Aceves-Mijares","doi":"10.1109/ICEEE.2016.7751235","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICEEE.2016.7751235","url":null,"abstract":"This work presents the electrical and electroluminescent properties of light emitting capacitors (LECs) using silicon rich oxide (SRO) and the effect of a thin silicon rich nitride (SRN) film on it (SRN/SRO) as active layers. LECs were fabricated using simple Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor (MIS) structures with indium tin oxide (ITO) and aluminum as gate and substrate electrodes, respectively. All devices exhibit a resistance switching (RS) behavior from a high conduction state (HCS) to a low conduction state (LCS), enhancing an intense ultraviolet-blue (UV-B) EL. This RS behavior produces structural changes in the active layer and probably in the ITO contact. Seven narrow bands with half-peak width of 7±0.6 nm at ~250, 270, 285, 305, 325, 415 and 450 nm are clearly observed once the low conduction state is reached. The red-near infrared EL at HCS is similar to the PL spectra indicating the same radiative process is involved. An increment of the EL band at ~590 nm in SRN/SRO is observed at both conduction states. This band has been observed before and attributed transitions from the minimum band conduction to K0 centers in SRN films. The UV-B emission appears at lower electric field when the SRN/SRO film is used as active layer.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129634632","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

High response ratings obtained in these tumors encourages further investigation about the application of ECT in deep-seated tumors. As an approach to real anatomical modeling of target lesions, required in patient-specific treatment planning, it is presented in this work, the electric field distribution in a volume corresponding to a 3D reconstruction of a deep-seated breast carcinoma by applying electric potentials amplitudes from 100 V to 1500 V through two needle electrodes. Results obtained with the Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis show that for the breast carcinoma modeled, the electric potential suggested to be applied between the electrodes must be lower than 500 V to cause reversible electroporation and hence to control ablation regions while preserving the minimal invasiveness.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130018633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Homotopic Path Planning Method (HPPM) is being used to find points that compose the solution of this system based on the Homotopic Continuation Method (HCM) and complemented with the use of the Spherical Algorithm (SA). An automatic assignment alternative is being proposed with fixed Repulsion Parameter based on the obstacle location about the ideal path and taking into account any possible obstacle neighborhood.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115242046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This specialized mutation operator is particularly designed to deal with constrained continuos problems. As a variation operator, SPM ensures the production of suitable candidate solutions which has not only the chance to improve their survival rate, but that fulfills feasibility also-saving in this way a considerable amount of function evaluations when avoiding unnecessary trials. This feature coupled with the ability of SPM for performing movements along the constrained Pareto set improves the efficiency of the mutation process in a MOEA.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115709918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The CNAs measured using the high resolution technologies of hybridization are contaminated with an intensive noise that may cause uncertainty in the detected breakpoints and segments. We show that jitter is fundamentally inherent to the simulate CNAs and that the jitter probability represented with the discrete skew Laplace distribution is not accurate when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is small. To approximate the jitter distribution with highest accuracy, we modify the skew Laplace distribution to have the SNR function dependent on the discrete departure from the breakpoint. We propose several approximating functions and test them by experimental data.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116168148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Large scale PV generation have attracted interest among countries due to low operation cost and wide PV resource disposition. However, some operative challenges in large scale PV plants had been detected: power imbalance, low power quality in terms of total harmonic distortion (THD), power factor and conversion efficiency, can be mentioned. This paper is focused on topologies featuring medium-frequency (MF) isolation and presents a review of different approaches to solve those operative issues. Medium-frequency isolation reduces current and improves efficiency, reliability, and provides isolated DC sources for power electronics converters, and can replace bulky low-frequency transformers, thus reducing PV system volume. Simulations of three-phase 10 kW PV systems are presented: MF link PV system, Delta inverter and a PV system based on a matrix converter.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130579764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Making process from design and calculations of the software taking biomechanical parameters of a healthy knee ; verifying and comparing the curves obtained with existing jobs. The mechanism was established to support the weight of a person to range between one hundred kilograms , using a finite element analysis it was possible to obtain a safety factor in the prosthesis that will provide peace of mind to the user on a fracture of the device. The construction of the device was using three materials: 6063 aluminum, 304 stainless steel and bronze, making the weight of the prosthesis is not exceeded and make it at the level of the most commercial. Based on the above, there has developed a prosthesis that mimics the motion of the knee, with great stability and at the same time it has a low cost. The device is intended to be incorporated into a modular prosthesis pelvic limb and work in an optimal control mechanism to regulate the acceleration walk.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125350779","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, the frame to frame surface 3D motion with respect to the camera coordinate system is estimated and integrated over time. The estimation is performed by maximizing a likelihood function of the frame to frame intensity differences measured at key observation points. Then, the jitter is determined as the perspective projection of the difference between the integrated surface 3D translation and a smoothed version of it. Finally, the stabilized video is synthesized by moving the entire content of each image with a displacement vector having the same magnitude but opposite direction to the estimated jitter for that image. The experimental results with synthetic data revealed real time operation with low latency and a reduction of the jitter in a factor of 20. Experimental results with real image sequences captured by a rover platform in indoor and outdoor conditions show very reliable and encouraging stabilization results.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121641121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
