The paper gives detail description of data embedding and decoding, the information to be transmitted is embedded into the echo of the original speech at the transmitting end, and is decoded through cepstrum analysis at the receiving end. Compared to echo watermarking technologies, the method would have more advantages:(1) By segments division, the transmitting capacity can be improved;(2) The original speech signal will not be corrupted by the echoes;(3)The method do not need complex Error Control strategy. Further, the paper gives the properties analysis: Correct Decoding Probability (CDP), Data Rate, and the effect of front and rear noises. The simulation results show the methods can embed data with any length into speech signal. To accelerate the convergence further, two improved chaos optimization methods are proposed. The performances of the proposed optimization methods are verified by comparing with step-based method and other intelligent optimization methods such as genetic algorithms, continuous ant colony algorithm and particle swarm optimization based on simulation. Iris recognition enjoys universality, high degree of uniqueness and moderate user co-operation. This makes Iris recognition systems unavoidable in emerging security & authentication mechanisms. We propose an iris recognition system based on vector quantization. The proposed system does not need any pre-processing and segmentation of the iris. We have tested LBG, Kekre’s Proportionate Error Algorithm (KPE) & Kekre’s Fast Codebook Generation Algorithm (KFCG) for the clustering purpose. From the results it is observed that KFCG requires 99.79% less computations as that of LBG and KPE. Further the KFCG method gives best performance with the accuracy of 89.10% outperforming LBG that gives accuracy around 81.25%. Firstly, based on the expression for the probability of detection, a sensor set selecting method is proposed; then, a confidence based trustless sensor detecting method is presented to delete the trustless sensors from CRN which would add negative effect on the sensor set selecting method; lastly, based on the two methods above, a confidence based sensor set selecting algorithm is proposed, which not only effectively delete the trustless sensors from CRN but also use fewest cooperative sensors to minimize the consumption of system resources, while still having enough for the sensing performance requirements. There is need to build a heuristic framework which analyses these constraints as parameters of the framework and their effect on selection or design of tracking algorithm. We survey the accuracy of the channel estimation for different number of users and different number of pilot subcarriers. Moreover, since there is not a closed form solution to the BER of the Turbo coded system for different number of constellation size. Operation of this circuit is based on source voltage modulation instead of conventionally used gate voltage modulation which interestingly prevents usage of commonly required voltage shifting in those circuits. The proposed circuit has a simple structure prohibiting large chip area consumption. The proposed current mirror is the best choice for ultra low power low voltage (ULPVL) applications. Efficient edge detection depends on choosing the threshold; the choice of threshold directly determines the results of edge detection. In this paper, Sobel edge detection operator and its enhanced algorithm are first discussed in terms of optimal thresholding in C language under Linux platform. It is implemented a competent execution time for this new enhanced algorithm to detect edges for human knee osteoarthritis images in different critical situations. The proposed method is able to exhibit discernible view of salient features of most osteoarthritis images with approximately 50% better execution time compare to classical Sobel method.
