To be able to survive and become a leading company, PT XYZ understands the importance to improve the competitive advantage of its supply chain by means of strategic alliances. VMI is one of the most popular strategic alliance’s concepts in the retail industry. For the retailer, VMI is transferring their responsibility of inventory management to the supplier. VMI partnership enables the supplier to decide regarding inventory replenishment for the retailer. But only a few scholars have examined the effectiveness of YouTube advertising on customers’ purchase intention. This study aims (1) to analyze the factors of YouTube advertising (e.g. entertainment, informativeness, customization, and irritation) and their impact on perceived YouTube advertising value; and (2) to evaluate the effect of YouTube advertising towards customers’ purchase intention. This was a conclusive quantitative research with 261 respondents aged 18–29 years. This study found that the more entertaining and the more informative the YouTube advertising, the higher the YouTube advertising value. However, the customization and irritation factors that were assumed to influence the YouTube advertising value, were not proven. These roles can be performed optimally if there are synergies undertaken by all stakeholders. This study is expected to contribute to BPD stakeholders in optimizing performance. This research used mixed methods which started with a quantitative process to analyze questionnaire data and secondary data of 26 BPDs. The qualitative process is carried out by in-depth confirmation through interviews of BPD leaders, employees, and customers. In addition to the confirmation, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) are conducted with BPD officers, the Association of Regional Banks (Asbanda) and the Financial Service Authority (OJK) using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Business coaching is a training process by a coach to the trainee in problems that exist in the SME, as well as providing solutions and applicable suggestions to existing problems at the SME. The objective in this paper is to formulate an efficient cost structure on Trijaya Ban 83 spooring services and to make financial forecast when applying the cost structure. Based on this coaching business process, the variable costs accumulated in the form of incentives in mechanic salaries can create higher net income, efficiency in the use of operational machinery, and provide a more stable profit margin when sales are lower. This cost structure calculation can be used in other services calculations at Trijaya Ban 83. ProQ is an SME engaged in maintenance and repair services of motor vehicle air conditioner. In ProQ, there is no inventory control process; therefore, its operational activities are disturbed. This paper is the result of applying inventory control for ProQ workshop through problem identification process, problem solving recommendations, and implementation of the recommendations. The step taken is to conduct a benchmarking process to PT. X which has run inventory control on a large scale and with a large inventory of spare parts. From the results of benchmarking, there are few steps that can be done by adapting the inventory control of PT. X, namely the importance of the existence of part-man and its SOPs, random sampling and stock operational activities are scheduled and have clear records and reports, and recording of the daily in and out of spare parts from the inventory which is well-organized and PT. X also has a classification of fast, slow, and non-moving inventory through the age of spare parts. They are called as women entrepreneurs. Some research stated that cultural diversity may have an impact on women entrepreneurial behavior, one of them is about religion. This research will reveal the Islamic perspective about it. The purpose of this research is to know how Islam ruled women entrepreneurs and whether the business behavior of married Muslim women who are IWAPI members in Surabaya is in accordance with the teachings of Islam. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with case studies approach. The data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participative observation, and documentation. In this research, the business behavior of Muslim are in terms of the following aspects: motivation, commitment to family, experienced obstacles, responsibilities, activities, as well as adopting a business strategy which is guided from four characters of the Prophet namely: Siddiq (truthful), Amanah (trustworthy), Fathanah (smart/wise), and Tabligh (deliver). Results of this research show that doing business is not forbidden in Islam as long as it does not ignore the main task of a Muslim woman as a housewife. The business motivation of the housewives is to gain a flexible time management so as to enable a balance between the obligations of housewives and business.
