With regard to the end of the Middle Bronze Age and the Recent Bronze Age the following phases have been distinguished: Middle Bronze Age 3A (BM 3A); Middle Bronze Age 3B (BM 3B); Recent Bronze Age 1 (BR 1); Recent Bronze Age 2 (BR 2); Recent Bronze Age 3 (BR 3). The northern one, occupying the southern hills in the Brescia district, is characterized by a conservative pottery style during the BM 3 and the BR. Pottery types widespread in the Subappennine are rare till the end of the BR 1. The western and the eastern group are located in the plain, both of them in contact with the peninsular regions. The software measures three-dimensional coordinates of a finite set of points on the object using two photographs taken from different positions (stereo pairs). Gennaro","doi":"10.6092/ISSN.1974-7985/2153","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.6092/ISSN.1974-7985/2153","url":null,"abstract":"L’industria su osso presa in esame in questo lavoro proviene dalle campagne di scavo avvenute tra il 2001 e il 2005 sul sito di Mursia e si compone di 137 reperti, di cui in massima parte punteruoli e punte. Al fine di creare una classificazione tipologica dell’industria, sono state eseguite la determinazione, dove possibile, di specie e parti anatomiche, e un’approfondita analisi tecnologica e funzionale. Nello specifico per comprenderne gli aspetti tecnologici, i modi di fabbricazione e la ricostruzione delle catene operative, sono state eseguite sperimentalmente le tecniche di produzione attraverso la manifattura e rifinitura degli strumenti. In seguito, soprattutto per la comprensione degli aspetti funzionali quindi dell’effettivo utilizzo degli strumenti, e stata eseguita l’analisi di tracce d’uso e di produzione, osservate al microscopio ottico e al SEM, eseguendo confronti con modelli traceologici sperimentali, con modelli osservati in studi esistenti in letteratura e con confronti etnografici. La creazione di una schedatura in database raccoglie tutte le informazioni necessarie per analisi statistiche delle ricorrenze di tipi e forme, ed ha permesso la creazione di piante, grafici e diagrammi esplicativi riguardanti ogni aspetto metrico, tecnico e formale legato allo strumentario, nonche della distribuzione spaziale dei manufatti nei diversi ambienti e livelli stratigrafici. Pietro di Sorres, located on the commune of Borutta (SS), is the largest of a series of buildings ready to crown the slopes of the plateau of limestone of Mura. The location - at the top of the hill of Sorres (524 m above se level) - near the romanesque cathedral of S. Peter, suggests a military use that began during the Late Bronze Age and maintained in the subsequent history (Punic, Roman, Vandalic, Byzantine, Judicial). From an architectural point of view it falls within the type tholos polilobato. The remains of local limestone give an impressive testimony of the building. Numerous materials of ceramic and bronze found inside and around, during the excavation work in the 50s of last century, are a confirmation of its importance in the Mejlogu area. The settlement is located in the hill upland inside a region scarcely documented for the protohistorical period and interesting for a reconstruction of the settlement pattern. The pottery found at the site shows a full adherence to the Subappenninic with several analogies in Romagna and Middle Adriatic lands. The up-to dated documentation of subterranean structures, the evalutation of several features and the proposal of several analytical approaches, propose not to exclude the interpretation of residential function, as suggested recently by many scholars. Instead, according the analysis of several parameters, it is necessary to detail in a better way this hypothesis. The conclusive interpretation presumes that the settlement pattern is so articolated and diversified, depending from environmental conditions, function and durability.
