The study involved 136 students (58.8% girls and 41.2% boys) aged 17 to 21 years, studying at different faculties. In the course of study, an author's questionnaire, aimed at studying the general psychological state of students as well as determining the coping strategies used by students, was compiled. The main difficulties students faced with during this period were identified. They include, first of all, educational (the amount of tasks, academic deadlines), technical (communication failures, acquisition of new studying platforms) and communicative (communication difficulties of students due to quarantine, high emotional tension and conflicts due to self-isolation with close people and relatives, untimely and inaccurate feedback from teachers or fear of contac ting to the teacher for additional explanations ). The psychologi cal coping resources were identified both for boys and girls, these are communication with close people, selforganization, strong-will personality. Communication with close people for girls turned out to be a higher priority resource comparing with boys. The study tracked the dynamic characteristics of the psychological state of students (cognitive, emotional, behavioral components) and their changes during the distance learning period. A relatively calm and optimistic state and rest were replaced by a period of anxiety and active work, which determined the emotional stability of students duringexamination period.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124776073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In terms of measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, it is necessary to look for new mechanisms that can support the employees' working capacity at the proper level. The purpose of the study is to identify job satisfaction of the TB dispensarystaff based on the analysis of the survey results and to develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of the institution under restrictive measures in connection with the prevention of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. The study involved 128 employees of the Omsk Regional Public Health Care Institution “Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary”. The results of the study, in general, demonstrate rather favourable trends: employees show organizational loyalty and are satisfied with most of the parameters of professional activity. The parameters of professional activity with which the majority of respondents are satisfied, as well as factors that do not satisfy a number of employees are found. The means that increase and negatively affect labour activity are identified. The significant characteristics of the work and the leading causes of conflicts with managers are described. Structural subdivisions in which employees who are dissatisfied with their work are working have been singled out and, in accordance with the identified parameters, recommendations for managers and the qualitycontrol department have been developed.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131462040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article deals with the identification of the age changes of self-attitude and coping of medical workers who actively continue their professional activity in order to describe the psychological conditions of subjective well-being at the advanced age. Our empirical research involved employees of Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil healthcare institutions (aged 32 to 74, N = 47). To describe self-relation, the author applied the personal differential technique. E. Heim's method was applied to diagnose coping mechanisms. The level of well-being was identified by the means of the asthenia, hospital anxiety and depression scale and the scale of psychological stress. It was demonstrated that employees of medical institutions working in old age preserve subjective well-being. Among medical professionals under 40 years of age self–respect is connected to emotional coping (p < 0.01). At the older age personal activity is connected to coping self-control (p < 0.05). In the agegroup between 40 and 60 copingis not connected to self–attitude.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125306793","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It should be underlined that violence against women is an important health risk factor, with serious consequences for woman's physical and mental health. Physical, emotional, verbal or sexual abuse can have an extremely negative impact on the quality of life, and the trauma can affect a woman's attitude towards herself and others. What's more, women who have experienced abuse or other trauma are known to have a higher risk of developing psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In this regard, identifying the precursors of violence against women is of particular importance for early intervention and effective prevention. The purpose of the article is to identify the causes as well as the possible consequences of violence against women. A wide range of scientific research methods are used to confirm the results. The author comes to the conclusion that the problem of violence against women is a tacit ban and is assessed negatively. It is also concluded that it is necessary to change this trend, since it generates very unfavorable psychological and social consequences for women in future. Directions for improving methodological research in the stated field are formulated.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125014091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The possibility of mastering new skills by a future doctor is assessed by a number of competencies while passing the personal knowledge of the tutor and increasing the interest of the student in the result of cognitive activity. The transfer of personal knowledge is a complex multi-stage process, involving the reorganization of incoming information taking into account the individual characteristics of the personality and worldview of the perceiver. The depth of the material study and the success of its future implementation are correlated to the interest formed in childhood and adolescence, which determines conscious fixation of the data and its unconscious reinforcement as well. Subsequently, a comprehensive acquisition of the paradigms of diagnostics and treatment of diseases takes place in medical educational institutions thanks to the quality teachers' work. Due to the small number of publications on this topic, this problem is considered for the first time. In the course of this study, the authors set the goal of studying the specifics of the interaction between a professor and a student in an interactive format within the framework of intramural studies, the peculiarities of personal knowl edge transmission, as well as the transference of patterns of aspiration for medical activity. According to the results of the study it was found out that the predisposition to medicine develops in families of medical workers since childhood. The crucial significance of teaching staff in the process of the unconscious material learning in high medical school was proved and the key role of personal knowledge as a basic phenomenon for the differential activities of a physicianwas determined.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130642583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A review of the literature on the problem showed both a lack of conceptual definition of the term, despite its active use, and a lack of information to distinguish orthorexia nervosa from eating disorders and normative variations in the eatingstyle. The results of an empirical study of the emotional and personality features and characteristics of interpersonal relations system in women with tendencies to orthorexia nervosa are presented. There have been hypotheses about higher rates of \"negative affectivity\" in women with orthorexia nervosa and specific characteristics in the sphere of interpersonal attachment. According to the results of the study, women with orthorexia nervosa show significantly higher indicators of anxiety and depression, hostility, perfectionism, as well as the predominance of unreliable attachment styles in comparison with women without specific restrictive attitudes towards the diet. The results obtained make it possible to confirm the assumption that orthorexia nervosa should be considered not as a conditionally normative variant of eating behavior, but as one of the forms of emotional and personalitywell-being disturbances.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133882716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Health literacy is recognized by the global community as a strategic element of public health, especially with the heavy burden of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic is accompanied by new factual data appearing in the available Internet environment, frequently changing recommendations and guidelines, including misinformation. The main source of information for the public is becoming the media. E-health literacy for dealing with too much and inaccurate information about current COVID-19 infodemics requires a unique set of skills. These include the ability to find, evaluate, integrate, and apply health information from the online environment to prioritize their own problems. The new health literacy challenge is e-health media literacy. This is the understanding of information, the ability to distinguish between explicit and implicit meaning of messages, and to benefit from media messages. The most reliable sources of relevant information for patients are, in most cases, the websites of medical organizations. Preparing and posting informational and educational materials for the public on health care providers' Web sites is inextricably linked to the development of media literacy by the nurses themselves. Therefore, one of the priority areas in the training of nurses is the formation of media literacy to improve electronic health literacy of the population.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116056170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study was to define characteristics and relationships of hardiness in Russian and international medical students. 205 Russian and international students of junior courses of the medical faculty of the university were studied. We used the S. Maddy hardiness test, DemboRubinstein self-assessment technique, sociocultural questionnaire. Statistical processing included descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. It was revealed that significant differences in the severity of indicators of hardiness among Russian and international students were not revealed, which characterizes students as capable of effectively carrying out educational and professional activities and maintaining psychological balance in most stressful situations. Nevertheless, Russian and international students had certain differences in the severity of hardiness, taking into account gender and age factors. Motivation for educational and professional activity was more pronounced among Russian male students, and tolerance for uncertainty was more pronounced among female international students. International students were more involved in learning activities in the younger age group, while Russian students were more involved in the older age group. In the group of international students, it was also noted that high characteristics of hardiness were interconnected with psychological well-being and the desire to gain new experience. In Russian students, high indicators of hardiness were more interconnected with mental health, psychological well-being, the absence of harmful habits of using psychoactive substances and pronounced stress resistance. The results can become the basis for the development of university programs for adapting students to the educational environment, focused on Russian and international students, for the implementation of preventive programs and health development programs at universities, taking into account the factors of gender, age and country of origin of a student.","PeriodicalId":281689,"journal":{"name":"PERSONALITY IN A CHANGING WORLD: HEALTH, ADAPTATION, DEVELOPMENT","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130869844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
