Analysis of the implementation of this policy is needed to generate input on the ability to implement the policy. An essential group to be involved in assessing the policy are students. The research was conducted through an open survey made with a google form and disseminated to students in Lampung Province. The questionnaire was distributed between April 5 and May 5, 2021, and distributed through social media and online networks concerned with handling the pandemic in Lampung Province. Questionnaires were distributed to members of the five social media accounts and online networks with a snowball. The data obtained from the google form is recapitulated according to the order of variables and indicators, then verification is carried out on the consistency of filling in the answers. Data that does not fully answer the question is then selected, while intact data is maintained. Furthermore, the data analysis process was carried out quantitatively descriptively using the MS Excel application.","PeriodicalId":283536,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Universitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS 2021)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130029809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whereas in relation to the development and evolution of criminal law, one of the important issues that has often been debated, and the problem both in terms of normative order and practice is regarding the purposes and guidelines of sentencing, especially with regard to guaranteeing the protection of human rights for the subjects involved in it. Therefore, the authors are interested in reconstructing the purposes and guidelines of sentencing in the sentencing system in Indonesia based on the perspective of Pancasila, and then looking for the ideal form of conception of the purposes and guidelines of sentencing later. Based on the author's study it is known that the current purposes and guidelines of sentencing are not generally accommodated in the provisions of material law, formal law, and implementation rules. It causes criminal law enfocement in normative way losing its soul/spirit and “taste” while implementing its sentencing system, as well not fully provided real protection for the rights of the suspect / defendant / convicted, victim or the wider communit. Therefore, a reconstruction of the existence of the purposes and guidelines of sentencing in the Indonesian legal system is needed, by adjusting it to the development of sentencing theory, strengthening of human rights protection, and the main values of the Indonesian people which is contained in Pancasila. Whereas in formulating the purposes and ideal guidelines of sentencing, it must be based on the idea of balance which is obtained from the development of sentencing theory by adjusting it to the aspects of human rights protection, and characteristics of Pancasila as the main basis for the development. ─ Reconstruction, Purpose and Guidelines of Sentencing, Sentencing System, human rights, Pancasila .","PeriodicalId":283536,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Universitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS 2021)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129628834","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These norms are further explained through Law Number 23 of 2002 as amended by Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. Practically, children are categorized as less than 18 years often experience dating violence in various forms, including physical, emotional, economic, sexual violence, to activity restrictions. It harms children's development that will determine the future of the nation. This study aims to describe the form of legal protection for children as victims of dating violence and to find obstacles of law enforcement for children victims of dating violence in Bengkulu. This study uses a juridical empirical (non-doctrinal) approach that observes the law in society with qualitative data analysis. This study showed that all types of dating violence which are classified as criminal acts can be subject to sanctions based on the provisions of the Child Protection Act and the Criminal Code if the perpetrator is more than 18 years old. However, in certain cases, such as fighting, children fighting over their boyfriends, or other minor violence, mediation is preferred as an alternative solution. There are obstacles in children's protection towards dating violence, including economic factors, immature feelings of children, low people's courage to make reports to law enforcers, lack of public knowledge, and the victim's sense of tolerance towards the perpetrator is still strong. This study encourages enhancement in preventive and repressive measures by law enforcers, as well as to increase the socialization of the law related to date violence issues which is not widely understood by the community, children in particular.","PeriodicalId":283536,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Universitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS 2021)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114564118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Coffee is a vital part of the local economy in Indonesia, particularly in several districts in South Sumatera’s provinces. This paper focuses mainly to capture data that could illuminate key indicators of women’s empowerment in the development agenda and the relations with coffee productivity. Indonesia, which has the potential of coffee as a sector of strengthening the national economy, can not only rely on traditional farmers without focusing the women empowerment. The share of labor in coffee production provided by women was estimated at 70%. The problem as general comes with the point to make sure that women coffee smallholders can decide and influence the decision, self-perceptions, personal freedom, access to and control over resources, support from social networks, and access to and decisions about services. This research utilizes the concept of women in development: the development of dual roles and sustainable development to provide the perspective on how women are key stakeholders in improving coffee production. This approach is, therefore, essentials to comprehending the discourse of maintaining women empowerment and coffee productivity in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":283536,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Universitas Lampung International Conference on Social Sciences (ULICoSS 2021)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123030594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
