The objective is to categorize the PPP of the SESI-PR School and relate it to the founding elements of the basic education project of Brazilian business. The study takes Marxism as a reference and aims to understand the relationships between work and education in the context of educational policies for high school. The study is based on the literature review of authors who study the world of work and worker education. It was from the division of society into antagonistic classes that schooling divided itself and starts to attend in different ways people from different classes. Created in antiquity this form of school played an important role in the maintenance of social inequality, as with the transformation of society education starts to have defi ned purposes and objectives, elaborated by the dominant classes aiming at ensuring their position in society. The text is divided into two parts; in the fi rst part, a historical analysis of the Greek education is presented. In the second part, the relationship between ethics and education and between education and politics is analyzed.
