The coding scheme used to achieve this region is a combination of the partial decode and forward, compress and forward and noise forwarding strategies. In this strategy the relay cooperates with the source to have both a reliable and secure communication by decoding some part of the source message, compressing the received signal and also sending the codewords independent of the transmitted message. Using this scheme we can obtain the perfect secrecy capacity of the semi- deterministic and deterministic relay channels.","PeriodicalId":282587,"journal":{"name":"2010 18th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126295752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mind attributes of present work are the image retrieval using fuzzy approach and the relevance feedback by attention of the query image and the resemble images in the database. At the first the color features (Hue) and saturation (S) for each image by help of Fuzzy C means (FCM) algorithm are quantized to 20 bins. Then the feature vectors for each image are become fuzzy using KNN algorithm and for corresponding image, the 20 Gaussian functions have been regarded. The data scatter in around of each image from viewpoint of features by help of covariance matrix of each image is caused the retrieval of similar samples become excellent. The dominant point of this paper is a new approach for relevance feedback. In the relevance feedback by attention of weighting of image semantic groups by user, the image weight which belongs to each semantic group is changed. The obtained results on an image database show that our approach accuracy versa the number iteration with respect to [1] is better. The images using in this paper, are selected from Corel database and Simplicity project.","PeriodicalId":282587,"journal":{"name":"2010 18th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130125122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However due to its fast and unpredictable changes, its quality is difficult to control. In this paper, an Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is used to determine slag quality based on power quality indices in electric arc furnaces. In order to train the intelligent system, a power quality analyzer is installed on an electric arc furnace feeder to record its power quality parameters. All electrical power quality parameters have been measured for 13 melting. Twelve groups of power quality parameters are examined for prediction slag quality and finally one group including total current harmonic distortion, seventh current harmonic, and three phase current unbalance are selected which shows the best prediction accuracy. The intelligent system trained by six melting data and tested experimentally by connecting power quality analyzer to furnace feeder to predict the slag quality every minute. Experimental results show the accuracy of prediction is about 95%. The designed intelligent system can also be used in slag control process.","PeriodicalId":282587,"journal":{"name":"2010 18th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124550798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We derive equations with different coupling factors for the two coupled LC oscillators for more generality. We show that choosing appropriate inversely proportional coupling factors makes it possible to have exactly zero phase error. Choosing so hasn't any impact on phase noise, indeed the tradeoff between phase noise and phase error in coupled quadrature oscillators have been broken here. The goal of the learning algorithm is to minimize the total cost of misclassifications in leave-one-out test. This is important since in intrusion detection systems, the performance of the classifier on test data is usually evaluated by computing the total misclassification cost instead of the number of misclassified patterns. In our approach, the distance function is defined in a parametric form. The free parameters of the distance function (e.g. features and instances weights) are learned by our proposed method that attempt to minimize the average cost per example. The KDD99 dataset is used to assess the performance of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":282587,"journal":{"name":"2010 18th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116700017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we derive a new theoretical estimate of the prediction error for the same-realization predictions. This estimate is derived for the case that the Least-Squares-Forward (LSF) method (the covariance method) is used as the AR parameter estimation method. This result is used for obtaining a new version of the AR order selection criterion FPE in the finite sample case. The performance of this criterion is compared with that of the conventional FPE criterion using simulated data. The results of this comparison show that the performance of the proposed criterion is better than FPE.","PeriodicalId":282587,"journal":{"name":"2010 18th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128592569","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
