The analysed voltage results and time- domain response are also presented in order to estimate the effectiveness of the proposed STATCOM to the studied system. Simulation results are performed by using PowerWorld commercial software under a severe three-phase short circuit fault happened at the STATCOM connected bus. Abstract

This paper presents the study of voltage stability improvement of Bac Lieu-Viet Nam power grid including the connected Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbine.
