is Pakistan is discussed with their details i.e. Microfinance Banks, Rural Support Programs and NGOs. Some other organizations are also involved in micro financing but their percentage is very low. It is found that Rural Support Programs RSPs are not totally involved in microfinance but have a large chunk of funds for microfinance. Micro loans are given for various purposes including starting a new business. The real theme of microcredit is to give money to a poor person to start a small or micro business and increase his family income but micro loans are often used for many other purposes such as paying another expensive loan, paying for medical expenses of bread earner of the family, marriages, construction etc. In this research work the researcher has tried to analyze the performance of MFIs of Pakistan and to find out those factors which contribute in their effectiveness. Two approaches of microfinance i.e. Institutionists Approach and Welfarists Approach are discussed. To analyze the performance of MFIs both approaches are considered i.e. Institutionists and Welfarists. Seventeen parameters are selected, many of these are financial ratios and these are divided into four groups i.e. sustainability, transparency, outreach and efficiency. Some ratios/figures of each area of these MFIs are taken in the data and analysis is performed to find out that which ones are contributing more or less. Foreign exchange transaction may prove to be helpful in managing currency risk which is associated with import and export of goods. The significance of multi-national firms over international trade has been discussed along with the impact of balance of payment over international trade and the measures taken by the government to create a balance in balance of payment and balance of trade. The considerations of countries while determining exchange rates have been elaborated in this paper. The numerous factors that affect decision making for International Traders and the rectifications are also discussed in this paper. The paper also discusses how various aspects induce an industry to change its course or completely shut down and how to deal with these lingering threats. On the basis of literature reviewed the variables that have been selected that may influence international trade include; trade quotas, brand name, WTO, NAFTA, SAFTA, ASIAN, GATT, e-commerce, international payment systems, product specialization, home industry, foreign reserves, government regulations, international market, dumping duties, trade policies, social crises, economic crises, balance of payments, change in value, and supply than demand. A questionnaire will be developed on the basis of above-mentioned variables. The respondents of questionnaire will be the traders in the international market, importers and exporters. The data will then be handled by the use of SPSS. Regression analysis will be conducted to identify the significant variables that have major impact on international trade.
