The methods used for the analysis were the following “Diagnostics of personal creativity” (E.E. Tunik), “Definition of social creativity of the individual” (A.V. Batarshev), “Self-assessment of the creative potential of the individual” (N.P. Fetiskin, V.V. Kozlov, G.M. Manuylov), “Nonverbal creativity level diagnostics” (E.P. Torrance). The purpose of the study was to determine and compare the features of creativity of pedagogical and medical universities students. The analysis of the results showed that students have a high level of nonverbal creativity, an average level of personal creativity and self-esteem of creative potential, and social creativity is slightly above the average level. Medical students have a higher level of social creativity compared to pedagogical students, and personal creativity, on the contrary, is lower. In addition, such parameters of personal creativity as imagination and complexity are statistically significantly higher for future psychologists; there are no significant differences in the parameters of curiosity and risktaking. Differences in self-assessment of creative potential among students of pedagogical and medical universities are insignificant.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128562947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These stereotypes do not always correspond to reality. We wondered if the girls contestants could have any personality traits, in contrast to girls who had never participated and would not like to participate in such events and began to study the characteristics from the motivational and volitional sphere. We assumed that female contestants should be motivated to achieve success, due to their confidence in their external data and good volitional qualities. We consider these personality traits to be the most important for participation in a competitive event, because successful overcoming of obstacles, perseverance in achieving goals, striving for victory depend on the level of their development. The results of the study showed that the studied group has high volitional self-regulation. However, we cannot talk about the motivation for achieving success, since the subjects are inclined to motivate the avoidance of failures. In addition, we found that female students generally prefer interiorized success, i.e. one that is achieved through inner work, and not outside influence. Interestingly, beauty and talent contestants, more than their peers, prefer success as recognition, which may be due to their desire to win a prize, approval or title. The results of the study can be used as a justification for educational work at the university in the format of beauty and talent contests, as well as the characteristics of personal development and self-realization within the framework of these contests. It is possible to develop psychological techniques and methods for psychological support of girls participating in various competitions of a similar format.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116844936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is devoted to the analysis of psychological factors of personal and professional self-determination of adolescents with intellectual disabilities, namely, motivation for success, perception of time and selfawareness of the image of the future. To study these personal factors of self-determination of adolescents with intellectual disabilities, we have adapted and tested the methods for studying the time perspective and attitudes towards the further education of adolescents with normo-typical development, which were developed by O.V. Kuznetsova. It is revealed that the decisive factors in the process of personal and professional self-determination is motivational, temporary competence, selfawareness of the image of the future. It is noted that the severity of the identified deficiencies in personal development depends on the structure of the defect in the contingent of the subjects. Thus, adolescents with combined defects are uncritical about their own activities, are unable to realize their past life experience and apply the acquired skills in the present, their motivation is impaired and reduced. An independent choice of profession and life path for this group of subjects is impossible. But the personal and professional self-determination of adolescents without a burdened medical history, having only a mild degree of mental retardation in the structure of the defect, is formed at a sufficient level. The self-awareness of such children is able to produce an image of the future, built on personal life experience, they are aware of their capabilities and are able to choose a profession on their own or with a small, recommendatory help from vocational guidance specialists.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"231 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124547929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In connection with the tasks of psychological help, data on the resource potential of the personality of a cardiac surgical patient, determined by the totality of his intrapersonal and interpersonal resources, are of particular importance. In this work, based on the assessment of the characteristics of hardiness and social support and taking into account the specifics of the surgical intervention, the features of the resource potential of the personality in cardiac surgery patients at the preoperative stage of treatment were determined. Using the Hardiness Test and the Multidimensional Social Support Perception Scale, 152 patients with cardiovascular diseases who were admitted to the hospital for surgical treatment were studied. Taking into account the volume and nature of the planned surgical intervention, patients were assigned to three clinical groups. According to the results of the study, it was found that in patients preparing for massive open heart surgery, the intrapersonal adaptive resource of hardiness at the level of most components is insufficient. The interpersonal resource of social support is fully implemented in all cardiac surgery patients; in terms of social support for the family and significant others, it is close to excessive. At the preoperative stage of work with cardiac patients, it is recommended to rely more on the resources of social support for the family and significant others. Psychological work with the intrapersonal resource of hardiness can be carried out at later stages of rehabilitation.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129864654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relevance of this topic is beyond doubt, since in recent decades an obvious increase in the number of diseases of this kind can be observed, hence it is especially important to study the psychological factors that affect the appearance and development of their symptoms. The aim of the study is to compare and study the features of the manifestation of emotions and the choice of coping strategies in patients with autoimmune diseases such as autoimmune thyroiditis and type 1 diabetes mellitus. The study involved 62 respondents, whose average age is 40 years. The work used four methods aimed at studying the level of alexithymia, prevailing emotional reactions, coping behavior choices and dissatisfaction rates inherent in patients with the diagnoses considered. As a result of the study, it turned out that in the group with autoimmune thyroiditis, patients have difficulties in tracking and expressing their emotions in a constructive way, since the suppression of negative in favor of positive leads in this case to a gradual accumulation of dissatisfaction with oneself, which with age begins to strongly influence the patient's adaptability. In turn, in the group with type 1 diabetes mellitus, patients also find it difficult to track and constructively express their emotions, both positive and negative, often tend to anxiety-depressive experiences, which affects the adaptability of their emotional and cognitive coping strategies.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"366 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125831182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The task of the analysis given in this article was the integration of knowledge on the study of the selfconcept as a psychological phenomenon, since the topic of this research is relevant not only in psychology, but also in philosophy. The history of the development of the self-concept unfolds within the framework of the study of the idea of «I», the consideration of the problems of which originates in ancient cultures and accompanies the entire path of development of philosophical thought, then emerging as a branch of psychological knowledge. Psychological research «I» continues the scientific search for the origins of this phenomenon from the standpoint of various theoretical schools. The study of self-concept is formed as an independent research direction and its central construct, starting with the works of W. James, who for the first time in psychology considers the aspect of considering the «I» by the subject of cognition itself. In subsequent studies, the self-concept is revealed most fully and independentlyin the K. Rogers' phenomenological approach in the mainstream of humanistic psychology.At present, the construction of the selfconcept is influenced by many other theories, both psychological and philosophical, such as Russian philosophical thought of the 20s, the work of transcendentalists and the views of other representatives of philosophy, starting with ideas about the «I» characteristic of the archaic cultures of the East and West.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116414297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the rehabilitation process of postcovid clients is influenced primarily by those stereotypes that were formed before the disease, among which the gender stereotype occupies an important place. The author considers one male and two female gender stereotypes that are approved in Russian society. The male stereotype prescribes a “real” man to have good health, initiative, and independence. Female stereotypes approve of two opposite images of a woman: on the one hand – a “housewife”, who completely gave herself to the care of her husband and children, on the other – a modern woman, focused primarily on professional activities. The study was conducted from September 2020 to February 2021 on the basis of the Regional Center for Rehabilitation of the Disabled (Yekaterinburg). After the study, it was found that men and women with a feminine gender role are more likely to enter rehabilitation, and the rehabilitation of these clients ends with an improvement in the condition. A fairly large percentage of both men and women with a masculine gender role did not improve their condition after rehabilitation. Attention is drawn to the fact that a fairly large percentage of men with a masculine gender role have a paranoid and egocentric attitude to the disease, which complicates the rehabilitation process. The obtained data allow us to conclude that when rehabilitating post-covid clients, it is necessary to pay attention to the stereotypes that were formed before the disease. Such stereotypes include the gender role that the client adheres to.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123597976","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study identified personal factors interrelated with various aspects of adherence, which are considered in line with the author's approach (awareness, medical trust, health-preserving behavior). Thus, the personality factors that favor the effective awareness of the patient about the lifestyle and therapy are high self-control, sensitivity, flexibility and social courage, while dominance acts as a psychological barrier in this regard. The formation of trust is positively associated with a high standard of behavior, diplomacy and self-control, and negatively with non-conformism. The behavioral aspect of adherence is determined by emotional stability, low anxiety and, in part, intelligence. At the same time, expressiveness and independence have a negative relationship with this component. Differences were found in the mean values on the adherence scale in men and women, as well as in samples of patients with different nosologies. The hypothesis of differences in the distribution of types of attitudes towards the disease in patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease was confirmed.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129253479","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
