The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant difference between the creative thinking skills of students who are taught using the creative problem-solving learning model and those taught using the conventional model. This type of research is quasi-experimental, with the research design used being a nonequivalent control group. The subjects in this research are all students in class XI MIA SMAN 14 Maros, with the sample being class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class and class controls, each numbering 34 people. The research instrument used was a creative thinking skills test instrument on temperature and heat materials. The results of this research show a difference in the average score of students' creative thinking abilities between the experimental class and the control class, namely 33.49 in the experimental class and 28.29 in the control class. From the results of the hypothesis test, it can be seen that there are differences in the creative thinking skills of experimental class and control class students using a significance level of α = 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the physics creative thinking ability of students taught using the creative problem solving learning model is higher than the physics creative thinking ability of students taught using the conventional learning model.","PeriodicalId":285477,"journal":{"name":"Islamic Journal of Integrated Science Education (IJISE)","volume":"55 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141339272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evaluation is the process of collecting, assessing, and interpreting data to ensure the level of achievement of a student's learning goals. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes on circulatory system biology material class XI Senior High School. The method used in this study is the quantitative descriptive method. The result of this study is that the average score obtained by students after doing the question is 30.54 with the highest score of 56 points and the lowest score of 12 points. Of the 11 students who did 25 test questions, three students with the highest rankings and three students with the lowest rankings were obtained. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that students have a good interest in learning the material of the circulatory system. However, some students are still unable to understand the material due to the lack of precise selection of learning methods and media applied by teachers in the learning process.","PeriodicalId":285477,"journal":{"name":"Islamic Journal of Integrated Science Education (IJISE)","volume":"73 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140668358","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Researchers have looked into the social elements that lead students at a special Islamic educational college to lack a critical approach to selecting the necessary information. The author also presented a number of suggestions and recommendations in this area, based on the idea that future imams must acquire information culture. The article in the Information Society examines in detail the necessity of the efficient use of information in the field of education and makes sure that information is circulated quickly and of high quality within the education system, which becomes the primary criterion for the advancement and development of the nation. The primary determinants of the information culture creation of secondary specialized Islamic education students are elucidated. Every student and adolescent in the twenty-first century must adhere to the fundamentals of information culture; issues with its application in the classroom and, naturally, fostering a more positive Internet culture are emphasized. The scholarly essay provides an examination of research done on how students in secondary specialized educational institutions use social media and the Internet. The development of students' information cultures in secondary specialized Islamic educational institutes has not been researched at all; this is a scientific study conducted in Uzbekistan as well as all of Central Asia. This study aims to determine the epistemic game that is owned by students in solving Newton's law application problems. The method used is a qualitative method in which student problem-solving strategies are identified in six games. The research subjects were students taking physics and biology courses. Data collection uses interviews and concept understanding tests about the application of Newton's law. The results showed that students used different games between each other to solve Newton's law application problems. The epistemic games that students have include mapping meaning to mathematics, physical mechanism, pictorial analysis, and transliteration to mathematics. Students use different games with each other to solve Newton's law application problems. The process by which students determine the solution to the problem-solving application of Newton's law is influenced by their' understanding of the material. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of students' reflective thinking skills after using the virtual lab in the nuclear physics course. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique used a modified Kember reflective questionnaire with 24 statement items consisting of aspects of habitual action, understanding, reflection, and critical reflection. The research subjects were 15 prospective physics teacher students. The results showed that the level of reflective ability: habitual action (72.7%), understanding (89.3%), reflection 76.9% and critical reflection (67.87%) means that all levels are in the high category. These results explain that the profile of students' reflective thinking abilities is in the high category after learning nuclear physics using a virtual laboratory.","PeriodicalId":285477,"journal":{"name":"Islamic Journal of Integrated Science Education (IJISE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123799902","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
