However, the NNGVF snake still has difficulties converging into long, thin boundary indentations. In this paper, we propose a novel external force for active contour models named NNGGVF which is a generalization of the NNGVF include two spatially varying weighting functions. It improves snake's ability of convergence into long, thin boundary indentations while maintaining other desirable properties of the NNGVF, such as better noise immunity and enlarged capture range. Hyper plane Support Vector Machine has been widely used to divide the samples into two equal categories. However, the hyper sphere Support Vector Machine can not only separate the samples, but also divide them into two different parts. Since the probability inside and outside the hyper sphere is not same, hyper sphere-SVM is helpful to the classification when the datasets are imbalanced that we can control the radius of hyper sphere to get higher accuracy. The KCNN-SVM algorithm distinguishes a sample with its nearest neighbor's category label as well as the average distance between it and its k nearest same kind of neighbors which can enhance the accuracy when the samples are chaotic imbalanced. Leaves image segmentation, registration and identification are based on edge detection. In this paper, a novel method to detect hardwood leaves edges is proposed, which clusters, thresholds, and then detects edges of hardwood seedlings leaves using intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) theory. Clustering segments image into several clusters and histogram threshold eliminates unwanted clusters that are not related to leaves region. Finally, image edge is detected, where a clear boundary is obtained. Proposed method performs better than classical edge detection methods. This paper studies how to identify or find good xml documents(fragments) for feedback. We propose an effective method, in which xml element search results clustering is performed firstly by k-mediod cluster number optimization, and then those fragments with high relevant to the query are identified and ranked in the top position by ranking model. It explores the knowledge about IS by determining the level of computer knowledge and interaction, and other facts. These items influence students' choices between taking IS as a field of study. By assumption, students must have acquired computer knowledge and skills as they pursue their career. The problem is that non IS students are not knowledgeable of computer hardware and software and would struggle. A quantitative research approach was used for this study. The findings from this study depicted that factors influencing students choice from not taking or going into IS/IT field of study were related to higher salary and lower level of computer literacy. Students are not informed of an IS career due to the lack of career orientation. The current techniques of local enhancing exists either over-enhancing or high complexity problems. In this paper, we propose a compositive contrast enhancement algorithm which combines histogram equalization based methods (HEBM) and an multi-scales unsharp masking based methods (UMBM). This proposed algorithm uses HEBM to achieve global contrast enhancement and UMBM to achieve local multi-scales contrast enhancement. First, we review the techniques developed in the literature for contrast enhancement. After then, we introduce the new algorithm in details. The performance of the proposed method is studied on experimental IR data and compared with those yielded by two well established algorithms. To solve these problems, a Trojan horse detection model of nonlinear SVM based on an effective feature selection optimization algorithm is presented in this paper. In this model, we extract the API (application program interface) calls sequence of an executable program as a feature vector and use the feature selection optimization algorithm to choose High-sensitive characteristics which are quantized into data recognized by SVM to build the SVM feature vector library. SVM classifier is trained with the training dataset to find the optimal separating hyper plane.
