The research was conducted in Tanah Laut and Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Determination of the location of the study with consideration of the area is marine water fishing activities center with a diversity of fishing gear. The number of samples was set at 311 fishermen. This research was carried out from August to October 2021 when the Covid-19 pandemic in the South Kalimantan was still in the status of Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). Study results explain that fulfillment marine materials for fishing during the Covid-19 pandemic was more difficult than before the pandemic, seasonal fishing fishermen had a 0.093 times more difficult opportunity than one-day fishing fishermen. At the stage of fishing operations, there are no different activities between before and when the Covid-19 pandemic both in one day fishing and seasonal fishing. Fish marketing activities are becoming more difficult, where one-day fishermen are 5.2 times more likely to do marketing compared to seasonal fishing, due to limited opportunities for transactions, limited access of collectors to direct fishermen and reduced operational time to fish markets.","PeriodicalId":30373,"journal":{"name":"Russian Journal of Agricultural and SocioEconomic Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68347208","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Purun and water hyacinth plants are micro-enterprise products that still exist to be cultivated by the people of Hulu Sungai Utara. However, the development of micro and small businesses faces problems that can disrupt the performance of micro and small businesses. The performance and success of micro businesses are influenced by various factors (internal and external). One of the internal factors that affect the performance of micro-enterprises is human capital and social capital; on the other hand, external factors that affect the performance of micro-enterprises are the role of the government (empowerment). The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of social capital on the performance of micro-enterprises, analyze the effect of human capital on micro-business performance, analyze the effect of empowerment on the performance of micro-enterprises, and analyze the effect of empowerment on social capital, and human capital on the performance of Purun and water hyacinth woven micro-enterprises in Hulu Sungai Utara District. The research was conducted in Hulu Sungai Utara District from February 2023 to May 2023. The micro-business samples in this study are micro-business actors who produce woven products (Purun and water hyacinth woven). The research sampling technique is non-probability sampling using a census technique with a sample size of 70 respondents. The data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Social capital does not significantly affect the performance of micro businesses. Social capital is reflected through cooperation, trust, and participation. It is due to the condition of the social capital of artisans who tend to be oriented towards maintaining good relations among woven artisans with suppliers of raw materials and collectors. Human capital has a positive and significant influence on business performance. Human capital is reflected through skills and knowledge. It shows that better skills and knowledge of artisans increase their business performance. Empowerment has no significant effect on business performance. It is because empowerment is still not continuous and has yet to be entirely directed to take advantage of business opportunities through empowerment programs.","PeriodicalId":30373,"journal":{"name":"Russian Journal of Agricultural and SocioEconomic Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41935624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, it is interesting to explore the many tourist attractions. A tour taking the optimal route can, of course, provide efficiency in terms of distance and travel time while also providing a quality experience to the traveler. Ignoring these factors can lead to a failed trip. To determine the optimal route, we spread a questionnaire to travelers (n = 507) and obtained their preferences when traveling to be used in designing the optimum route. We present two scenarios in this paper for comparison: the first is the common way tourists determine travel routes, and the second uses a genetic algorithm approach. We found that determining the optimal route of travel using methods of genetic algorithms can shorten the total travel distance of tourists by 68.8 kilometers (29.20%), reduce the travel time by 137.60 minutes (8.87%), and at the same time maintain tourist preferences during their tour. We also propose efforts to improve the optimization of cultural tourist travel routes, focusing on the travel aspects between tourist destinations and on the aspects of the tourist destination itself.","PeriodicalId":30373,"journal":{"name":"Russian Journal of Agricultural and SocioEconomic Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41877844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The risks that catfish farmers confront may be to blame for the low output. The aims of this study were to determine the source of production risk and the level of risk correlated with catfish production. The method of determining the area of study is carried out intentionally (purposively). This research method is a descriptive and analytical method. The snowball sampling approach was used with a sample of 40 respondents. The data used is a combination of sources both primary and secondary. The analysis used includes variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and risk level based on the risk map. Pests and diseases, weather and climate, the quality of catfish seeds, water quality, cannibalism, and human resources or cultivators who carried out the catfish cultivation process are all factors of production risk in Kediri Regency. The level of risk of catfish production is high, based on the variance value of 21.03, standard deviation of 4.59, and coefficient of variation of 1.61, while the production risk map reveals that the production risk faced by farmers is in the yellow zone, therefore it is included in the high-risk category.","PeriodicalId":30373,"journal":{"name":"Russian Journal of Agricultural and SocioEconomic Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41876096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
