In 2022 the amount of waste on Pasaran Island will reach 504.8 kg per day. Indirectly this has an impact on various issues such as social, environmental, and health. This is marked by the emergence of various local initiatives to solve environmental problems and has an impact on the emergence of various alternative livelihoods, especially for women who live on the island. One of the efforts made has an economic impact on households. In this study, this effort is seen as a form of optimizing the potential of plastic and organic waste in increasing people's income and changing the social and environmental conditions of people on Pasaran Island. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is a method that actively involves research subjects. Data collection in this study was carried out for 1 year from March 2022 to March 2023. The key informants consisted of 5 community groups and the other key informants are village officials and women's representatives who are local initiatives. The results of this study indicate that waste management, both organic and non-organic, has a significant impact on potential alternative livelihoods, especially for women (housewives). Based on the calculation of the potential economic profit from each product produced, it reaches 50% (profit). This potential can be optimized through integration with the community-based tourism model currently being developed on Pasaran Island. These conditions indirectly impact socially, economically and environmentally","PeriodicalId":284504,"journal":{"name":"JESI (Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah Indonesia)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126547862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the facts that occur in the field are that the maximum amount of ZIS fund collection has not been realized. The existence of online ZIS today is a form of innovation for zakat institutions in the era of technological development to be able to help encourage an increase in ZIS collection. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Gen Z's interest in paying ZIS online. This study uses associative quantitative methods with Sem-PLS analysis and the Smart PLS analysis tool. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with sample criteria namely Gen Z (15-25) years old Muslims in the city of Surabaya. The results of the study show that the accountability variable influences Gen Z's interest in paying ZIS online. If accountability has increased, the interest of Gen Z in the city of Surabaya in paying ZIS online has increased. Meanwhile, the variables of usability, ease of use, risk, and transparency do not affect Gen Z's interest in making ZIS payments online. The method used is a quantitative method with multiple regression techniques and moderated regression analysis used to analyze the data. The factor used is Islamic social reporting, and the moderating variable is financial performance contained in the annual reports of several Islamic banks in Indonesia. From 2012 to 2021, the population of this study is Indonesian Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS). The sample obtained based on the sample selection criteria is only four Islamic commercial banks with a total of only 40 observations, indicating that the sample is still relatively small and the resulting value is relatively low to explain the company's financial performance. The time series method is used to process the data. The result show ROA and ROE can moderate and strengthen the impact of ISR on firm performance, ISR has a favorable and considerable impact on the financial performance of Islamic banks. The added value of the company is supported theoretically and empirically by this study.
