At its early stage this project focuses on the analysis of different design concepts and operation principles of such intra vaginal sensor device. Traditional methods of intra-vaginal pH sampling, which rely on analysis of vaginal secretions or discharge from lateral vaginal walls, are difficult in long-term and often fraught with the potential for errors. Therefore this paper focuses on the analysis of such sensor's shape, form, size and fabric in order to enable precise, continuous acquisition of females' and animals' intra-vaginal pH and temperature at the right place inside the vagina. The aim is to set such operation principles, which will enable convenient collection and analysis of continuous vaginal pH and temperature samples for the purpose of further study. The objective is to achieve at least as accurate results as with the discrete analysis of clinicallyobtained intra-vaginal specimens, if not better. The data obtained with such sensors could enable a development of insemination prediction and gynaecological disorders detection models, which deployed to, for example smartphone devices, will help to attain high conception rate for animals and eventually improve the control of the vaginal health for women.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125863923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Findings indicate that Internet usage in USA and Chinese ICT investment in the U. S. is not significantly related, namely China's ICT firms will not consider the internet usage in the U. S. while making the investment decision. Also, there is significant positive relationship between ICT firms' location choice and high-tech talent, which means that high-tech talent is an important factor in attracting Chinese cross-border investment in ICT industry.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125896621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The closed-loop hybrid system consists of a single manufacturer and a single retailer in which the demand is satisfied by manufacturing from raw materials sourced from two different suppliers (the primary supplier and the secondary supplier) as well as remanufacturing from returned items into as-new products. The two suppliers charge different prices, the cheaper one has a high probability of supply disruption for the raw materials. A model is developed to maximize the overall expected profit of the system by jointly determining the online and offline prices of the manufactured/remanufactured products of the manufacturer and the retailer respectively, the number of remanufacturing and manufacturing frequency ratio and the required minimum quality level of the returned products. A numerical example is used to verify the validity of the model by adopting Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Algorithm. Sensitivity analysis is also tendered to analyze the impact of supply disruption.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129921985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It combines offline physical business with online network marketing and electronic payment to provide convenient and efficient localized services for consumers. However, user privacy concerns have become one of the challenging issues affecting further O2O e-commerce applications. Taking the catering takeaway O2O e-commerce as an example, the user privacy and cost issues occurring in the big data era are presented through analyzing of the service model of current mainstream catering takeaway platforms. A hybrid-cloud-based privacy preserving application framework for catering takeaway O2O e-commerce is proposed. The similarities between users are calculated using SimRank model and user-restaurant relationship diagram. Considering their personalized privacy requirements, the users are grouped and anonymized. Even if the attacker obtains all the transaction information stored on the public cloud, the transaction relationship of a specific order cannot be uniquely identified. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed user privacy protection method is illustrated by an example.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132553720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, such a wide spread disclosure of personal data has raised serious privacy concerns. If the released dataset is not properly anonymized, individual privacy will be at great risk. K-anonymity is a popular and practical approach to anonymize datasets. In this study, we use a new clustering approach to achieve k-anonymity through enhanced data distortion that assures minimal information loss. During a clustering process, we include an additional constraint, minimal information loss, which is not incorporated into traditional clustering approaches. Our proposed algorithm supports a data release process such that data will not be distorted more than they are needed to achieve k-anonymity. We also develop more appropriate metrics for measuring the quality of generalization. The new metrics are suitable for both numeric and categorical attributes. Our experimental results show that the proposed algorithm causes significantly less information loss than existing clustering algorithms.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131115037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As deficient rural logistics network has restricted the rural development to a certain extent, this research field becomes a hot topic. However, most existing papers on forward and reverse logistics network design were primarily concerned with minimizing the total cost, neglecting the time sensitivity. In this paper, we propose a rural forward and reverse logistics network mode of e-commerce platform and a multiobjective mixed-integer linear programming model for logistics network design. To solve the NP-hard problem of the model, the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) has been used. At last, the model has been used to design forward and reverse rural logistics network in Pinggu district of Beijing as an example, and the result show that the model is efficient for establishing virtuous rural logistics network.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123893152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dust contaminates the captured videos and makes the videos blurred. Removing dust and restoring high quality dust-free and reflection-free video is a challenging task in the field of video stream processing. In this work, we present a pipeline of dust and reflection removal from the corrupted video streams. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first study how to effectively remove dust from video streams captured in a moving car. The pipeline is comprises of two steps. In the first step, it uses the state of the art image matting to model and resolve the captured frames as the merging result of a dust layer, a background layer and a matte layer. To refine the result, the second step employs variances of pixel streams to constrain the matte layer and optimizes the extracted dust layer, background layer and matte layer to make them spatially and temporally consistent in the streams. The test results demonstrate that our proposed method can effectively remove the dust and reflections in the video streams captured in moving cars.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124051904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While it has been widely adopted for e-Learning across universities in developed countries, its adoption in developing countries is very low and there is a lack of empirical studies that investigate the factors that influence its adoption by university students. In this paper, we identify and examine the factors that influence university students' intention to adopt cloud services in a developing country, Saudi Arabia. An empirical case study on a Software as a Service (SaaS) was conducted across two universities and a survey questionnaire modified from Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3) was administered to 527 students. The results show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are the main determinants of students' behavioural intention to adopt the provided cloud computing service. Detailed analysis of the determinants provides recommendations that can guide decision makers in universities to improve students' adoption by facilitating successful implementation of cloud services and by making students realise the relevance of cloud services to their e-Learning activities and outcomes. The study also offers cloud service providers recommendations on tailoring their services in order to build a successful e-Business model for universities in developing countries.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121189476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, personalization techniques have been exploited to build adaptive applications in which the user interfaces change according to the user needs and preferences. In this work, we advocate that it is possible to achieve personalization by analyzing the behavior of the user when browsing an e-commerce application. In order to prove our hypothesis, we built a toolkit that allows the automatic gathering and analysis of client logs in real-time. Moreover, our solution provides a Web service that exposes the analysis outcome also in real-time, thus allowing the client application to adapt on-the fly according to the results provided by the toolkit. This paper presents a case study that demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach to support the construction of adaptive e-commerce applications.","PeriodicalId":305614,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on e-Business Engineering (ICEBE)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115841420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
