The population of this research was the first grade of SMA Tri Sukses Natar in the academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this research was X science 2 which consisted of 30 students. The data were taken from the tests and they were analyzed by using paired sample t-test. The result showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ reading comprehension of pre-test (61.40) to post-test (72.30) in which t-value>t-table (11.882>2.452) or sig p<0.05 (0.000<0.05). In addition, main idea was the aspect of reading that improved the most after the implementation of the technique and the aspect which improved the least was vocabulary. Based on the result, it can be concluded that Herringbone technique is effective to improve students’ reading comprehension. The study used a qualitative approach which included a case study. Naturalistic observation and encoding matrix were used to obtain the data. The data were examined using the FIACS (Flanders Interaction Analysis Category System) approach proposed by Flanders (1970) frameworks for forms of classroom interaction. The data demonstrated that both the teacher and the students used all of the FIACS system of interaction categories. The result of this study revealed that the dominant category applied by the teacher was Ask Question with the percentage 18.03% in the first meeting and 20.15% in the second meeting. In the other hand the dominant category used by students in the first and second meeting was Students-Talk Initiation with the percentage 38.52% and 49.71%. In addition, the classroom interaction is dominantly made by the students in the second meeting supported by discussion task. The percentage of Students Talk in the second meeting was 59.68%. This is a quantitative research. The population of the sample was thirty two students of the X MIA 6 of SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2020/2021.The data were collected by using writing test and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using Paired Samples T-Test and descriptive statistics. It is shown that there was statistically significant improvement of the students’ writing achievement after they were taught through online learning by WhatsApp group chat. Moreover, it could be seen from the computation of Paired Samples T-Test where the T-value (17,576) was higher than t-table with the significance level was 0.00 < 0.05. The result of this research indicates that there is significant improvement in all aspects of students’ writing achievement. This suggests that online learning activity by using WhatsApp can be used as a strategy to improve the students’ writing achievement. In English communication, if our pronunciation is wrong or inappropriate the result will be miscommunication, even to the point of not conveying the purpose of communication in a conversation because the meaning of a word or sentence is not conveyed properly. So far, the steps for learning and modeling pronunciation in English are done directly or face-to-face. Lecturers and students also need appropriate learning media and support online learning to carry out this Pronunciation course. Regarding applications, the benefits of many applications that are suitable for learning English are; students can watch videos related to the topic, are able to save examples of learning materials, and are able to save the exercises they have done as learning evaluation material for teachers and students later. Applications which are appropriate are the methods which are not only support online learning but can also improve students' pronunciation skills. This study aims to determine whether or not using the pronunciation application have an significant effect on students' pronunciation abilities. This study is used one group pretest-posttest. This design analyzes the results of students' pronunciation abilities at the beginning and at the end of the lesson. The subjects of this study were undergraduate students of the English Education Study Program, FKIP University of Lampung. One class consists of 31 students who take pronunciation courses. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concludes that there is no significant difference of students pronunciation ability before and after taught using pronunciation applications. The sample of this research was VII G on Junior High School. This research applied a quantitave approach which used reading test. The first result of the research showed that there was a significant effect on students’ reading score in a descriptive text since t-ratio > t-table (11.468 > 1.984). The average of posttest score (70.56) was higher than the pretest score (59.43). It gained 11.13. In addition, the most increased aspect of reading skills was reference since the percentage was 65% (highest than other aspects). Briefly, it could be concluded that Think-Pair-Share technique enabled to improve the students’ achievements in comprehending descriptive text and showed positive impact to students toward the use of the technique in teaching process. This research aims to know students’ understanding on idiom by analyzing whether idioms affect sentence comprehension. The subjects were students in grade XI of SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung. The researcher took one class as the sample of 25 students randomly. This research was analyzed using descriptive statistic method. In collecting the data, the researcher used a test in the form of Westlife songs and task completing. The result showed that the students understanding in both literal meaning and idiom were still low, their average score was under 60. The subject of the research was thirty students of SMP N 8 Bandar Lampung who were in seventh grade when the research was conducted. The research was conducted by using one group pretest and posttest design. The data were analyzed by using Repeated Measure T-Test in which the significance was determined by p<0.05 and hypothesis testing was computed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The students’ perception toward the implementation of Duolingo was also investigated through a close-ended questionnaire. The result of the research showed that the mean score improves from the pretest was 62,1333 and the posttest was 76,3333 in which the gain was 14,2000. The result of the t-value was 12.836 and the sig.2-tailed 0.000. It means that the hypothesis was accepted, there is a significant improvement of the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught through Duolingo. Furthermore, it was found out that students have a positive perception of the treatment. The subject of research were thirty four students at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. The researcher measured reading habit by using questionnaire. On other hand, reading test was used to assest students’ reading ability. The data from both instruments were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment. The result showed that there was a significant correlation between students’ reading habit and reading ability since the significant correlation coefficient was 0.000 and the r value was 0.840, which indicates very high correlation. Reference has shown as the most correlated aspect among reading aspects. The approach of the research was quantitative. The subjects were 30 students of class X IPS 2 at SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung in 2019/2020 academic year. The students’ speaking scores were compared between the pre-test and the post-test by using Paired Sample T-test with the significant level 0,000. The students’ perception toward the implementation of storytelling technique was 0.754. The result of the research showed that there was an improvement of the students’ speaking skill from the pre-test (56.73) to the post-test (68.25). Furthermore, the result of questionnaires showed that most students gave positive perception toward the implementation of storytelling technique in improving students’ speaking skill. This suggests that storytelling technique can be used as a strategy to improve the students’ speaking skill.
