Fragile watermarking is a known technique for detecting location of tamper in the artwork. However, to detect even minute changes, the watermark needs to be distributed throughout the 3D model. This poses as a challenge since watermarking all vertices can cause perceptible distortion. The proposed algorithm solves this problem by inserting a watermark in all the vertices of a 3D model. The watermark is randomly added to each and every vertex of the 3D model by modifying the coordinate location of the vertices. Genetic Algorithms have been used to find the near optimal coordinate location of the watermarked vertex. The fitness function chosen is the Signal to Noise Ratio of the 1-ring neighbourhood of the vertex. This ensures that there exists no distortion in the watermarked model. The system design comprises of a Phonocardiographic pre-amplifier circuit with a TMS320C6711 Digital Signal Processor Starter kit (DSK) and its associated software. The Phonocardiogram signal from the pre-amplifier circuit is acquired through the CODEC input of the DSK and subjected to various signal processing techniques. Frequency analysis and component analysis are performed to identify the normal and pathological heart sound patterns using Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) and Wavelet transform techniques respectively. To study the performance of the system, the analysis of heart sound patterns for various diseases were conducted. The modulation of the heart rate about its mean value is called Heart rate variability (HRV). Nonlinear analysis of HRV is helpful to assess the cardiac health noninvasivly. The autonomic dysfunction also causes cardiac malfunction. The effect of ANS on cardiac functioning is investigated by estimating Approximate entropy (ApEn) of HRV data of a few healthy subjects before and after meditation. It has been found that the entropy parameters indicate improved cardiac health after meditation. The IFIR approach to filter design is known to yield great savings in computation. In this paper an earlier approach to prototype filter design based on the Kaiser window is revisited and the same is implemented using an IFIR approach. Saving in computation will be highlighted and any deviation in performance from the previous approach will be determined. The growth of the Internet is the driving force behind many popular multicast based group applications like e-learning, conferencing, TV over Internet, interactive gaming etc. These group based are vulnerable to many attacks. The features that make multicast so applicative, in turn make security a challenging issue. The dynamic changes in the group membership with frequent joins and evictions are the prime factor which makes the security difficult in any group based applications. Key distribution and key management is the challenging issue with any of these applications. This paper describes a novel technique for secure distribution of the group key. In this paper, design and implementation of a low cost microcontroller based controlled rectifier training module for single-phase system to be utilized in Power Electronics Lab is presented. The module comprises of various units. The first unit is zero crossing detector followed by the pulse shifting unit, pulse shaping unit, pulse isolation unit, thyristor unit, diode unit, load unit, current sense unit, voltage sense unit and finally rpm sense unit. Various experiments are designed to study the different configurations of the controlled rectifiers. These configurations include half converter, semi converter, full converter, dual converter, series semi converter and series full converter. Some types of AC voltage controllers can also be studied. Indeed, a suitable IIR filter is designed for approximating Parks- McClellan Low pass differentiator using modified Al-Alaoui’s method, and then denominator polynomial coefficients of resulting transfer function optimized by Genetic algorithm. A suitable fitness function is defined to optimize both magnitude and phase responses; moreover, appropriate weighting coefficients and GA parameters are reported for several cut-off frequencies. It is shown that the order-4 proposed low-pass differentiators yield a frequency response which is almost equal to order-30Parks-McClellan low-pass differentiators. It deals with the discovery of hidden knowledge, unexpected patterns and new rules from large databases. Knowledge discovery in databases is the process of identifying a valid, potentially useful and ultimately understandable structure in data. Datasets of hepatitis are collected from the benchmark repository and training datasets are revealed. Data mining tasks including classification, clustering, regression etc., In order to discover the classification rules, ant miner algorithm is used. The ant miner algorithm is based on the behavior of ants in searching of food. The proposed method extracts the classified rules using Fuzzy Based Ant Miner Algorithm (FACO). The training set is taken and the FACO algorithm is applied initially for classifying the categorical attributes. Using heuristic functions, the best rules are generated. Next, rule pruning is performed to obtain the optimized rules based on quality functions. The accuracy of the designed system is determined using the test cases. FACO is used to bring out with better quality for the classified rules. The project aims at obtaining the best rules with maximum accuracy. This method may be used by any kind of encoded bit stream, but this research concentrates on full rate (GSM 6.10) encoded bit stream. This method allows user to adjust embedded data bit-rate or speech quality. Speech quality is determined by Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) which is an objective testing. The effect of embedding data to each specific bit of GSM Full Rate coefficients, on speech quality has been investigated and the less important bits are selected to embed secret data. Meanwhile for approaching a higher speech quality, the data embedding positions are based on different speech frame types.
