There are two most commonly used methods which are dynamic and static VAr compensation (denoted by DVC and SVC respectively) for improving power factor, but both ways still remain some drawbacks such as the over/under or corrupted compensation phenomena due to DVC, or an expensive cost for a large size of inductors of SVC. This paper proposes a new scheme combining both DVC and SVC in order to get the best performance with low installing cost. The proposed scheme, called Dynamic-Static VAr compensation (DSVC), includes two controlled loops. The inner loop, DVC controller, has a function of providing a large amount of the compensating reactive power until a little capacitive leading, then the outer loop, SVC controller, acts on the system to eliminate the over compensation from the inner controlled loop. The feed-back signal in this case is the power factor (cosϕ) that is the same as the reference signal, and the power factor (PF) meter design based on the microcontrollers will be deeply described in this paper. The work is firstly validated via simulating on Matlab/Simulink, and then applied on the experimental setup. This method is based on speed sensorless estimation of vector controlled induction motor drive and adaptive control theory. A flux observer of an induction motor with a parameter adaptive scheme will be proposed. The parameters identified adaptively are stator and rotor resistance. A stability of the proposed adaptive flux observer will be proved by the Lyapunov's theorem. An adaptive scheme can be applied also to estimate motor speed without speed sensors. The theoretical basis of indirect field oriented vector control is explained in detail and it is implemented in Matlab, Simulink. Furthermore, experimental results of an indirect field-oriented induction motor control without speed sensor using DSP 1104 card are presented. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the principles and demonstrate the practicality of the approach. Analytical tuning rules for the PID filter controller are derived in the transparent way for enhancing the disturbance rejection. A two degree of freedom (2DOF) control scheme is utilized to cope with both the regulatory and servo problems in a simple manner. Several illustrative examples are conducted for a broad class of time-delay processes and the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method affords better performances for both the disturbance rejection and set-point tracking in compared with those of recently well-known design methods, since the controllers in the simulation study are all tuned to have the same degree of robustne ss in terms of the maximum sensitivity. To demonstrate the robustness of the controllers, the worst-case model mismatch is introduced by inserting perturbation uncertainty in all process parameters simultaneously. A Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) is proposed and is connected to the weakest stability node of the studied system that is figured out based on the power flow calculation results. The analysed voltage results and time- domain response are also presented in order to estimate the effectiveness of the proposed STATCOM to the studied system. Simulation results are performed by using PowerWorld commercial software under a severe three-phase short circuit fault happened at the STATCOM connected bus. The block of line parameter estimation using the current and voltage parameters in the microgrid and estimation algorithm recursive least squares method (LSM). The Second-order generalized integrator-phase-locked loop (SOGI-PLL) is used to monitor such amplitude voltage phases and frequency at the point of common coupling (PCC) of the inverters. The line parameters are a mixture of resistance and reactance and has been estimated in real time. Therefore, the adaptive droop control method is more real, providing good performance under all conditions of load and line. This paper will present a combination of building algorithms to determine storage location in storage and retrieval process as well as planning optimal route in each travel cycle of goods, their combination helps to manage the goods effectively and reduce travel distance. A built-in management software makes it easy to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithms, simulated warehouse contains 160 storage locations divided into 4 lines. The algorithm is designed to increase the efficiency of warehouse management as well as the plan optimal route for goods. Stability proof of the stable convergence of the overall closed-loop serial PAM robot system under novel AAFSMC control is demonstrated based on Lyapunov stability principle. Authors in [1] selected Lyapunov candidate function presented following HJ equation. Almost previous papers using H - infinity to control WIP must assume that desired accelerator is zero and model is linearized at origin, leading to that system does not obtain global asymptotical stability when angular error leave neighborhood of origin. In this paper, we propose a new control method applying H - infinity and Backstepping technique based on Lyapunov direct method to stabilize tracking error to converge to arbitrary ball of origin. To perform the identification of focused regions and the objects within the image, this paper proposes the method of aggregating information from the recognition of the edge on image. By all algorithms and implementing methods, we will carry out entirely on mobile platform.
