Activities in various fields, especially education, face various problems in the process, which were initially carried out face-to-face/offline to online and of course this all affects the system and quality of education. Islamic education which has taken place as an inseparable part of the national education system has also experienced this impact. The writing of this article is to identify the difficulty of Islamic education in national education during the covid-19 pandemic, whose goal is to provide knowledge of the efforts made by Islamic education during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of the discussion show that Islamic education in national education during the covid-19 pandemic develops potential or provides creativity to students, teaches to always try in any activity, strives and prays to God Almighty, is responsible for all activities that should still be carried out. while online, maintain morals, manners, be independent, knowledgeable, and of course must keep the spirit. This article discusses the role of alumni according to the Total Quality Management (TQM) perspective to find out related matters, namely the understanding and role of alumni, how the characteristics of integrated quality schools and how alumni management is according to the TQM perspective. The results of the analysis show the characteristics of quality schools have 5 quality pillars which include a focus on customers, total involvement, measurement, commitment and continuous improvement. The pillars are based on school beliefs. Alumni are able to make many contributions in improving the quality of education, therefore there is a need for alumni management. Madrasah as educational institutions in Indonesia are educational institutions under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Currently, madrasah are able to show that they are modern Islamic educational institutions that can be seen from their physical and academic appearance, madrasah already have complete infrastructure facilities to support scientific development (learning process), qualified educators according to their knowledge, good educational staff and other supporters. Madrasah also have the vision, mission and goals of the institution that must be considered in curriculum development. Each educational institution has varied differences, which show the strengths and opportunities of each educational institution. The facilities and facilities owned by the madrasah are the teacher's consideration in developing the curriculum. As the government policy given to pesantren as Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, has had an impact on the development of Islamic education institutions in Indonesia from basic education institutions and even to the formation of higher education institutions that are able to compete with general education institutions. There are 5 characteristics inherent in Islamic boarding schools, namely: pondok, mosque, teaching of classical Islamic books, santri, and kyai. Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia have a very big role, both for the progress of Islam itself and for the Indonesian nation as a whole. Based on existing records, religious education activities in the archipelago have been started since 1596. These religious activities are later known as Islamic boarding schools. Ulama began to realize that the traditional Islamic boarding schools and education systems were no longer suited to the Indonesian climate at that time. The method used is the Content Analysis approach, so that the research results are not in the form of numbers but in the form of interpretations and words. The purpose of this research is to find out how to instill the values of Islamic teachings in children in the book tarbiyatul aulad fil Islam by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and how the uswatun khasanah method in the book tarbiyatul aulad fil Islam by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan is the value of Islamic teachings and its cultivation. It is hoped that educators will not only teach without good practice, but educators must also be good role models in all things. So that students can grow in kindness, since childhood they are familiar with noble morals. The results of this study are as follows. First, through the principle of piety, it means to fear Allah from doing what is wrong. Second, brotherhood. Third, compassion. Fourth, put others first. Fifth, the apologizer. Sixth, courage in upholding the truth in Islam.
